my boyfriend, who is from italy, has very good taste in colognes, and he was lamenting how he couldnt purchase this in any U.S. store in his area of philadelphia...I found it online easily (believe it or not, he does not have a computer) and he was THRILLED when I presented it to him as a gift...this smells super sexy on him, makes me lust for him even more :)~

Okay I'm already in a desperate mode here looking for that perfect evening cologne with an edgy, dark, and sensuous feel. Is Cavalli Black anything like the name suggests or just one of many colognes that like to just relate to the word but lacking the character. How does it relate to something like, let's say Armani Code. (which I don't particularly class as a cologne high in refinement or sophistication) Just got a feeling Cavalli could deliver here with Cavalli Black. your take on this new 'Black' fellas??

Marius has no taste, this cologne is one of the best I've owned, in over 35 years as a person who has at any given time, 25+ bottles of cologne in my collection. Buy it guys, I promise you won't regret it.

don't believe the inflated reviews here...as I unfortunately did. At least I was lucky enough to find it at a clearance price, which I guess could have been a hint as to the quality of this fragrance, which to me is quite vile indeed. Please, if you are that curious about it, make sure you sample it first, so you won't be too dissappointed...as I was...

For me this one is a little heavy on the spice and light on the lemon. VERY similar to the Hummer scents. Cheers.

Finally sampled and decided to pick up a small bottle of this rather pricy but highly sensual and masculine stuff. Overall it's a spicy, lemony and woody hit from famed fashion guru Cavalli and you definitely don't smell it out there much and I am constantly questioned what the mysterious and manly scent I'm wearing is.

Outstanding spicy-lemony GQ evening frag is superbly sensual and sophisticated stuff and brings me endless compliments from all.

Bold, masculine and sophisticated 1st-timer from famed RC is spicy and lemony and grabs plenty enough positive attention from just about anyone in the evenings.

This scent, I think is only for evening wear.. When I wear it everybody asks me what fragrance am I using.The girls love it!

Sexy and GQ spicy/lemony evening scent still remains a sleeper for the time being, still continues to hold up in value at any store, but could use a little more longevity.

I was expecting to smell some sweet, weird Yves Saint Laurent nightmare judging by the comments that were posted. But it is okay. I wouldn't buy it. Smells like something that came out back in the day.

I just chosed Essenza di Zegna instead of Cavalli Man. Zegna is the spicy one, Cavalli is the little bit sweet one. In my opinion you must be over 30 to use Cavalli Man, and i'm not.

Excellent and sophisticated GQ hit from Mr. Cavalli seems more appropriate for the evenings but could possibly be worn to certain occasions in the day. Spicy, woody and VERY sexy aroma can do battle with the cream of the crop colognes from Armani, Cole, Chanel, Cartier............you know them all.

This sensually powering evening fragrance is direct competition for Chanel, Kenneth Cole, obviously Giorgio Armani, Cartier, some of Giorgio Beverly Hills greats, Salvatore Ferragamo, Mont Blanc and couple of other individual colognes such as Vera Wang and the new L'Instant de Guerlain. Well worth it's healthy price tag and if you are strictly for the GQ-sophisticated-clean cut category then this is definitely for you!

I know this cologne got rave reviews, but I agree with Marius. When I spray it on, for the first 30 seconds, the scent is very powerful, but after about 5 minutes or so, you can hardly even smell it. I think it was because I bought a tester bottle of this and the tester probably has a lower concentration than the real thing. I'm curious, Marius, did you also buy the tester? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

My new favorite on him!!! Guys you have to try this. It smells incredible. I am so glad we went out on the lim and purchased this one without even testing it first - not the smartest idea I know. But it totally paid off. He smells so yummy!!! Oh and the fragrance wears awesome too. Even after he comes home from work I can still smell it on him... He loves it! DY-NO-MITE.this is it. sexy,a little floraly and a lotta spice. the opening smells similiar to iceberg twice but then the spice kicks in. no not as spicy as romance by R.L. but i would call this musky spice, if that makes sense. a future purchase but i must differentiate between z zegna and basi homme which just about everyone says are the top spicy scents.

This cologne is a definite must!! It smells so unique however it has a catching scent that will last.

It's the best parts of being a guy, in a bottle. chic, masculine, subtle, sexual, rugged, and professional. this is by far my favorite fragrance right now. It can be casual or formal, very clean, and tasteful. If you like this also check out L'eaupar Kenzo, Very clean and fresh, but unique. (ginger, citrus, a little patchoulie, and fresh herbs.) good if you like a very subtle fragrance.

This cologne sucks big time. If you want to have one cologne from this man, i will really recommend to buy "Just Cavalli for Him"

I am a woman and I perfer the cavalli man to the cavalli woman. I actually wear the men's cologne, and the womans body cream together,and everybody asks me what Iam wearing, and it drives my man wild!

This cologne is great. It is long lasting and very elegant. If you want the ladies to associate with you just wear this one and walk pass them. In addition to that, here's my basic line up. For the weekend: kenneth cole (black), for a romantic date: Salvatore Ferragamo (Subtil), and for a tuxedo event: Cavalli Man!!!

Smelled this one at a Holt Renfrew in Canada. The lady told us it was a very hot fragrance at the moment but as people walked away with the spray card none of them appeared to like it very much. Neither did I it was just an average scent one that really doesn't deserve the name Roberto Cavalli on it. I would suggest this fragrance only to someone that wants to say they wear Roberto Cavalli. I do however love the bottle ecspecially the wones one!

cavalli man has got to be one of the greatest mens colognes of all time its full of bergamot too making it totally romantic cologne i almost got jumped by two females wearing this stuff get the point this is true lady killing material go get it dudes peace.

I've actually "sampled" this awesome scent about 4 months earlier when I received a sample of it with a cologne order in the mail. It does have some good hints of spice in it. I've never actually worn it in public yet to determine if the women will love it in which case I'm sure they will. With it's high price, I'll consider picking up an entry level bottle. YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY CAVALLI MAN(REFER BACK TO MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS ON IT). IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD OF IT, IT JUST CAME OUT A FEW MONTHS AGO AND IT IS NOT VERY WIDELY KNOWN YET. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU COME ACROSS IT. PEACE.

When I wear Cavalli I find I can't stop smelling myself. I want to do things to me that noone's ever done before. This is one of the best colognes ever! If you've never tried it you might want to before blindly buying it because if you're a manly man it might be a bit too fem for you. It's a definite must if you like Jean Paul's Le Male but want a cologne on a lesser known scale.

Marius, you couldn't be more wrong.This scent lasts all day and gets nothing but compliments. Women love it. Maybe you should stop buying cheap soap.

In my opinion this is one of the best colognes out there. I personally prefer Cavalli Man to Aqua Di.
