| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Ferre's Essence D'Eau is a nice fragrance, though it's not really "me," if you know what I mean. It strikes me as being a heavier, sweeter version of Ferre 20 minus the dark undertones, which is a very nice fragrance worthy of more coverage than it gets. Essence D'Eau is a floral-oriental that is pretty much horizontal. In other words, it doesn't change much from beginning to end. Top notes: cedar flower, kumquat skin, lily of the valley. Mid notes: narcissus, rose, jasmin. Base notes: transparent woods, amber, musk. If you tend towards sweet florals, you'll love Essence. If you like the sweetness of Gianfranco Ferre, Ferre's debut frag, you'll love this one, too, I think. |
