| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Now that I am reading these posts, I wonder if the perfume that knocked me out was poeme, not tresor (see my tresor post) All I know was I happily checking out some plates at a garage sale when a plump bespectacked teacherish lady bumps a long. It's hot summer--first I note florals but then rose and I don't know what smack me in the face, and I'm surrounded by a cloying persistent floral cloud! She wasn't tasteless...just gullible and clueless and apparently thought it was good to drench herself with 5lb of perfume....sigh.
what is it about the heavy florals that smell great in fall, but just kill in the summer?
it is too bad that araphel, maya and lola quit posting for their comments are greatness! |
