If you love this perfume as much as I do, and want a longer lasting scent with more complexity.. Try Rouge Royal! I thought they smelled the same when I smelt this Escada. The Rouge Royal is more complex, stronger, and much longer lasting of a scent. Lemme know your thoughts if you get a whiff or the RR! It's a keeper =)

this thing smelled like heaven then when i went to the mall they didnt sell it anymore so i just got the sunset heat one which smells good too!

i just bought this purfume and i love it :) its my favorite compared to all of the escada ones!

probably the best perfume.. i was so pissed when i found out they stopped making it! so i stocked up and have enough to last me for the next 4 years!!

I have fallen in love with this one the minute I sprayed it on....And I ended up buying 5 100ml bottles....c",)......Can't get enough of it!

This is an update from my last post. It turns out that I only disliked my co-worker and I blamed it on the perfume. She took a bath in it, plus her attitude made me associate negative things with this scent. It turns out that I Love it! It smells like sweet pineapples mixed w/ ambers and musks. Lasting power is all day. The bottle is so cute and bright which I love as well. I'd definitily buy this one again, here's to second chances!

Do you know that they have the mini-perfumes of Ibiza Hippie, Island Kiss, and a few others that smell the same? My sister is in love with them all, and can actually tell the difference in between them. I can't though...they're sweet, and they all give me a headache! What's worse? My sister had to spray those scents over six times just so she can get a scent!

I Loved the scent in the store!! But it takes like 5 sprays to be able to really smell it on you, and it goes away very quickly. Kinda disappointed with this one.

My sister and I share a room. She sprays Escada Rockin' Rio when she's ready to go out, and when she opens the bedroom door, you can smell this perfume all over the house. She CLAIMS that she didn't spray much, but I don't believe her. I like the smell, but I don't like the headache it gives me.

gosh, I started buying these Escada perfumes about three yrs ago. I've had Ibiza Hippie, Island Kiss and now Rockin' Rio. I'm having such a hard time trying to decide which one I like the most! *lol* now I'm planning to buy Pacific Paradise too, that is when I run out of the Rockin' perfume :) The other day at the beauty shop I saw this small box of about four or five of these Escada perfumes, which also featured the Pacific and the three other I named. so... that could also be a choice. :P

woww..! rock in rio ROCKS..! i thinck is the best fragances for any person..! fruit and flowerss delicious..!

know if this perfume has been discontinued..i recieved this fragrence last summer and absalutly LOOve it but my mall no longer has it.

Ok soo to all of the Esacada lovers this is the best perfume ever!!! Some say that it doesn't last all day long... but trust me it does! It is def worth the money!!!

i've come back to this one since my first post last may, and i've had the chance to detect more complexity to this than i first thought. first blast of cranberry-like sweetness... fruits and flowers... delicious. it dries down to a very beautiful, very young, ralph-like scent...reminds me of my older sister because she used to use ralph ALL of the time. very nice.

I luv the scent...its great...i'vee bought it twice...and its definetely my cup of tea!..

My friend has it and I'm gonna buy it ! It's so sexy scent and you'll remember it forever!

A very fresh, fruity scent...great for younger women like myself who are looking for a nice clean everyday perfume. Try it over the body lotion if you are concerned about it fading, makes a big difference. I definitely give it two thumbs up!

I just received this beautiful fragrance as a gift and I cannot say enough about how wonderful it smells on me......sweet and young. I've gotten numerous compliments from friends and co-workers as well. I love it, love it, love it!!

Got the whole set of escada rockin rio for a birthday gift and its absolutely scent-sational...Fruity, sweet, lovely. Youth and beauty personified. Plus I even love the pretty tote bag that i got with it..

well i bought it and smells like fresh mango!!! sweet.. and the smell actually last long on my skin.. diffenrent from other people comments.. probably i forgot to shake it....

so i got a smaller bottle of escada at the end of the summer and i loved it sooo much and no one else had it, i got tons of complements etc. Then when i ran out i went to the mall and they stoped selling it. I was so sad i almost cried lol. So i bought some Ralph by Ralph Lauren instead. Acually it smells alot like Rocken rio except not as fruity but back when i wore the escada ppl alway would say "are you wearing ralph..". Its not Rocken rio but i do acually like it just as much.

OMG i love this sent i have been looking for the right sent for a very long time and right when i smelled Rockin Rio i knew it was perfect for me. ITs sweet, fruity, and girly but not over powering at all i absolutly love it.

I love it...men at work tell me it smells so delicious. Staying power isnt all that great though...it fades within a few hours.

this is my favorite smell in the entire world. i got a small bottle 2 months ago and its already almost gone. every one compliments me and says how hot it smells and it smells like a cross between paris hilton and ralph lauren only everyone does'nt wear this purfume so you don't smell like everyone else. im sooo sad that they are going to stop making it i finally found my signiature smell and they take it away from me.

I find this scent to be strong and too sweet, like something that would give a headache to anyone who smelled it... I'm kind of disappointed in the last perfumes Escada has released... what ever happened to the floral, clean notes that used to be Escada's trademark? I really miss Jardin de Soleil, with it's summery, fresh scent... The last of the Escada fragrances I liked, was Lily Chic... the ones released afterwards were all too strong, excessively sweet and really overpowering... Too bad!

Too sweet and fruity for my taste. A woman I work with wears it, and I have to wonder why anyone would want to smell like a pina colada.

I purchased this loving the scent, but I have to agree with others. Scent does not last at all. I even tried spraying a lot of it, but that didn't work either. Alot to pay for a pretty smelling water.

I WON'T LIE, IT DOES SMELL PRETTY CUTE...BUT TO WASTE SO MUCH MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT LASTS AT MOST 15 MINUTES IS NOT WORTH IT...I MIGHT AS WELL GET BODY SPRAY THAT SMELLS SIMILAR TO IT...IT'LL PROBABLY LAST LONGER THAN THIS

Just got this about a month ago, and it's already half-gone! I've been wearing it constantly. I disagree with Karena, who says this is like, but inferior to Island Kiss. Island Kiss is DEFINITELY not my style-- pineapply in a VERY acidic way. Island Kiss stinks by comparison! Oh, and by the way, everyone else loves it, too!!! My husband, all my friends... everyone who gives me a hug asks what I'm wearing. But it's my secret!

Love the fruity scent, not overpowering, it's not a perfume, so, it doesn't last very long at all on me. Would be great if it was perfume not eau de toilette.

My daughters love this one,they're 2 and 5*haha*Do I need to say anything more about it? Actualli it is good,fresh and all that, but perhaps if youlike something more longlasting and sophisticated you should pick another one.....I think I will let my girls use Rockin' Rio from now on:-)

It smells very interesting and sweet when you first spray it on with the different fruit notes. Then it goes flat quickly and all you can smell is the sugary part. It gets boring too fast. Think holiday sugar cookies. I was thinking to get it for my summer scent but after having tried it twice at the mall I've decided that there are better things to spend my money on.

I never wear perfume. I passed buy a perfume counter and had to have it!

Rokin' Rio is not as good as Island Kiss and Ibiza HIppie. I bought both and love both. The papaya note from the Rockin' Rio spoil it. This os very similar to Island Kiss!! I recommend others to buy Island Kiss than Rockin' Rio.. i rate it 3.5/5 Island Kiss n Ibiza Hippie 4.5/5

but it just smells like fruit punch to me. i like fruits and flowers, don't get me wrong...but this doesn't suit me. it doesn't smell bad, just a very expensive Victoria's Secret body splash. Not complex enough for me to fork over that much money. Happy sniffing!

ROCKIN RIO IS A REFRESHING CITRUSY TROPICAL BLEND. THE GRAPEFRUIT SEEMS TO BE THE TOPNOTE,IS REFRESHING & LIGHT, BUT ON THE SKIN THE TROPICAL NATURE KICKS IN; NOT ENOUGH FOR ME PERSONALLY BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO FADE SOMEWHAT QUICKLY. THE CITRUS ASPECT IS A NICE PICK-ME-UP, & MAY BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY A LITTLE. I RECOMMEND BUYING THE 3.3 OZ. CUZ YOU NEED TO APPLY OFTEN, SINCE ITS LIGHT & AIRY.

I was at Duty Free in the Seattle Airport and I came across this nice looking bottle. So then I sprayed it on me to smell and it was best smelling thing in the whol entire universe!!!

This is a delicious fragrance. It's fresh and clean. You will love this if you love "fruity".

I was at Dillard's in Dallas and as I was walking out, I passed through the "Rockin Rio" promo and I stopped dead and got hooked on this wonderful smell. Needless to say, from a guy's point of view, this is a perfume. I bought it for my girlfriend and I can't keep my hands off of her when we go out on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. For all the single ladies out there, please use with caution. You might break a lot of hears.

SMELLS VERY MODERN,YOUNG, AND EXTRA FRUITY, BUT IT DOES NOT LAST WHATSOEVER! I TRIED ADDING THE LOTION + PERFUME AND IT ONLY LASTS A LITTLE! MAYBE IF THE PERFUME LASTED LONGER I WOULD PURCHASE IT.

i ADORE this scent...i've been a long wearer of Romance by: Ralph Lauren...but when i smelled this i fell in love. It's a delicious smell...mouthwatering! :)

i think the scent on this perfume is so sweet it's like having sugar candy on me, it's unique but expensive

I usually really like the limited edition scents that Escada puts out every year (Island Kiss, Ibiza Hippie, Sexy Graffiti). Rockin Rio is the latest one in this line... in my opinion, it is not as good as the ones from the last few years. Sexy Graffiti was by far the best...too bad we can't get it anymore. Rockin Rio is not horrible, just not good enough for me to buy.

The scent of pineapple stands out in this fruity perfume. It smells sweet, but not soft or powdery. It's energetic and bright.

This scent is so fresh and clean. Its the perfect summer scent. Once you smell this aroma you will be hooked. I advice you to buy the 3.4 bottle or stock up because this scent is only available for one year!

Rockin Rio is faintly tropical .... with something that smells "young" hard to describe.... probably not something a sixty year old would like probably a "funner" fragrance to most.... nice for younger women........

I had been debating whether to buy this perfume. While in the makeup section of the dept, a woman exclaimed, "That smells DELCIOUS! What is it?" and the makeup sales lady said, "She has been trying on perfume," pointing to me, even though the woman had been smelling that makeup brand's signature perfumes trying to pick up the scent. It was this. I bought it shortly after. Reminds me of a tropical smoothie.

The first time i have smelled this scent, I immediately fell in love with it! This scent is wonderful. It's such a great mix of scents that it will make anyone feel like they're in heaven!
