DEFINITELY NOT FOR THE KIDS. ARNOLD R. 02/24/2003 06:10 AM 4 out of 5 stars

MESSAGE BY ARNOLD R.
A very unusual fragrance, it doesn't smell like anything else I've ever come across. It has an almost unique combination of "Masculine" and "Fresh." Which is rare, especially if you think of the more recent (late 80's to the present) stuff. Either they're masculine and sexy (think Fahrenheit), or they're fresh and unisexy (even if they're not explicitly marketed as unisex -- think Acqua di Gio), but not both. This one's both. Paco Rabanne starts off fresh and bold. (Go ahead and underline or italicize both those words in your mind, because I mean it. Fresh. And. Bold.) Then it becomes more masculine during the drydown as the fresh, almost soapy notes fade somewhat, and the spices wake up and say howdy. Look out. That's when it definitely becomes Not For The Kids. I can't see someone in highschool pulling this off. You've got to be at least in your late 20's, if not older. If you're a thirtysomething chap (such as myself) or older, you might want to give this one a try. (By the way, I don't mean to offend anyone reading this who's a young fellow, I just don't think you're going to attract any women your age with this stuff, I don't think young women would like this fragrance, but hey -- if you're into older women, give this one a shot!)
