| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I wanted so much to like this classic, but to my nose (maybe it's the aldehydes), it smells like a dank public men's room (or the depths of the New York subway) in the height of summer. (A friend of mine with a sophisticated nose had the same reaction.) I know that civet is animalic -- I like civet, and I love lots of vintage fragrances -- but this is just foul. I tried the EDT; perhaps the perfume is better? |
