Boucheron is the only perfume I'll wear. It's worth every penny.

  • MARCIA GALLEGOS04/09/2016

    Love this perfume

  • MR B ROY02/20/2013

My partner has been using this perfume as her signature perfume for 20 years. People often comment about its special smell when she is out. Harder to get in UK now.

  • KRISTINA L.01/03/2013

Love it! You will get noticed in a great way. Drives my husband crazy when I wear it. Great think it that not many women wear this and that will help you stand out. I always get asked and tell them I forget ;)

  • MARILYN12/28/2012

This is my favorite perfume. I have been purchasing it for years. I'm disappointed that most of the high-end stores don't carry it anymore. It's very hard to find the body cream and shower gel.

  • BROWN04/04/2012

Best perfume I ever tried. I have been wearing it about 15 years.

  • GLORIA MUNEZERO07/15/2011

But i am very disappointed about the store they do have bad service!!

  • LEE12/14/2010

  • LEE12/14/2010

DEAR GREEKGIRL, I'VE ASKED THE VERY SAME QUESTION WITH REFERENCE TO DONNA KARAN'S CASHMIRE MIST. NO ONE ANSWERED ME EITHER !! BUT I may HAVE FIGURED IT OUT : EAU DE TOILET / EAU DE PARFUM ??? CAN WE TWO GET AN AUTHORATATIVE ANSWER SI VOUS PLAIT ???? LEE

  • H.10/13/2010

Sharrie, I love your description of Boucheron. Love it too!

  • DEIRDRE GASKIN06/13/2010

What is that fragrance that comes with the nude woman bottle?

  • KRISTINA05/17/2010

If you are tiered of smelling the same fragrances on everyone...try this perfume. My husband loves it and my friends always ask me what I am wearing because they love it so much. Make me feel like a princess. Not overpowering, very unique and sexy.

  • MARYANN02/11/2009

I have worn Boucheron for the past 20 years. My DH bought me some before we were married. I get compliments all the time on it. I love it.

  • KAYCEY12/30/2008

I've been wearing this perfume for nearly 20 years. I never tire of it. It is by far the best, most elegant and lovely perfume ever created!

  • LANA10/03/2008

I had a friendin college who had extremely wealthy parents. He bought the pure perfume for me as a gift. The pure perfume is incredible and I seriously felt like royalty when I wore it. A few years later I bought a small bottle of the edp and it didnt have exactly the same dry down. It ended up smelling powdery , which Im not a fan of. Im basing this review on the pure perfume, not the edp

  • IRENE06/30/2008

I was sitting in a window seat on a particularly stuffy, crowded airplane waiting to take-off. The stewardess walked by my row and recognized Boucheron. It was her favorite fragrance--especially that day!

  • MMM02/15/2008

In any purfume the difference between a toilette and a purfume is basically concentration. A real purfume is the purest and comes in small but powerful doses in a rich concentrated oil. EDP is Perfume that's diluted a little bit and has medium concentration of oils. EDT is the least concentrated and is usually the weakest scent.

  • MARGARET01/15/2008

I have been using it since around 1990. No other perfume last as long on me. I live in Southern Ontario and would love to know if it is available around the Hamilton area.

  • SAMANTHA12/27/2007

i got this for christmas this year (2007). when i put some on, my bf said to me "you smell wonderful, very sophisticated". it has long lasting power and very little goes a long way. i spray it on a Q-Tip first then dab it under the ears and over the bellybutton. it's quite overwhealming if you spray it directly on yourself though. i'm quite pleased that i found a beautiful scent that actually has staying power.

  • SORAYA11/08/2007

Years ago I was given a bottle of Justine perfumr. It was lightly floral, slightly citrusy, very modern and sexy. Has anyone seen this perfume recently?

  • RJA08/01/2007

this is definitely a perfume to try before buying. it's the kind of perfume i've been looking for - rich, full, long-lasting, old-fashioned, not sickly-sweet-fruity - perhaps some might even describe it as "old lady", and if that distinguishes it from most of the crap out there today, then fine. the only thing is - it doesn't work on me. it has a lovely scent when i smell it a bit away from my wrist, but beneath it all is a very unpleasant sour/rotten smell that lasted on me for a long time. :-( for those whose body chemistry it works with, i'm jealous! i tried jaipur on once at a dept. store and i think it worked better with my chemistry.

  • GREEKGIRL07/07/2007

Thanks for getting back to me, i think i will go for the edp hopefully i can track it down, ive noticed on some posts that they mention the edp smells a little different, can you smell a difference? let me know, bye for now Helen.

  • NEL06/23/2007

Hi, you wanted to know about Boucheron edt. or edp. Get the edp, I have the edp. it's last much longer,a little goes a long way. Good luck and Happy sniffing Nel.

  • GREEKGIRL06/21/2007

Hi there, could anyone please tell me which they prefer the edt or edp and also their differences, ive only tried edt and its very nice but noticed a lot of women prefer edp, anyone feel free to answer thanks.

  • LISAANDTHEWORD05/21/2007

1st try opening is great! really nice powdery orange floral Classy, comfy, fancy all at once. soft & feminine, a little sweet. potent sillage. Still has nice flavor later on. 2nd try too stinky sweet for me, felt annoying instead of confidant, & the orange I liked went away.

  • JUDI W*04/30/2007

I just sampled this today, and initially, phew...it takes a couple of hours to smell better. At least it's not that "little girl", fruity-candy mess out there now.

  • VEGASPOET04/19/2007

Ladies, if you come to Vegas and wear this perfume, prepare for non-stop attention! This is the perfume to were with that little black dress and the "come and get it" heels! If you want to keep a man's attention, wear this perfume.

  • ISABELLA03/04/2007

i love this perfum it is amazen and whem finish i get mad, because is so hard to find, you can find in harrolds, selfridges , it is my perfum the best one everyone loves that smell and always ask ing about the name i love3 boucheron

  • MARY ALICE03/01/2007

I received my bottle today after sampling this at Macy's last week-end. I love this fragrance and can describe it more comprehensively now that I am actually at the computer while it is drying down. On my skin, it opens with the citrus note followed quckly by the rich floral. I don't detect any bitterness or sharpness: the fragrance is warm and a little (but not too) sweet. It dries to an ambery vanilla that has such depth that as I move my arms I can smell different aspects of it. To my nose this fragrance is not loud, overstated, or age and era-specific. It is warm, comforting and utterly feminine. I don't have any accompanying bath products yet but decided to experiment with the vanilla-scented products I had on hand. Boucheron works well with the new Dove Cream Oil Body Wash in Jasmine/Vanilla. I used the Essence of Beauty (CVS) Body Cream in Walnut with the Boucheron EDP and it was a superb combination as this body cream has a woody vanilla scent. i don't remember if I rated in my previous posts and they aren't yet appearing on the board, so I will rate again. I'd give it 10 stars anyway, so if I've already rated it that works out well!

  • MARY ALICE02/27/2007

Could someone please compare Boucheron to the Jaipur Saphir. I love the Boucheron and the two seem to share many ingredients. Is the Saphir sweeter, longer lasting, more fruity??? I'm especially interested in the long lasting comparison because Boucheron rocks in that department on my skin and I have trouble in this area. Thanks.

  • MARY ALICE, AGAIN02/25/2007

I have been smelling my right arm all day since I tested Boucheron at a highend reatiler this morning. I agree with those few posters who think that this is an '"old woman's fragrance". It is sophisticated and volumptuous. At the same time this perfume is comforting and emotionally evocative. IMO there is no way that an "emotionally-young" person could carry off wearing this complex scent; however, I know several young women with 'old souls' who could wear this perfume beautifully. Personally I am reluctant to place something as intimate as fragrance into "old people" and "young people" categories. My fear is that in doing so, I might sway a reader into missing a product that would add value or enjoyment to her life. I sincerely hope that those of you who find this perfume old fashioned will at least be reminded by it of an older woman you admire or love. Thanks.

  • MARY ALICE02/25/2007

I tried this today in my quest to move away from the florals I have always used. This is a beautiful scent. It reminds me of my Aunt Polly's cedar-lined wardrobe and of all of the wonderful scents there that felt like home, warmth and safety to me. I would not have worn this in my earlier years. I would not have had the sophistication to recognize its timelessness. (I'm only speaking about myself, not about younger women in general.) Today, this is a fragrance that is completely feminine to me with the sexy amber and the comforting vanilla. An additional bonus is that it lasts!

  • PHYLLIS02/14/2007

I have used Boucheron for several years and have also given to my mother as gifts. Recently, I have not been able to find bath powder, which I found so great for that light daytime fragrance. Please let me know if there is any place I can purchase. Thanks Phyllis

  • LORI01/24/2007

Them young gals just don't know how sexy them there mature ladies smell. It is a no harm done smell and as soon as I get the money, This old lady of 42 is going to purchase!

  • ZEKIYE01/19/2007

I am sick of seeing "Old Lady Perfume". There seems to be someone on every single board thinking a perfume is "Old Lady". Ok, we got it. Can you be more specific PLEASE???

  • PERFUME NEWBIE11/28/2006

Nothing spectacular. The dry down was incredibly powdery on my skin. Smelt like grandmother's powder.

  • TWOOD10/30/2006

I have been wearing Boucheron EDP since 1989 when my Finace bought it for me in Atlanta the week before our wedding. I have used it ever since and have had nothing but compliments. "You always smell so Good!!"

  • SEXY KITTEN10/02/2006

the scent of this reminds me of charlie only a little richer...not my style but I can see that this may be appealing for a casual/weekend fragrance

  • ANNEMARIE09/30/2006

I just love some perfume, and detest a whole lot more.I am desperatly trying to wean myself of off Angel,as it is common, and my mum hates it,as it is so strong.I was not sure about boucheron,as I am not keen on some of the ingrediants ie..orange,but can not smell that at all.I love it,its different and smells of wealth, this was from my son.who is now dreading me asking for it for birthdays etc..he could only just afford Angel, bless him.

  • JOYCE09/04/2006

Every time I wear and get many compliments. It is classy and not the least bit "grandma"! Some people do not recognize class when they smell it!

  • DINA08/10/2006

I LIKE IT BETTER THAN ORIGINAL BOUCHERON. EXCELLENT DRY DOWN.CLEAN AND FRESH. NOT CLOYING AND WET LIKE THE OLD ONE.

  • ANGIE08/10/2006

I read all the great reviews on Bucheron. I purchased a mini. 50 oz bottle of EDP. I opened it and took one smell: old lady cheap french perfume. I was expectiong so much more. I even put some on just to see if maybe it would change nicely on me. One hour later, nope: still old lady cheap french perfume is what it still smelled like. My husband smelled it and said the same thing: grandma would smell like that. I am going to sell it on ebay.

  • PAT08/05/2006

I used to wear this and really liked it. The one thing I found with this fragrance is a little bit goes a long way. Be careful not to put too much on because I found it stays with you rather well. I think I may just start wearing it again.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE06/04/2006

I agree with you Nilla! It's very incensey on me too, which is why I tried Boucheron's Eau Legere limited-edition version (see my post here in this message board). I thought Eau Legere would be a lighter, more floraly version of the original Boucheron. Which is it, but to me it's a completely different scent, and is a pure floral. I was hoping for some other notes to blend in and balance off the florals. Boucheron original is a beautiful mysterious scent that becomes very woody on me after a short while. The initial spritz is what I love of Boucheron, and that is what I was hoping Eau Legere would be. No such luck.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE06/04/2006

Well, since I love the regular Boucheron, I thought I'd give the limited-edition Eau Legere a try. Unfortunately, it is not to my liking so much. The description implies that it is the lighter floral notes of Boucheron. But my nose must not be smelling those notes the same way. This fragrance reminds me very much of Tatiana, which to me is nothing like Boucheron's floral notes. Oh well. It's still pretty, just not what I was expecting. I am not a big fan of floral perfumes to begin with, unless they contain some other spicy/woody/musky notes to balance the florals out. This one is a pure floral to me. It does have lasting power which is good. The bottle is very similar to the original Boucheron, and does not contain a lock-down on the sprayer. (Aargh!) The packaging states that it can be worn in the sun. Hmmm. I wear all my perfumes in the sun, and nothing has happened to me yet. I am still living, breathing, whining, etc. I will purposely have to wear Boucheron original in the sun and see what happens to me. Perhaps I will implode, or be picked up by aliens, or something even more interesting. I hope so. My life could use some excitement. Has anyone else tried Eau Legere? Please post.

  • NILLA06/01/2006

went to the perfume shop looking for trouble by boucheron, and tried this scent. so glad i did, because i just love it. i really don't smell much of the tangerine and bitter orange... but the woodsy notes really stand out with my chemistry. (i'm a dark haired woman) this also reminds me a little of church incense, but nobody else seems to think so... i might be crazy. if you enjoy spicy oriental perfumes like i do, try boucheron

  • SHERIDAN05/23/2006

I first discovered this perfume when i was waitressing. I asked this woman what she was wearing because it was the most amazing thing i have ever smelled. She was an older french woman who laughed and said "in her french accent~ my dear, it is boucheron, but you can not wear this since you have blonde hair, you must have dark hair for a fragrance this dark"....i thought, whatever! and laughed and my husband finally bought it at a duty free store for me. It is wonderful but all of my sisters in law started wearing it too! is there anything similar someone can suggest so that i dont smell like the rest of the family? Thanks! PS The first night i wore this out to dinner a man pulled me aside and said I smelled so good he could barely stand it! Watch out!

  • LILIAN AWOR04/13/2006

i really dont like the perfume it smells horrible and first of all it made me have some allergies on my body.

  • MAGGIE MAY01/11/2006

I've been wearing it since it came out in 1988! LOVE IT! I am a middle school teacher & wear it to school! Kids are always asking what it is so they can get it for their moms.... then they come back later & say they can't afford it on their allowance ...lol. Then I tell them how important it is to get an education so they can afford the "important" things in life ~ like Boucheron. Former students come back and ask if I still wear that "rich lady" perfume. Never will anyone think you are wearing a cheap generic drug store fragrance. You can't go wrong with this oldie but goodie!

  • PIA12/22/2005

Hi,thanks for the advice,I purchased a mini of the edp,you are so right on about the edp being much nicer, love it now, thank you!

  • TRACY12/22/2005

I've been wearing this perfume since high school, and it's still my favorite. I always receive compliments while wearing it. Love It!!!

  • DALILA11/23/2005

I have been using Boucheron for at least 10 years. It is my signature fragrance. I get asked by men and women what fragrance I'm wearing, because they have never smelled anything so fabulous. This is one fragrance that can NEVER be overpowering, it is soft, elegant and sophisticated no matter what time of day you wear it.

  • MY SCENT 11/17/2005

After experimenting with so.... many parfums, I found and learned along the way that parfums smell differently for everyone, body cemestry and other scents that you may apply. So one you find the one, and everyone compliments on, that the one for you. LOVE IT, and everyone else LOVES IT around me.

  • M.N.10/20/2005

Pia, if your sample reminds you of Oscar I'm almost sure that you have EDT. Boucheron EDT is a Floral and EDP is Oriental, actually they are quite different fragrances. In my opinion EDP is much better, soft, warm "winter" scent with a depth to it. EDT is a tad too sharp-floral, not very special. I recommend EDP to everyone!

  • MAYA10/17/2005

Boucheron is just pure class, elegance and romance! A totally sensuous scent; the scent of a woman! A woman who is fun, a woman who appreciates something special and enchanting... a woman who believes in the magic of her smile. A woman who is aware of her charms and takes great pleasure in all the delights of all her experiences... Boucheron is intoxicating and very feminine... warm and inviting... Just magical! Boucheron is so worthy of all those special occasions; memorable and important moments in ones life...

  • AIMEE06/25/2005

I did not initially gravitate to this fragrance, but after trying it several times, I've decided that it is very refined and beautiful. Boucheron wins me many compliments from both sexes, and for the record, I am not an "old lady." This is a fragrance to enjoy and appreciate for years to come. I think that sometimes when a fragrance is complex and of such high quality, it is stereotyped as a mature woman's scent when really it is just for women of discriminating taste--and I guess that tends to come with a reasonable amount of maturity.

  • SANDRA06/13/2005

I own this perfume & it is not too bad, it stays on all day. Wear it only in the evening for special ocassions otherwhise it may give you a headache or sick feeling. Not for everyday wear !!

  • KRIS05/30/2005

I use to not be able to tolerate Boucheron. I thought it was heavy and a very mature scent. (I shudder when brazen reviews say "old lady") Anyhow, I purchased the Legere 2005 yesterday and felt so comfortable wearing it that I ran out and purchased the EDP. I am amazed that at one time I thought it was a heavy scent because it immediately just blends with my chemistry and I don't detect much. Anyhow, I think this fragrance just creates a lovely scented aura. I'm so glad that I finally discovered it and I know I will be wearing it often. Also, I would like to add that I wore Trouble EDP and pure parfum this last winter. It is fresh and becomes sweet from the vanilla. It was from wearing Trouble that I became aware of what great products Boucheron puts out. I now realize that this scent isn't really heavy but just beautiful!

  • PIA05/26/2005

I have a mini of this fragrance and it reminds me of Oscar which I have and do not like. This is a little nicer though. I will have to wear for a little while and see how I feel about it, maybe it'll grow on me, hopefully.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE05/03/2005

I like the initial impression, but the heavier, woodier notes seem to predominate after a while, which do not please me as much. Can see why Lisha says "old lady scent." If it would stay in the top and middle notes, I would love it. Alas, the smokier impression is not my favorite. P.S. I see that Boucheron has a new limited-edition called Boucheron Eau Legare, which focuses on the floral facets of the classic Boucheron; they call it fresh, light and radiant. Hmmm, think they might have something there. I'll have to check it out.

  • JLJ03/03/2005

My husband, a cologne expert, has been telling me about this for years; I told him not to buy it for me since he keeps buying me perfumes, and they just sit on the vanity ... I normally prefer vintage perfumes since I think all the new ones smell alike ... well, gals ... this one will will need to be replaced in no time at all!...I just love this scent!...I wear it every day and feel so refreshed all day long!

  • LISHA03/01/2005

LADIES,Please if your 18-35 this is NOT the perfume for you, this stuff seriously smell like old lady perfume, strong and stank, save your$$$$$

  • KATHY ANTUNOVICH02/23/2005

An elegant, sophisticated fragrance in an equally elegant, sophisticated bottle.

  • M02/22/2005

The scent lingers lightly, reminding me of my beautiful woman, my love. This is one of the most pleasing perfumes I have smelled, and definitely drives me wild! I've read some other postings. Smells like a mother? Ha! My mother should smell so good! I love this stuff!

  • D02/11/2005

Sense the first time I tried a sample in the dept store in 1995, I fell in love with it. I walked around the rest of the day just loving this scent - needless to say, I bought some. It is now one of my signature scents.

  • SHARRIE02/01/2005

what happened to the bottle. different. not the same smell i have both because i wanted an xtra one, as its one of myy sig. scents. confused.disappointed.

  • HELCAT01/31/2005

I was most disappointed, the notes sounded great, but on me , it smelt like a ghastly old fashion fragrance, a cloying, overpowing sweet mixed with heavy sour oranges, I have tried a few times to give it a go.No way it is byebye Boucheron

  • CRYSTAL01/24/2005

Bourcheron and Saphir are two very beautiful scents....a confident, strong woman who love life and fashion....

  • MARILEE01/02/2005

this is one that I've sort of developed a liking for over the course of the last year or so - my mother has worn it for years and when she bought me a bottle, both my husband & I didn't like it because it smelled like my mother. However, in the last couple of months, I've persevered with it & I'm really starting to like it - especially after the dry down. It's sharply sweet at the beginning, but dries down (in an hour or so) to much softer - develops into a less sweet, softer, sort of heady, light fragrance, not overpowering at all. I tend to like fresh, clean scents, but I like this one cause it's a little richer without knocking anyone over (like Red Door, Obsession & the like). Definitely one to add to your collection! I think of it as a daytime fragrance when I'm in the mood for something a little more complex...but not sultry.

  • RITA12/16/2004

The night blooming jasmine notes in both scents are exactly alike, although "Lacey Afternoon" is longer lasting & less expensive. Boucheron dries down to nothing. It has the staying power of a faint cologne. And that's unfortunate for the outrageous price.

  • SHARRIE12/16/2004

the queen of the nucherpn family, beautiful, in tune with the rythmn of my heart, passionate

  • SHARRIE12/13/2004

a teardrop of an angel, very passionate, sensual , a blend so romantic

  • M11/27/2004

A very good "base scent" i a perfume wardrobe. Allrounded, discreet but don´t harmless, don´t offend anyone. Perfect for a job interview.

  • TATJANA11/15/2004

Best perfume ! Always receive lots of compliments...sexy, clean and wonderful! Try the powder, soap and lotion, they are all excellent!

  • SUE11/13/2004

I have a gold-swirl refillable container and wondered if Jaipur comes in the refillable glass bottle for this container. I prefer the perfume.

  • ROSE10/27/2004

I was given Bucheron as a birthday gift several years ago. I FELL ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH IT. I went out and purchased some and it didn't smell the same. Are there different fragrances?

  • BLUEHOUR10/15/2004

I would like to know if people prefer the EDP over the EDT, or vice versa. Which draws more compliments? I've worn both, years ago, and I need help making up my mind which one to go with. Thanks!

  • CORINNE09/16/2004

nice but scent did not last. Within a few months(like 3) the smell was nothing but alcohol. Must have been an old bottle.

  • EMMYLOU08/01/2004

My signature fragrance since its introduction. On me, it smells divine and I'm so happy that my chemistry is compatible with this elegant scent.

  • ROSETTA07/14/2004

This is in response to Rhonda(June 21/04). Trouble is one of my favourite new fragrances. I bought the actual parfume, but I'm still using the Eau de Parfume for day to day usage. I find it to be extremely long lasting (my skin is normal to dry), and sometimes the scent still lingers a bit the next day. It is sweet, but not as sweet as Angel/Innocent. It is a warm oriental fragrance with notes of vanilla, sandlewood, and other spices. It remindes me of the scent Krystal-named after Krytal Carrington of the Dynasty series in the '80's. I get compliments all the time when I wear it. It goes well with a sophisticated look. You will definitely be getting your money's worth in the quality of this fragrance.

  • CYNTHIA E.06/29/2004

Boucheron Femme is all that in my opinion. Something about it is compeling, a very intriguing fragrance. Definitely in my top two! Tied with Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood. I also wear Dior Addict and Hermes #24 Faubourg. I would appreciate any response to this ?, "does anyone else find that if they wear the same fragrance everyday they loose the ability to smell it"? That is why I wear several scents rather than one signature fragrance. I used to wear Opium, Chanel #5 but lost their scent in a short time. Is it common with others to loose the scents they are surrounded with daily? What a pity. Thanks for hearing me out! I own dozens of perfumes and Boucheron Femme is devine. It's sophistocated aromatherapy. I love to spray it on my sheets at night!

  • RHONDA06/21/2004

Is the new fragrance, Trouble, long lasting? Is it sweet? Any info. would be helpful because I can not sample it.

  • NEL06/17/2004

Yes, Boucheron is somewhat flowery and sweet, if you don't like it to strong, get the EDT. If you don't like it really strong get the EDT. Because i have the EDP. That is a bit stronger, but last longer on dry skin. Also try the new fragrance of (GIVENCHY) VERY IRRESISTIBLE. You won't be sorry. Good luck, Nel.

  • PRIMADONNA05/20/2004

I like floral, feminine scents with just a touch of sweetness. Does this describe this scent?

  • PRIMADONNA05/20/2004

I received a sample of Trouble, I liked it for the first 10 minutes but after that the scent was so cloying I had to wash it off. It reminds me very much of Obsession.

  • BOUCHERON05/09/2004

Suzanne I recently bought the new fragrance by Boucheron, Trouble and I loved it too. I would like to get other's comments on it.

  • LISA05/04/2004

Best perfume ! Always receive lots of compliments...sexy, clean and wonderful! Try the powder, soap and lotion, they are all excellent!

  • SUZANNE04/29/2004

It is a mystery to me why this doesn't smell just wonderful on me - after all, it has many of my favorite perfume notes - orange blossom, amber, sandalwood and vanilla - yet on me it smells like watered-down.....just nothing. Same with the Jaiphur Safir. I used the body lotion and applied the EDT to all the usual areas, and honestly, I couldn't smell ANYTHING on myself! And it's not my nose, because I can smell other subtle fragrances just fine. HOWEVER - just yesterday I bought Boucheron's very newest fragrance, Trouble. Finally, a Boucheron fragrance for me! Starts out with lovely lively citrus, softens into anis and vanilla, and fianlly deepens into sweet woods. VERY NICE. And the bottle is AB FAB - a square, dark red glass bottle with faceted edges, a gold lid with a green-eyed gold snake twining around it, and circle of dark red enamel on the very top, with the boucheron B glowing through.

  • NEL04/25/2004

This is an alluring and sexy fragrance, i would recomment it to any women that wants to feel sexy and beautifull.

  • LULU04/11/2004

This is a fragrance worth savouring. It is strong yet romantic, independent yet with the right chemistry, full of flight. I own both the perfume and the eau de parfume spray and I have got to say that the perfume lasts and lasts and is just amazing. This is a romantic sexy statement, not for every woman but for someone fortunate enough to wear it, watch out!

  • STACI03/30/2004

This has been my favorite perfume since it's debut back in the 80's. Rich, delicate scent. A little bit goes a long way. You never need much of a quality perfume and Boucheron proves that.

  • PAULINA03/19/2004

My mother loves it, I don´t like it. I guess it´s to flowery for me. I would recommend it to women who want a elegant and flowery scent.

  • CAROLYN B01/03/2004

I absolutley love this fragrance. It is so elegant smelling, it makes me feel pretty and special. My husband bought me some Boucheron for Christmas.

  • CARLA12/30/2003

    Not very impressed

  • DONNETTA12/26/2003

Have gotten asked about this then any other of my perfumes... Love the smell and it stays on all day or night.

  • BARBARA12/11/2003

I wore it for my boyfriend for the first time last night and it drove him wild! heh heh heh

  • JESSIE12/10/2003

The best you can buy. I have never had anything finer. My husband thinks it is really sexy! And I love it too.

  • ACHUNGO11/17/2003

I love it.... I wear it all the time and I am always stopped by strangers to ask me what it is.... 100% sensual.

  • HEATHER10/24/2003

Be selective when you wear this.It does something to me.Instant sex drive!! Off the chart.

  • KYSAI10/18/2003

Yes, I own that many fragrances, but this one was definately worth the 150dls. I spent on the parfum. It's like putting on the finest of silk that caresesses your skin with every step you take. If you don't want to get stopped on the street by perfect strangers of both sexes, don't wear it, because it will invariably happen every time you wear this most exquisite scent. I absolutely love it!!!

  • KAHLAN10/14/2003

"Fragrant in a womanly way"... And that's the absolute truth, dead on perfect way to describe this.

  • ABIGAIL10/14/2003

Nothing offensive here, but after drying, it's a slightly powdery floral with mostly the jasmine coming through on me. I tried the EDP less than an hour ago and can barely detect it now. Disappointing, because I love the Boucheron for men.

  • BMARIE09/12/2003

I can't think of anything bad to say about it. A beautiful & feminine fragrance.

  • EDIE09/03/2003

I love this fragrance. I've been wearing it for several months, and I haven't grown tired of it. I receive compliments practically every time I wear it.

  • KRISTA07/25/2003

I've worn this fragrance for many years. Everytime I wear it the comments never end!

  • CAROLE06/26/2003

I have worn Boucheron for many years and always receive compliments on the fragrance. It is simply the best!

  • CECELIA RASILE06/13/2003

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS PERFUME. IF I RUN OUT OF THIS THE ONLY THING THAT I'LL WEAR IN IT'S PLACE IS CHANEL No.5. I LOVE THE HEADY EXOTIC SCENT.

  • SNDRA06/08/2003

I have both boucheron and initial but unfortunatelly boucheron doesn't last. I put it on one evening and asked my friends how I smelled and they couldn't smell anything. On the other hand initial has OK lasting power. Are these two different types so maybe my body chemistry doesn't respond well to boucheron? I have EDT but doubt EDP would make big difference. Any advice?

  • SALI05/15/2003

What a beautiful perfume. I'd come back and give it 10 stars if I could. I think someone once called this "sex-in-a-bottle" on a posting board, and I wondered about that but now my own husband agrees--he says it's sweet, sexy, wouldn't call it perfumey but fragrant in a womanly way. I am so enamoured by Boucheron that it's fast becoming my signature. I dream of the pure parfum for Christmas.

  • SALI04/27/2003

EDP (eau de parfum) is stronger than EDT (eau de toilette) of the same fragrance. The strongest concentration is parfum, which is usually the best quality as well. Since I'm here, my thoughts on Boucheron: it's bombshell. It's a bit much for daytime or warm weather but it sparkles at parties and warms up a cool night. The EDT in this fragrance is pretty strong. I'd call this an opulent, ambery white floral-spicy with vanillic base. .

  • LORI04/26/2003

I've had many men stop to ask what fragance I'm wearing. Thanks BOUCHERON! (My girlfriends love it too).

  • DICK MAILE04/06/2003

What is the difference between EDP and EDT?

  • ZEUS02/12/2003

    the best

  • SANDY02/07/2003

not worth the money it smells like burnt wood

  • ARLEEN 02/05/2003

Boucheron is indeed one of my favorite fragrances. I launched it at Bloomingdale's in 1990. However, for the amount of money it costs, it should last all day and it does not. You need to have the body cream with it, not to be confused with the body lotion. I used to get it for free and I could bathe in it, but I am not employed at Bloomies any longer and If I want it, I have to pay a lot of money for it.

  • LLOZ02/03/2003

This scent is very alluring and different. It is too heavy for me to wear, but I do enjoy it on someone else. If you like the heavier fragrances please use this over, Cinnabar, Shalimar, White Diamonds, Estee Lauder products and the like. This one is much more sophisticated.

  • DEVIN02/01/2003

That's what this smells like. It's very classy, elegant, and just downright SEXY. It's not cheap or trashy smelling though, it would be analogous to Victoria's Secret as opposed to Frederick's Hollywood. Great choice for the lady who likes to dress up. If I'm not mistaken, this was Princess Grace's signature scent, and she was an elegant and classy woman who showed exceptional taste. Just fabulous.

  • LIANE01/05/2003

This is one of the first perfumes I loved right away -- usually, I have to wear them a few times and get used to the scent. Boucheron seems to work really well with my chemistry and I love the barely noteable citrus in the top note and how it just melts down to the sandalwood and vanilla base -- not too citrusy and not too sweet. Love this!!

  • CHITOWNDIVAUS01/02/2003

I know this is an "old lady" scent, but not all old ladies reek. The one's that wear this don't!!! I love this scent!!

  • JIM TAYLOR12/23/2002

FORGOT TO SAY IN MY LAST MESSAGE THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE MEN'S LINE OF BOUCHERON

  • JIM TAYLOR12/23/2002

THIS IS SO HOT, EVERYTIME I SPLASH THIS ON EVERYONE I COME IN CONTACT WITH WANTS TO KNOW WHAT I AM WEARING... I HAVE BEEN BUYING BOUCHERON FOR YEARS AND WOULDN'T BUT ANYTHING ELSE.. PLUS THE AROMA LAST FOR HOURS...

  • KARGIRL12/12/2002

    wonderfully elegant

  • LILLYMARIEROSE12/08/2002

Best perfume I've ever used. I have even had men take me to the perfume counter, and help them purchase it for their wives, because they liked it so well on me.

  • MAYA11/22/2002

Now that's one I had never heard before!!! O.K.Maybe I'm getting too old,or maybe all vegetarians like me are big wimps, deep down inside, but it will be a cold day in hell before I decide to taste perfume!Nope,I will stick to the good old try-it-on method and save my taste buds for the chocolate...Thanks for the tip, though,my sisters and I were laughing our heads off!

  • PAULETTE11/11/2002

There's no telling why fragrances work on some people & not on others. I bought Gucci Rush & liked it in the store. But when I got home & put it on, it literally made me ill. Gave me a headache & turned my stomach. Go figure! Someone told me the other day that the way to determine whether a perfume will work with your chemistry is to taste it! Really! Have a glass of water handy & then take a taste of the perfume. If it tastes like soap (ick!), it will be a good choice. If it tastes like vinegar (ick, ick!!), take a pass on it! Paulette Paulette

  • PAULETTE11/11/2002

I find your reaction to this fragrance very amusing! When I first tested it at the store, the clerk told me it was Princess Di's favorite scent. Well, that sent me running away! Really, who wants to smell like a blond bimbo??? LOL!!! However, the fragrance lingered on my wrist & I loved it. Had to have it! I have had men varying in age from mid 20's & up approach me to tell me how much they love my perfume. I got the impression from your post that you are somewhat young...a teenager perhaps?? Paulette

  • JAMES11/08/2002

The first time I've ever stopped a woman to ask her the name of her fragrance...she wrote the name on her napkin {Boucheron}...so purely seductive...it commands romantic attention like nothing I've ever experienced!

  • SANDRA10/30/2002

It is a boring, heady scent, for (very) old ladies maybe (it is only a figure, of course, I don't want to offend anyone, even old ladies like nice scents!). Very cloying, it gives me a headache. General impression: very, very, very boring!!!!!

  • HOOLAGIRL10/23/2002

    wonderfully, soft, sweet fragrance!!

  • SUSAN10/08/2002

I just bought the EDT. I have to say that it is a nice change from the trend of overly sweet frangrance that are flooding the market. I am in my late 20's the believe this is still a modern, classy and hip perfume.

  • MAYA10/02/2002

My sisters and I so wanted to love this one...And all three of us are incompatible with it.But sprayed on bed sheets or even clothing, where it doesn't come in direct contact with the skin, it really is quite nice.

  • BETHANY09/27/2002

Soft, creamy, very feminine, soft orangey smell ( I never knew orange could smell so nice :-) -lovely powdery dry down. Good staying power. Another winner from Boucheron!

  • NIKKI09/21/2002

My mother, who doesn't particularly like perfume smelled this one recently and went nuts for it, LOL! It smelled rich and elegant and I could tell that it would be wise to put it on sparingly so as not to overwhelm. I myself would wear this scent for special/romantic occasions.

  • APHRAEL09/05/2002

As much as I love Saphir,I cannot stomach this one.I find it flat, cloying and boring.

  • ALLISON08/28/2002

One of my favorite teachers wore this one. I had to ask 'cause she smelled so good. She said it was Boucheron. This is for older women, not very young ones, but it is very good anyway. I would wear definitely wear this if I were an older woman. I may get this for my mom for her birthday.

  • MADELINE07/31/2002

This perfume smelled like "old lady" perfume on me. Odd, considering that perfumes with vanilla and warm notes tend to work well with my chemistry. It absolutley smelled bad in the bottle and on my skin.

  • JUSTINE07/26/2002

    Wonderful scent. Sensual and beautiful.

  • CRISTINA07/12/2002

I am a person who tried so far almost everything from the fragrance market ,I wanted something sensual not something that everybody calls that seems to be who knows what, something else,i finally found the perfect scent for myself,im so happy1

  • MAGGIEMAE05/19/2002

I can't stand Oscar, but love Boucheron. Guess scents smell different on different people. Boucheron is a classic for me.

  • LOLA05/18/2002

i discovered something interesting about this one:on my skin,it's just so-so...but on my bed sheets,WOW!!!go figure...

  • LILLIE05/04/2002

This fragrance ranks with Arpege and Chanel #5, but it IS a bit "louder"...only a drop or mist the air and then "walk into it"...it LASTS...and I get compliments EVERYTIME I wear it...this is a CLASSIC.

  • ELISHA05/01/2002

    It 10 times better

  • CJ04/29/2002

nice if you like Oscar de la Renta, it is similar

  • PAULYN04/17/2002

i work with doctors and i've never received more compliment with this scent than anything else

  • CARLA04/01/2002

Personally I find the Boucheron perfumes too overpowering, very strong.

  • MARIE03/21/2002

I love to have men ask me what fragrance I have on. I was told it was like "sex in a bottle"!!!! So I know that men like it.

  • NICOLE03/13/2002

Elegant smell that I used to love many years ago but not anymore. My nose changed, I suppose. I find it with "no surprise", just a plain smell but still very refined. I now get tired of it.

  • ASCHATAN03/08/2002

My mom bought this, but it gave her and me a real headache, there's something in it... otherwise it is quite nice. I would not have bought it, though, even without the headache.

  • MAGGIEMAE02/17/2002

Loved this fragrance from the first spray I smelled at N-M in S.F. My hub wears Jaipur so we're a Boucheron family. (Cookie, your hub's comment is a hoot!)

  • SHANTELLE02/12/2002

A wonderful, soft, elegant fragrance. Perfect for evening wear. You will love it, and so will your man!

  • TARRAS01/27/2002

Only women with class and fine taste wear Boucheron. It's stunning and makes a statement!

  • SATOKO01/21/2002

I bought my first bottle at Bloomingdales when it first came out, and I've loved it since. I was 19 then, and it was my "woman's perfume". It's voluptuous, sweet-just a little spicy-smooth and feminine, and the hint of vanilla in the base is not too much. A grand floral!

  • COOKIE12/29/2001

This is a wonderful smell - I just have to share this because I thought it was hysterical. The first time I wore it my hubby asked me what it was called because he said it should be called "Eau de Boner". Very sexy!

  • TATIANA12/27/2001

No, this one is called Boucheron.

  • DONNA BEER12/20/2001

    Is this Boucheron Saphire?

  • LIZ11/16/2001

I have been wearing this since it came out. I am a huge fan of all Boucheron fragrances, but this one and Initial, along with the men't Jaipur are my favorites. This smells like money. You can't go wrong.

  • RON GRIMME09/24/2001

Hi ladies: My wife has used many! But not in the last 10 years at least. I find it to be a warm SEXXXyyy overwleming sent that drives me up a wall. Noticed By males and females everywhere we go. If it is a time for a gift, Its gonna be Boucheron too. More than worth it at the better stores. Now that I know about this price I AM IN HEAVEN and I assure you, she will be my angel that will say my name...

  • VIKI09/17/2001

I don't like it. Yes, it is kind of elegant, but without "chic". It's boring. Maybe OK for woman over 70. I can imagine my grandmother to wear it.

  • KEISHA08/22/2001

The first time I tried Boucheron was in 1985 and fell in love. Boucheron is a must have!!

  • JOANNE07/24/2001

Wonderful -- warm, sweet, sexy but not too blatant or overpowering

  • DANA07/20/2001

I sprayed Boucheon on at my desk at work and 3 men came up to me from there desk and asked me what that wonderful aroma was. I told them. They really liked it.

  • FRANCESCA05/05/2001

I bought a bottle of Boucheron for a colleague who loves it. Everytime I'd pass her, I'd comment on how wonderful her fragrance was, and she would laugh and say, "Well, good because that's the one you gave me!" So I broke down and bought a bottle for myself. It's as great on me as it is on her.

  • LYNN04/18/2001

I have been buying and wearing Boucheron for about a year and it is elegant, feminine, and beautiful. I have worn Sung, Lauren, Romance, Summer Hill, and many other perfumes over the past twenty years but this is the first one my Husband, friends, and mother have all raved over and wanted to know what it was. Be brave and try it!

  • RUTH M.03/29/2001

I have been wearing Boucheron for over 10 years. I get compliments everyday! I have priced Boucheron while traveling in Italy, Mexico and all over the US and Perfume Emporium.com has the best prices by far I have ever seen!

  • TATIANA03/27/2001

Sensual warm floriental, unusual exotic and elegant scent, long lasting, with musky powdery drydown. For me is the best.
