| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I just got the latest Allure mag and they've got a sample of new Rive Gauche-the "modernized" version. The ad is of two people apparently having phone sex (???) Rive Gauche always smelled classy and sophisticated to me, certainly not reminiscent of phone sex. This STINKS!! I'm SO SAD they've changed the formula. I'm interested to hear what others think, but this does NOT smell "modernized" to me -- it smells old, heavy, dark, and musty. GROSS, Tom Ford - GROSS, and a bad decision. It smells nothing at all like the original. Why don't they just make a new one and call it Rive Gauche 2 or something, instead of messing with success? |
