| this is one that I've sort of developed a liking for over the course of the last year or so - my mother has worn it for years and when she bought me a bottle, both my husband & I didn't like it because it smelled like my mother. However, in the last couple of months, I've persevered with it & I'm really starting to like it - especially after the dry down. It's sharply sweet at the beginning, but dries down (in an hour or so) to much softer - develops into a less sweet, softer, sort of heady, light fragrance, not overpowering at all. I tend to like fresh, clean scents, but I like this one cause it's a little richer without knocking anyone over (like Red Door, Obsession & the like). Definitely one to add to your collection! I think of it as a daytime fragrance when I'm in the mood for something a little more complex...but not sultry. |
