| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| This fragrance is actually not dated since it was made in 2003. But i do know where you people are coming from when you say 'old man'. It does have that sort of quality, though it's not dated, it is simply made this way. Tom Ford likes the classic scents of the 70s and 80s, he meant to make this a classic smell without being dated. This is the perfect example of the modern and classic clashing, and a perfect example of the avant-garde YSL creation. I just so happen to love this fragrance to bits and pieces. It is also one of my most complimented fragrances from either sex believe or not. But i totally understand the people who dont like this one bit, i mean it's not in the typical genre as far as the fragrance industry goes. It is the departure from what is known out there, and certainly departs from the public's general perception of today's fragrances.
To me, this is easily a 5 star fragrance, and i'm in my 20s. |
