| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| this is a repeat post from La Perla Blue (I think), but Robin, you are the funniest, most kind-hearted, most opinionated, most creative writer... AND you have the most wonderful nose!!! I think it's super important that you are both kind-hearted AND opinionated. I agree with you and Maya, both. State your opinions strongly, creatively, because these posts are supposed to be taken with a grain of salt! Maya, I LOVED your opera/kick-in-the-seat imagery of Fendi. See, I both hate and love these more "classic" (i.e. older) perfumes because it reminds me of my mother-- who is a wonderful, loving, woman who has worn the same old perfume for 40 years. It's pure womanly olfactory luxury on her-- perfect for her, stinky on me. By the way, thanks to your wonderful recommendation, I'm happily pursuing Love Hangover, by Too Faced, because-- like you-- I ALMOST love Live, by Jennifer Lopez, but there's something in it that doesn't quite fit. You're brilliant, you and Robin both!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH...kindred perfume spirits! :-D |
