I'm having trouble deciding on this one between a 4 and 5* rating. Ah, what the heck, I'll give it 5 because it is kind of unique. For some reason the woods in this turn smokey on my skin. It reminds me of a cross between Britney Spears Curious in Control and Armani Code for women. Not that expensive either. I have to admit, I don't get the 'mermaid' thing. It doesn't smell anything like the ocean on me. It smells like sweet/warm, drifting musk incense at a mystic bazaar, a touch of sweet wood burning, a hint of sensuality, smokey eye makeup on a classy, sophisticated woman, like fresh camphor wood is split with an axe and you immediately breathe in the woody fragrance, a touch of powder in the drydown. Unique. Bitter orange, woods, vanilla = warm and sensual. I tried this in cool weather (Winter) so keep that in mind.
