| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| This is one of my all time favourites. That said, it is not a perfume for all seasons in my opinion.
I find this scent very warm, almost heavy, and really a perfume for me alone. Although I have never garnered a compliment from man or beast on this perfume, I personally enjoy it and so I wear it like a comfort perfume.
The scent reminds me strongly of cherries or almond extract - this is its most dominant note to me, coupled with a musky, pipe tobacco type of smell and it stays true right through the day. Two sprays are enough, and when I wear it, it is cool or cold outside and I am in layers. For summer, it is simply too warm to wear.
I don't find this to be a simple, straightforward perfume and I smell no aquatic or "clean" notes in it at all. No one I know actually likes it but me, but I don't care because when I wear it, I feel like me.
