| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I received my bottle today after sampling this at Macy's last week-end. I love this fragrance and can describe it more comprehensively now that I am actually at the computer while it is drying down. On my skin, it opens with the citrus note followed quckly by the rich floral. I don't detect any bitterness or sharpness: the fragrance is warm and a little (but not too) sweet. It dries to an ambery vanilla that has such depth that as I move my arms I can smell different aspects of it. To my nose this fragrance is not loud, overstated, or age and era-specific. It is warm, comforting and utterly feminine. I don't have any accompanying bath products yet but decided to experiment with the vanilla-scented products I had on hand. Boucheron works well with the new Dove Cream Oil Body Wash in Jasmine/Vanilla. I used the Essence of Beauty (CVS) Body Cream in Walnut with the Boucheron EDP and it was a superb combination as this body cream has a woody vanilla scent. i don't remember if I rated in my previous posts and they aren't yet appearing on the board, so I will rate again. I'd give it 10 stars anyway, so if I've already rated it that works out well! |
