| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| "CALIFORNIA is classified as a luxurious, gentle, floral fragrance." Can this be true? Did they change the formula for this fragrance since I wore it back in 1995? This is one of my least favorite fragrances, and one that I actually wore in middle school. I'm surprised that other reviewers have called it "soft and floral," because on me it smelled harsh, like cleaning products. I remember opening a bottle and having one of my classmates smell it, and he pulled back in disgust, saying it smelled like men's cologne. I dunno... maybe they have changed it. |
