| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Such great comments about Initial from so many of you, I just had to run down and try it today!! Uh oh. I guess I'm thoroughly outnumbered (and not the first time!!). This one was NOT my cup of tea at all (but more power to you if it suits you; I'm envious!!); on me it was very strong and sharp, almost masculine (and the saleswoman did mention that a lot of men are buying it. . . for themselves!). It was so harsh and powerful and all-TOO-long-lasting -- again, this is just my own experience, and you might well have better luck. It reminds me of a lot of other classic, popular scents that don't wear well on me, such as Addict and Omnia and Trouble. So, if you know those scents and love them, I think you might love this one, too, which is great!!! If you read those names, however, and have a less than positive association, you might find that something fresher and softer is, like me, more your cup of tea!!! |
