| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Sophisticated in its simplicity, 4711 is an understated, refined, dry (in the wine sense – there’s no sweetness to it whatsoever), lemon-dominant citrus. The fragrance is cool and refreshing; you smell like you’re sitting in the shade of a lemon tree on a dry, warm day. Quite a departure from today’s candy-sweet-citrus-fruit melange scents, and unlike all of them, I can see this being worn by a mature adult, as well as in an office/academic environment. However, like nearly all citrus fragrances, 4711 lacks a little in the longevity department. Still worth the purchase price though, all in all. |
