| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Today I tried the infamous RED DOOR. For many years I stayed away from it because whenever I tried it that initial whiff from the bottle was always a little much. I sprayed it on a card this time and walked around the store for a bit. After about 5-10 minutes I took another whiff and was very pleasantly surprised to see that RED DOOR indeed does smell quite nice - that strong initial note had settled into a softer, warmer one. Not offensive after all as I've thought it for years to be due to that initial encounted from the bottle. Once it settled RED DOOR is really quite nice. I can't really put my finger on it, but it definitely is a rosey kind of flowery scent... warm and soft. I have to be honest and say that while I just don't really see myself wearing RED DOOR, I would definitely recommend it to other women, especially if they like floral, rose scents that are not categorized at "teen" scents. Personally I prefer orientals, woody, spicy, warm and sweet scents. Florals don't entice me all that much (at this time - never know that could change with time). Oh and do I need to tell you about the staying power of this fragrance! I think you already know that this will stay with you and stay with you it will. Good for those who love it, not so good for those who don't ;)
