| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I tried this on a whim one day and wound up loving it. This came as a surprise because most Chanel fragrances smell awful on me. It starts off as a soft floral, and then gradually warms up with a very unobtrusive vanilla base. Normally I dislike vanilla intensely, but in this case it lends a soft warmth to the fragrance without being cloying.
I sampled both the EDT and EDP, and strangely found the EDT worked much better on my skin: it smelled smooth and soft. The EDP smelled thin and tinny with annoying hints of tobacco. I kept thinking I had gotten the concentrations mixed up! but no, the EDT works much better for me.
Although I've never been a fan of Chanel fragrances, the ingredients are top-notch: the EDT lasts forever on me. So, for the first time in my life I have a Chanel fragrance on my "To buy" list! |
