| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I like Fred Hayman's 273 but can't always wear it. Sometimes it's just too sweet and cloying, making me sorry I sprayed it on, even though I like the fragrance. I just don't always like it on me. I'm a lover of gardenia and tuberose and rich florals in general but sometimes 273 is just "too much" for me. At other times - when I'm in the mood for it - I love it. I can't wear 273 in the summer heat and humidity, it's just too sweet. Perhaps that's the amber, which doesn't always work for me. But I wore 273 last night under a turtleneck sweater on a cold rainy night, and it was just right. The sandalwood in the base is warm and nice. |
