| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| You had better like tuberose if you're going to wear Fracas, which I do . . . kind of. Still, Fracas isn't just any old tuberose; the top note is metallic and oily, lush and encompassing. Then, Fracas gets creamy and cherry-ish, but never really loses the oily factor. The middle note also includes the threat of something dark developing, but it's not ready to come out just yet. The drydown is a combination of tuberose, cream and Crayola Crayons - with a hint of dirt. Yes, dirt. I must confess that, even though I have had Fracas for several months, I haven't yet worn it out of my house. There's something naughty about it ( I love naughty) and I haven't yet encountered the right occasion to pull it off. After all, Fracas is not something one wears to the office . . . or the grocery store . . . or a book group. One wears Fracas when they want to say, "I'm here in all of my flaming femininity, smelling vulgar and indulgent, simply because I can." Fracas is so IN YOUR FACE that I can hardly wear it without smirking. My husband's birthday is Saturday. We're going out for drinks and a fancy dinner - just the two of us. Well . . . us and Fracas. Surprise, Baby. |
