| I just received my gift set from the UPS man and I could not wait to try this. I had smelled it in a store a few years ago and thought it was nice, but not this time. My set has eau de parfum, dusting powder shaker, shower gel, body lotion and a pretty pink shower puff, all this beautifully packaged in a lovely black mesh box with pink trim. But what is inside should count more than the outside. Unfortunately, i am so dissapointed with this. I sprayed out on my front porch after the UPS man left, and two of my cats ran away a couple of minutes later. Obviously they did not like the drydown. At first I smelled plastic, then rubber, then it hit me, suntan lotion the same exact brand I smell when my husband and I go for our weekly walk on the boardwalk of our beloved New Jersey beaches! That's it! So I can see why Sarah Michelle Geller supposedly wears this, she is always in the dark when filming her vampire series and wants a reminder of the sun and beach! Did not detect tuberose at all. The loveliest tuberose scent to me is Carolina Herrera signature fragrance.
In conclusion this set will go to a sister-in-law of mine who is mean as a gift. What better way to let her know what i think of her! And for all you Fracas fans I am sorry if I offended any of you. Am sure the fragrance is great on you. |
