| The ORIGINAL Rive Gauche is an all time great. It was Barbara Hutton's favorite scent. The new version lacks the original's verve, sparkle and originality. BUT . . . it's still better than most of what's coming out from other design houses. It's sad that Monsieur Saint Laurent no longer heads his salon. He is a genius, and already he is sorely missed. YSL'S favorite scent was CHAMPAGNE. Again, that fragrance got mixed up, and now it's called YVRESSE. I don't think that's as good as the original, either. |
