| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| About 35 years ago, I went to Paris, and brought quite a few bottles of Shalimar back to the States with me. It was in an enamel looking bottle with off white background & blue flowers on it. It smelled so beautiful & rich, smooth & creamy back then. I smelled some the other day in a store, and thought it was a joke. It was harsher, and thinner, not at all like it once was so many years ago. I KNOW they have tweaked it, no doubt about it. Maybe not the parfum, but the EDT & the EDP, yucka doodle! How could they? It was one of the most beautiful & sexy fragrances of all time, and it wasn't as powdery back then as it is now. HATE THAT!!!! Back in the day, I would give it 5 stars, now.... |
