| This has no vanilla smell... more of an aldehydic floral. Though, unlike other aldehydes, this one does not turn sour after passing time. It has a slight green note that is cooling. The orange blossom is smoothed by its vetiver edge. There is a transparant sweetness. No other fragrance similar to it. 'Nocturnes' is beautiful and one-of-a-kind!
