Boucheron is classified as a luxurious, fruity fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of masculine blend of citrus and woody tones. It is recommended for romantic wear. The fragrance hinges on three major themes: a light hesperide accord composed of verbena, bergamot and Seville orange: an aromatic accord that hinges on basil, coriander and juniper, a woody note of patchouli, vetiver and Mysore sandalwood. Hints of sunny floral essences of ylang ylang, rose, geranium, clary sage, iris and ciste round off the fragrance.

    Great product...

  • RAYSPIKE02/09/2013

I Rue the day I introduced my husband to boucheron. . He really doesn't want to wear anything else. He is really hardcore for it. He likes to keep a bottle in his car, spray himself in the car and drive in the boucheron scented environment. I guess he's marking his territory. It smells fabulous and sexy on him so I don't mind too much.

  • DIDEE04/04/2012

my husband's favorite for several years

  • DEEARNEST02/02/2012

The scent is very different if you are looking for something unique. Initially I wasn't attracted to the scent but my wife loved it. That prompted me to reconsider and I'm glad that I did.

  • DAVID01/31/2012

This perfume smells like bar soap. Smell doesn't last more than a couple of hours. Don't waste your money on Boucheron eu de perfume.

  • DAWN01/11/2012

Great fragrance - give it a while to settle on your skin

  • KEITHB01/05/2012

Great buy. I have used Boucheron for over 20 years but have found difficulty in buying from shops in the last year. Ordered on-line and delivered within 10 days from USA.

  • GARTH BAILIE12/24/2011

i always get plenty of complements when i wear boucheron.long lasting fragrance, its one of my favourite.

  • GSKMD09/07/2011

not an everyday scent, this is the classic executive power scent that is best for long term evening wear. I agree with all of the five star comments but you also need to use this sparingly with others for daytime

  • DAVID OWEN02/09/2011

I have worn Boucheron since the 80's. Now I find it impossible to find deoderant & aftershave. What's a Man to do now?? Suggestions???

  • MICHAEL FROM AUSTIN12/15/2010

I have used both boucheron products and they are wonderful. In fact, women can't wait to undress after they get a whiff of the citrus scent on me.

  • MANUEL TORIBIO12/16/2009

These is the colone of colones is The # 1 in my list of colones collection that I have and I tell you the money spent on it is verry well spent and I have to get my self another just to remenber the good complement from the womens the will be atracted to you

  • FRANK12/27/2007

classy - elegant - awesome - not for generation "X" who seem to like stale urine like fragrances accompanied with weird scents - executive like scent, which is distinguished and elegant. Don't wear this with your jeans!!

  • DEVIN12/24/2007

Really good - sharp lemony opening with a powdery drydown...this just oozes class & good taste.

  • BRENT J06/07/2007

Are you tired of colognes that make you smell like candy, or your Aunt Judy, or a pimp? Then this sophisticated scent is what you should be spraying. The sharp citrus opening may blow your hair back at first, but it drys down nicely to a subtle, non cloying lemony/powder scent that won't make you smell like a fool. Very uptown. Perfect choice when worn with a suit and tie.

  • JASON03/12/2007

This stuff is great in the summer time, for me, anyway. It just has a nice, clean soapy smell. Thank God it's too classy for the "club" or "pimp" cologne lovers. That keeps it unique.

  • ANDREAS10/04/2006

It is a desirous, sophisticated scent. It took me a few years before I decided to purchase it, sampling it from time to time. I have great experience in fragrances and Boucheron is one of my all time favorites. The prominent citrus scent resides well and its woody, masculine undertones complement nicely.

  • LESTAT09/30/2006

A lady working in mens fragrances in the mall sprayed some on my wrist. All I can say is either I didnt like this cologne or the cologne didnt like me.Smelled like something my grandfather should wear.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE07/26/2006

I really like this sharp citric-floral which is luxurious and high class stuff and you don't smell it hardly out there but I like L' Instant (which smells similar with a kinda Vera Wang twist) a bit better.

  • UNCLE TIM 06/07/2006

I bought a mini to try. My first reaction was ugh. And boucheron homme found its way to my work out colognes. Before the mini was gone I had bought 1.6 oz. A sophisiticated fruity smell that lasts. Definitely a classic.

  • ANDY04/22/2006

Smells like a car freshener, but I can't remember which one. It might be the "new car scent".....

  • AQUARIUS4.704/06/2006

Very nice high class sharp-powered floral hit is great competition against Chanel's Egoiste Platinum and YSL's Opium.

  • JASON02/26/2006

When I first put this on I thought it wasn't very good. THEN, it turned into a soapy kind of smell that reminded me of Gendarme. So, if you don't like soap; look elsewhere. It's very unlike the newer "lounge singer", woody, mossy colognes that seem to be the trend these days. Now those smell freakin' old! And the staying power for a toilette is unreal: I put it on at 8pm and could still smell it at 8am! Now that is great staying power. Worth the money. Case closed!

  • CB01/25/2006

The mistake that many people make when the make a decsion about a cologne or perfume is they spray it and smell it immediately and make a judgement. The problem is you literally will not smell all of the notes in the fragrance. This is a perfect example of a fragrance that if you are impatient you will give this a low rating. The Drydown is spectacular. I bought this one and I look forward to purchasing the in the future. I currently own over 35 bottles of cologne (gifts and able to get a good price). Some of them I will not ever consider buying once the run out, but Boucheron is definitely a keeper forever.

  • MAGGIE MAY01/22/2006

Such an elegant fragrance. Any age man can wear it, but a mature man can carry off the whole image much better than the "youngsters" who wear trendy fragrances. This is perfect for the confident man who doesn't have to have 40 bottles to choose from. BOUCHERON for homme is the only one he needs! My man wears it and I wear BOUCHERON for women. (which is the best there is!)

  • ERIC11/23/2005

CBBC you're in your 30's baby not 20's so don't fool yourself about your own age, let's hope you live to old age. The fragrance is a classic and you should stay away from it being trashy and tacky, but that's just you personally.

  • TONY T09/26/2005

i am 25 so when initially spraying this was as overpowering as aspen, then after an hour or so the drydown took over an wow!! if i was a bit older i would purchase this. maybe i am not mature enough for this as i also like jaipur. maybe once i hit 26. great fougere scent. i will put this in the same category as D&G. LUXURY AND THEN SOME. next purchase will most likely be le roy soleli, aquaman,or magnetism.

  • EARL09/05/2005

This is a very classy, mature scent. It's strong and it will stay with you all day long so be careful not to put too much on.

  • STANLY 08/22/2005

rhis cologne is not flashy but it goes fell with a suit and a tie. it speaks money and class when you wear it. the most important thing is to wear this fragrance on the right occasion.

  • A MAN WHO KNOWS08/17/2005

I have tested hundreds of fragrances and owned dozens of them, however, Boucheron is by far the best fragrance ever made; here is why. 1. It lasts. Newer fragrances smell fine for a few hours, but at the end of the day, no one can smell it. 2. Classic scent. It is unusual, refreshing, and sophisticated. (Also, this is not some ‘old man scent’ that others claim. Curiously, the women’s version is ‘old lady’ like.) 3. I have been stopped in public places, at work, and in private encounters, by both men and women either asking ‘What smells so good?’ or ‘What is wearing that great cologne’ 4. No one seems to wear it. It’s nice to have on something that is mysterious – unlike Polo, Farenheit, Cool Water, etc or some other Pimp Perfume. 5. Did I mention this is the GREATEST FRANGRANCE OF ALL TIME? Do yourself a favor. Buy the EDP and watch the results.

  • KENNY07/22/2005

This one makes me sick! It makes me headache. The worst ever! Strong tones of each scent doesn't blend well...citrus and woody...they compete to come out....YUKKKKKK!

  • MIKE FROM MANHATTAN04/30/2005

After seeing this fragrance for years in department stores, I finally tried it on in the Bay in downtown Toronto while on vacation this winter. Wow - I found this scent to be the most elegant and classy gentleman's fragrance I even came across - and I've been wearing fragrances since the late 1960's. I can envision a rich executive who lives on Park Avenue wearing this as a signature scent. Boucheron Pour Homme is 100% masculine and I would recommend it to anyone who dresses up either at work or during a nice evening out. A perfect signature fragrance for a gentleman of any age, keeping in mind that the idea of "old" or "modern" smelling is totally ridiculous.

  • PEPE LE PEW12/24/2004

This scent wasn't for me. It was a contradiction. It had subtle pleasant scents and then it knocked me out with a overpowering offensive scent. Some on this board have called it an old man scent and I'm not sure if that alone is the problem. Hey this could be for you but it's not for me. I 'll stick with Romance Silver and Seduction

  • R.J.11/10/2004

A CITRUS PARADISE FOR THE WOMEN WHO SMELL THIS AWESOME SCENT. A CLASSIC.

  • DAVE07/22/2004

    Ecxellent scent, and classy indeed

  • TOMMY. A.04/11/2004

Smells classy and expensive on me (thats what people tell me). Very sophisticated. The eau de perfum is very nice!. Not for everyone i guess.

  • BRAD MEDLING04/06/2004

This stuff is headache in a bottle. It is a more intense smell than the way eau d'orange verte and aramis life opens up with.

  • JEFF03/09/2004

Fabulous scent. Here's my list of great citrus mens fragrances: Monsieur Givenchy -1950's Monsieur Balmain -1960's Armani - 1980's Bowling Green -1980's Green Water - 1990's Boucheron - 1990's D & G Masculine - 1990's Azzaro Pure Cedrat - 200? All these are excellent, classic citrus scents, but at the same time different. Try before you buy. Any other good ones you have come across, please post them here. Cheers

  • ZORBA01/19/2004

Boucheron is a very refined masculine scent for all occasions. It is an excellent choice for a "signature" fragrance.

  • PAUL 01/05/2004

Indeed a masculine and refined scent; not light yet fresh and warm; only problem: too subtle and short-lasting on my skin.

  • JONATHAN12/24/2003

I am using the "eau de parfum" and have to admit that it is a great fragrance. It is not over powering by any means. It is not an old man's fragrance....Tommy/Polo users should stick to their Tommy and Polo or whatever it is they are into these days.

  • W.B.12/09/2003

A TIMELESS CLASSIC THAT CAN WORN FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS SUCH AS YOUR FIRST DATE, WEDDING, HONEYMOON, OR JUST PLAIN HAVING FUN. A MEMOIRE TO BE A PARTOF YOUR GREATEST "ROMANTIC MOMENTS" HISTORY TO REMEMBER".

  • BRYAN12/02/2003

This is an excellent, classy scent. Anyone who complains it smells "old" or nasty may simply not have the body chemistry for it. I am 30 years old (not old, I hope!) and I get compliments all the time on this scent. If you don't like it, go back to wearing (too much) Fahrenheit or Joop.

  • SDM10/15/2003

A great scent day or night. check it out!

  • HARRY07/30/2003

Boucheron for men is definitely a fragrance for "real" men - not for wimps!!! A little will go a long way and be prepared for lots of "action" - ladies love it!. I've tried quite a few fragrances in the past but Boucheron has been my personal favorite for years now.

  • CBBC06/07/2003

This scent sucks....smell very old man smelling. Me being in my early 30's suggest Jaipur Homme, more geared toward the young.

  • CHARLES B02/28/2003

Boucheron is one that I loved, the very first instant I smelled it. It's a scent that I find very elegant. The strength of it means you have to use only a little to get what you're after. A great fragrance!

  • SIMON01/26/2003

Starts with a cool citrus whiff but then gets real nasty real fast.

  • RADISRI01/17/2003

    Excellent Scent. Long lasting.

  • JIM12/23/2002

THIS STUFF IS HOT HOT HOT TRY THE JAIPUR HOMME EDP IT IS ALSO GREAT.. THE WOMEN LOVE THE SMELL AND IT LAST FOR HOURS..

  • BILL12/01/2002

Like its counterpart for women Boucheron for Men is a rich, unique scent that amkes it clear you care about the scent you're wearing. Highly recommend! As for the women's fragrance - it remains the most provocative and stimulating I've ever smelled.

  • JAMIE11/27/2002

    I find this too weak.

  • BOB11/22/2002

Outstanding. Not overpowering like so many of today's colognes. Elegant.

  • TK07/08/2002

Bought it for my son. Wonderful scent and it doesn't smell like all the other fragrances. Would recommend it for any man.

  • MIKE M.04/26/2002

After Jaipur, this scent wins hands down. Formal, sophisticated. Not a "dress down" fragrance. Best for evening or office wear.

  • PLANET STOMPER12/22/2001

Easily, hands down one of my all-time bestest, mostest favorites! Very classy and very proper for evening wear. There is very little chance one will ever grow tired of this fragrance. Instead of masking your body odor, this precious, exhilirating concoction will force you to *want* to be "very clean" for it, otherwise, you'd most certainly feel it's just a waste--even on yourself! Only "disappointment" is the largest sizes that can be found in the States are still generally smaller than those in Paris! Plus, it's just about impossible to get the splash-on here, only the spray type, for whatever reason...

  • KENNETH M.11/24/2001

THIS MY VERY FAVORITE. THE SMELL IS WONDERFUL AND WOMEN JUST LOVE IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT...

  • JOLYMATAR09/11/2001

am wondering if it smells as good for women coz am planing on buying it for me I bought the men one as a gift

  • BOUCHERON APRES RASAGE07/09/2001

Do you carry this item also??? If so, I would like some.

  • ELENA11/24/2000

Wonderful fragrance! The first I gave to my husband in the beginning of our relationship! You will not be dissapointed!
