| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Norell is one of those perfumes that started off with an air of real prestige and has, unfortunately, been bought by various companies who have sold it's rights to mass-market distributors. (You used to be able to find it only in upper-end stores.) This doesn't mean, however, that the beautiful fragrance itself smells any less exclusive! Eileen's comment about it reminding her of mink stoles and diamond bracelets is very fitting; it has a feeling of old-Hollywood glamour to it, and is definitely best for dressy, evening occasions. It smells mature and feminine- a true "woman's" perfume in an era of nondescript, "unisex" scents- which is really appealing to those of us who don't want to smell like everyone else! |
