Excellent distinctive classy essence, i started to like it more than my dunhill, pleasant day essence and a killer on the skin at night ... can't think of many aftershaves like this except of fendi life essence

This is my first personally-bought-from-the-store perfume, a year ago. Yes, i'm young, 22 exactly and i think this perfume represents me: it's CLEAN, modern, misterious, refined... it's the definition of high class. So if you have a "neat" car and a beautiful girl that you want to impress with your personality as well, beside your wealth, this is the perfect perfume to melt her soul. Number 1 in my list. And by the way - it's true, i lasts 2-4 hours, or well, my nose can't "detect" after that period of time. And, last but not least, i was glad to hear my friends didn't know this fragrance, cos' they only know like everyone else CK, BVL, Paco Rab., Armani, Carolina Herrera...

better than Z, much more subtlety and depth, also definitely an adult scent, 30's and over...

Yeah, i hear ya man. I too went to victorias secret and tried it on with the chix all over me. I also tried it on other parts of my body in the changing rooms and that quickly got , um, consumed by the female clientele at the store. heheh. naughty me!

Depends on what you favor.............aquas, sweet, clean, GQ, woody, spicy, floral, etc. If there are any frags out there that I've reviewed "good" or better that sound appetizing to you, then post back and let me know. Take care

Ho-hum. Pleasant but forgettable, esp with its, to put it kindly, short longevity. Try Rocabar by Hermes if you like this stuff, or one of the lighter Creeds.

This one is the ultimate perfume! It's the number one, ask all my...GFs ;) They...envy it. After me hehehe. Guys, this will make JeanPaulGaultier be like an Axe-spray ! Haha ownage Essenza di Zegna! I love it, do you?

This stuff is great, sprayed some on my wrist, went to Victoria Secrets and had three women smell the difference. They swooned when they smelled the Z!!! Very nice, sophisticated, summer/spring scent. Not woody, more sporty. Trying to find it online instead of the mall for cheaper prices is the difficult part.

Power. Masculine. Sophisticated. Business. Casual. Anything, but i prefer it in summer or in spring. Especially in the night by the sea under the moon in summer. But i repeat excellent choise!

I havent tried this scent but I tried the Zegna Z, it has no staying power. I mean, after I applied it, after 20-45 minutes, it was gone.... I couldn't smell it at all. Based on that, I don't think I would like this. heh. I did like the smell then it went to a stinky smell then bam,, no more smell... I guess that IS a good thing.

gotta sample of this awhile back and lets just say it's here now and where did it go.. nice scent but varvatosey with it's subtleness.. i spray varvatos on skin and clothes 2 make it linger and i imagine u would have to do the same with this. honestly i like the scent but can't give it a fair rating

The smell of nature. But the weakness of this fragrance is too soft.But I like the scent.It's an expensive kind of scent

This is one cologne that has such a classy impression (at least on me). Although I categorize this as a fresh fragrance, but it has some distinct smell that lingers differently from those other fresh fragrances. I also owned the Zegna Z. It's also an amazing fragrance. It's indeed more sporty, but I found that it suits me in many occasions as well. Both fragrances last long.

I'm curious to hear what people have to say about this one, which does not yet seem to be available for review in this forum. I tried it out recently, and it has some of the same top notes as Essenza di Zegna. The drydown is a bit different, however. Less woody. Still, it blows away most of the other colognes out there.

awesome smell ! similar to aqua d gio, but better, very sensual, masculine, subtle and very masculine, really great smell...

I TRIED IT JUST THE NEW "Z" BY ZEGNA AND IT SMELLS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO ECHO BY DAVIDOFF. IT'S LIGHTER COMPARED TO ECHO, PROBABLY NOT AS LONG-LASTING. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU UNTIL YOU SMELL IT. TAKE CARE

The original Essenza di Zegna is my favorite scent. But I have dry skin, so it only lasts about two to three hours, which is a disappointment. I thought there might be more base notes in the "Wengue wood" limited edition, so I gave it a try at a Sephora store last night. I was right. It lasted for a significantly longer period of time than the original, and has a woodier scent. This intense version is now my new favorite. Zegna is not even advertising this version on their website (www.zegna.com), so I'm wondering if available stock is all that is left. I hope not.

i have been waiting to check the new zegna fragance called "Z" its seems that is sport, fresh smell.. anyone know it ?? thanks

Very pleasant woodsy and citrus tones. Makes for good all around cologne at office or night out. Women really love it also !! Not overpowering like a lot of other colognes. Give it a try. One of my favorites.

It's smells nice it is subtle and light. Maybe a lil too lite but it is a very pleasant scent. It's a casual scent that I would recommend if you like italian elegance and subtlety.

This is a strong scent that lasts all day. Sort of reminds me a little of Boss Elements but better. At first it may seem a little strong but after about 30 minutes it really hits its stride.

As an alternative to "Eau du Tsar," a fragrance that many of my female friends comment on, "Essenza" is a must. The high note cardomen seems unique, and the scent settles down to a light aroma that lingers most of the day.

This scent is soooo clean! Not overpowering, subtle and refined. My husband smells so good :)

This is the the most sexy...manly scent ever. If you want the ladies crawling all over you...splash some of this stuff on. The girls in my office all love it too!

This is a good fragrance and a real classic but not one to really get you jumping!!!Girls wont scream with extasy smelling this on a guy ( like they would for JPG Le Male or Lanvin's Vetyver). But a nice classic nevertheless...

FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE NAME OF THIS "EXTREME" VERSION IS ESSENZA DI ZEGNA INTENSE. I DO AGREE WITH W.B. AS FAR AS THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THESE TWO. THE NEWER VERSION DOES SEEM A LITTLE BITTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. SOMETIMES LESS IS MORE AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. ANYWAY, TAKE CARE, FELLOW COLOGNE MASTERS.

IN FACT, I JUST SAMPLED THE "EXTREME" VERSION OF THIS AND I WASN'T REALLY ALL THAT IMPRESSED WITH IT. THE ORIGINAL VERSION IS MORE CITRUSY AND SENSUOUS COMPARED TO THE NEWER ONE, WHICH IS MORE WOODSY AND BITTER IN MY OPINION. IN OTHER WORDS, I WOULD STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL. YOU MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION OF IT SO LET ME KNOW WHENEVER YOU COME ACROSS IT. YOU CAN FIND IT AT ANY SEPHORA'S NEAR YOU. HOLLER BACK.

Don't know if you're aware that there's a limited edition "extreme" version available for this product which I've heard is even better. The bottle is basically the same except the base and cap of the bottle is made of wood from African trees. Sample it if either one of you finds it and let me know what you think.

It's a classic scent with a contemporty twist. 50 years from now I can see this fragrance still being a staple for a men's fragrance wardrobe. It has an earthy, woody aura to it, with spicy understones. Buy this for your man and spritz it on him. It will drive you absolutely WILD!
