FRAGRANCE TIPS
Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions.

I've been debating purchasing a new bottle of Joy, but these comments have me hesitating since my experience was somewhat similar and I was wondering what was wrong. My first experience of Joy was with a tiny bottle of the real perfume and it lingered in my memory for years. When I finally got around to investing in a new bottle of perfume I was crushed. It didn't smell at all the same as I remembered. It was weak and cheapy sweet. I haven't purchased a bottle since. So how DOES one find out about formula changes? My first bottle was about 20 years ago. It was all the soft characteristics, but it did not fade or twist into strange smells. It was incredible because it was soft, held its floral tones, and by that I mean it remained true; strong without being overpowering, garden sweet without being sappy. Help!
