Not the same exact one but I had intense and returned it. So plain and blah! smells like Usher's perfume but not as strong. like a real creamy peach smell so boring. and ugly bottle too akward and long. my daughter thought it was a bar of soap.

  • LAUREN 01/28/2008

When I saw this I thought how lovely to wear for Valentine's day. How wrong. On me and in concert with my chemistry this smells like too ripe peaches and rotten watermelon. Thats the top note, the middle and dry down smell like the above mentioned fruits only much fainter with a hint of perspiration. I detected no jasmine, just fruit gone bad. This is probably one of the most dreadful light scents I've come by in many years. I recommend this one for the garbage can.

  • BULGARIAN12/17/2007

I just bought this. All I can smell is the jasmine notes, so I consider this a rather "flat" and ordinary fragrance. Pleasant and unobtrusive, but decidedly uninteresting. It has almost no staying power (perhaps not suitable for cold climates and drier skins). I don't regret buying it, but I don't think I will spend money on it in the future.

Nice to hearing from you! Hope I didn't offend anyone with my comment on American perfumes :-) Some of them are great, especially "Blush" by Marc Jacobs or "Beautiful" by Estee Lauder which I adore too. If you prefer vanilla -based scents I would recommend: "Vanille extreme" or "Vanille passion" by Comptoir Sud Pacifique, Paris. The first one is a delicious mixture of vanilla and heliotrop, the second one mainly vanilla with a slight hint of spices. Both of them are warm and exotic scents. If you are in the mood for a more floral perfume I would recommend: "24, Faubourg" by Hermes or try the perfume oil "Ananya" which is reedited by The Body shop. My other all-time favorites are: Coco EdP Chanel, Casmir Chopard, Sira des Indes Jean Patou, Le chevrefeuille Annick Goutal (delicious on summer days), J'adore Christian Dior. Please give me your opinion on this some time. I am looking forward to hearing from you! By the way: no, I am not American, I am German :-)

Do you have any other suggestions for perfumes that you like? I'd love to know what other scents you wear! Always nice to meet a fellow perfume lover with similar taste. And I totally agree with you about many American perfumes lacking that certain "magic" of the European scents...not sure exactly why that is. Are you American? Most of my favorite, treasured perfumes are French or Italian. Take care!

  • CK04/09/2007

Yep! It's me again! Purchased the 3.4 edp. one week and another week found the bodycream at a throw-away price. This scent is targeting the young or it could be for those young-at-heart. Nice sheer jasmine scent. To me it has a dry note to it.

  • ELISABETH02/09/2007

It seems that we have a quite similar preference for the same fragrances! I found your comment on the side of Coco Edp Chanel, Casmir/Chopard etc. - all too are my favorites. Blush is not of the gourmand perfume family I normally prefer and -for me an exeption too - it is an American scent, which often do not have a 'certain secret' I adore in European perfumes. Still this one is a tender, crispy scent I enjoy wearing on hot summer days (as an alternative to 'Le chevrefeuille/ Annick Goutal') Really love the fresh air accent of this perfume!

  • ANGIE09/18/2006

Reminds me of the confederate jasmine smell that fills the air in Charleston, SC in the spring and summer!

  • PAZZO08/26/2006

I gagged and almost threw up my lunch after spraying it on my wrist at the mall.Luckily it doesn't last.MAy be i got a bad tester, but man i will be wary of trying it again.Very strong smell of rotten white flowers and fruits.

  • ANDREA G.05/15/2006

I think it is nice! Close to the skin and not agressive, fine, feminine, 'quiet' fragrance for those who like jasmine. But the jasmine scent here is very tender and soft, not overwhelming. I wish the staying power is better. Anyone tried body cream or lotion?

  • *BARBARA W*05/14/2006

Blush is not for those "femme fatale" moments, but it's really quite lovely for those time when you want to smell good, but not "perfumey". I think of it as a skin scent, very soft and light. I read the complaints that it doesn't last long, but this is a mellow scent that is supposed to blend with your skin, so it won't shout at you hours later, but that doesn't mean it's not there...however, I do like to bring it with me and spritz throughout the day because I enjoy the topnotes. It's not a scent for a romantic date, perhaps, but very nice at the office or even at the gym where it shouldn't offend anyone.

  • GLENDA05/11/2006

Love the smell of jasmine so I sampled Blush. No jasmine or floral smell. Strange citrus smell that is neither orange, lemon or lime. Smelled the same on the demo lady who thought it had a strange smell. Did a better job with his Marc Jacobs.

  • REBECCA04/29/2006

Today I came across the small roller ball perfume, and instantly loved it. It's the perfect spring and summer scent. Oh so feminine, and lovely to wear. It's like a subtle and sheer lingerie, and very nice to wear.

  • BILLYE T04/29/2006

I ordered Blush from a very reputable source. The first bottle I received leaked so returned it and received another bottle. I couldn't detect any floral notes in either bottle..just a "tangy" smell. After more than an hour the dry down was nice but extremely faint. I had a couple of friends sniff it and same reaction..."tangy" at first and then later they had to put their nose to my wrist and it was faint. Another friend had bought Blush from a different source and she brought her bottle so we could compare. Same "tangy" smell and then very faint. She stopped wearing Blush because of the strange top note. She also said she couldn't detect any jasmine, honeysuckle or florals either. From the posts I've read is it possible the formula has been changed because what we've experienced is nothing close to the posts? Anyone else?

  • VANESSA04/26/2006

When I was a child, I went to Tunisia with my parents during the easter holidays. We lived in a bungalow park where the air was full of the smell of jasmin... When I smelled 'blush' for the first time, I fell in love with it, 'cause it reminds me of the wonderfull and exotic tunisian gardens!!!!! Thanks Marc Jacobs for this excellent fragrance!!

  • BILLYE T04/16/2006

The "original" Marc Jacobs blends very well with my chemistry and based on the Blush reviews I thought I would give it a try. I haven't found in-stock locally so I'm having to order it on-line. I'm hesitant about ordering frags on-line without giving them a sniff first but since Robin (a good nose...we agree completely about Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren) gave it a thumbs up I thought I would give it a try. I noticed when placing the order there is a "Blush Intense". Has anyone tried that one? I see in previous posts there is a concern about the original Blush fading quickly. I wonder about Blush Intense? The description is "the intimate nature of the original Blush pushed to the extreme. Blush is jasmine pure and innocent; Blush Intense is jasmine wild and extroverted. Intoxicating scent of jasmine at daybreak and dusk. Captures the perfect moment of blooming flowers." Doesn't give any other notes. Does "intense" mean more of a good thing or too much.....? Anyone?

  • ANDREA03/11/2006

Not staying power on me at all. Nothing. I can hardly smell it when I spray it on, so I almost can't even describe it. Very strange.

  • TAT2DBETTIE01/11/2006

I hope it doesn't get discontinued... I really think that rumor is un-true. I still see this fragrance in a lot of stores and got a kick butt Blush gift set for Christmas... so I dunno, it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere... one can hope anyway.

  • STAR12/05/2005

i love this! smells like spring, sweet, pretty, light, perfect! i really hope they don't discontinue it!!

  • KRIS11/03/2005

When this fragrance debut last spring I absolutely didn't like it. My friend, a perfume distributor, gave me several samples and blush was one of them. I became hooked! To me it seems marketed wrong. I don't find this a "sexy innocent" fragrance. I like to wear it to the gym, yoga class, and to play tennis because it energizes me and makes me feel clean and fresh. My friend, the distributor, said she really smells the orange blossom on me. But, now I just learned that this fragrance has been pulled from many stores and may be discontinued. I plan to get another bottle soon!

  • *MAYA*10/04/2005

I got a bottle of Eau De Parfum Spray a little while ago and have decided that BLUSH is just such a pretty fragrance. I have read all the comments and have to disagree about it being labeled as a totally SUMMER fragrance; and although I will and would have worn it in the summer had a purchased it earlier I will love wearing this fragrance in the fall as well. There is just something so antique-loving about its composition in the way it unfolds and wraps around you. Just simply lovely! It reminds me of beautiful things in life, things meant to be treasure and savored! It reminds me of candy-pink, and powder-blue dresses, puffy sleeves and ornate wigs worn by high-class ladies oh and those painted-on beauty marks! The lasting power of Blush is pretty remarkable as far as I am concerned. In fact I can smell it hours after I've applied. But I have to admit that I don't have a very light hand when I do apply it in the first place ;) It somewhat reminds me of Burberrys Tender Touch but Tender Touch is a little more intense and actually longer-lasting if you will - the fact is that with Tender Touch I find that it just stays and stays and stays - Literally, I will spray in the morning and would be able to smell it the nest morning. Having said all that, I would just like to add that Blush is a sensual fragrance for those moments when a woman just wants to be adored and loved!

  • ROBIN 09/12/2005

Well, girls, I've had some weeks to enjoy my bottle of Blush now, and I have to say that all my reservations about its staying power are GONE. It's proven to be a lovely, lingering, fresh/rich scent unlike any other. I think it just blends so well with my chemistry -- yours, too, perhaps? -- that I don't sense it as this foreign aroma; it just blends with me, and that's why I don't sense it like some other, more aggressive scents. But I've sprayed some on one wrist and compared it with other long-lasting fragrances on the other wrist -- hey, the only scientific way -- and sure enough, Blush hangs in there! Such a pretty, pretty floral with richness and depth and roundness and warmth. Yum, yum.

  • APRIL06/26/2005

This fragrance is so beautiful. Its very light which is perfect for summer. There's nothing out there that smells the same. Very distinct scent. I love it. It will be my summer fave scent.

  • CHARLOTTE05/14/2005

Just like a man to design this unuser friendly bottle. The perfume is a nice change from the tooty-fruity suntan lotion smells out there, BUT if you have small hands the bottle is a little difficult to hold and spray. Marc stop thinking like a man when you create a bottle for women.

  • ALQEMIST04/26/2005

Ladies, as a perfume master I can tell you there is no such thing as "pink musk"! What a pity the marketing people use such frivoulous language on an artform like perfume. As for "Blush" - well yes the reality is that even though your own nose will get fatigued and not smell most perfumes after a while, Blush is long on head notes and short on heart and soul notes

  • BEBE BULLET03/28/2005

pink musk like cashmere. blush, the other success. a beautiful centerpiece on my table. very nice

  • PERFUMELOVER03/06/2005

Marc Jacobs blush is one of the most delicious fragrances out there..... a warm but lovely and true scent of flowers and something else...... I distictly detect lily of the valley and I'm not sure what else but I love it..... very nice...... a "somewhat" comples mix but not chemically at all..... I hate that!

  • CHRISTOBELLE02/25/2005

this is a fragrance that does fill the room around you, you need to be nearer to smell it on someone. On me I didn't like it at all, in fact, I washed it off. dont know what it is, maybe just my chemistry.

  • BELLE02/25/2005

A very pleasant smelling fragrance... musky, but very light. Recommend this for warm weather because it is so light, you can barely smell it in cool weather. When it's hot outside, you don't want some heavy perfume that becomes even more intense with the heat, so this is great then because you can smell it better. Being that it is so light, it needs the help, but it is a pretty scent.

  • COURTNEY02/23/2005

Moment is MUCH nicer than Blush, in my opinion, but my opinion of Moment isn't all that hot, if you read the message there. I by far prefer Eternity Rose Blush (now discontinued) or Eternity Love. Blush, to answer your question, is incredibly bland, and nothing special at all. It smells a bit like cheap hairspray.

  • DANCER4LIFE02/10/2005

I really like the fragrance, but... as Robin brought it up, it disappears way too fast! I also cannot detect it after about an hour or so, which is usually not the case with other fragrances... Light, but perhaps too light with no staying power?

  • PERFUME-AHOLIC02/09/2005

This scent is BEAUTIFUL when it first goes on. It is unique, feminine, fresh and an instant cheer-u-up type of scent. However, as other posts have noted, this scent does NOT go a long way, even if u spray more than a fair amount. No staying power, but, I still like it for the short time it's there :)

  • BELLE01/31/2005

How does this compare to Calvin Klein's Eternity Moment? They have similar notes and they are both florals. I have tried Etenity Moment but not Blush by Marc Jacobs. I was wondering if they are very similar in smell.

  • ROBIN01/28/2005

Well, I'd said it really lingers in the air, but I wonder now. . .I can't seem to smell it on my wrist after an hour, and people say they can't detect it unless they're up close. I've put a fair bit on. . .it's not exactly cheap. . .Any comments???

  • ROBIN01/27/2005

Between the jasmine and honeysuckle, it's like a beautiful flower garden, and yet there are smooth, deep notes that keep it rich and womanly. Strange though; I find it "travels" in the air nicely -- Light Blue is the same way -- while my fiance says it's so subtle, even when he gets up close he really has to inhale deeply to get much. Any comments from other users?

  • DANCER4LIFE01/26/2005

I tried this fragrance while walking around a department store... and kept sniffing my wrist - I liked it from the get-go! I got a big bottle and very happy with it. Not sure if it is strong though - after about an hour I cannot smell it any more...

  • DEB01/23/2005

i was very excited to try this, cuz it sounded so light and pretty. so i ordered a sample of it, and am glad i did instead of just buying it. sorry to say, the first thing i thought of when i smelled it on me was black licorice! i know that sounds odd, but that was all i could smell, except maybe a faint jasmine smell behind it. perhaps it's just my chemistry....on the plus side, i tried laila, and have found a new scent! just what i have been looking for!

  • SHARRIE01/07/2005

marc jacobs the man of class. tender moments. great. houses of the holy scents. magic potion. some kindof mystery. wonderful.

  • CLARISSA12/31/2004

Serenity This perfume possesses an airy, pure, and serene scent. If you like jasmine and like to feel self-contained, then this is the one for you.

  • FLOWERBUG12/29/2004

I can not simply spray blush on. I have to spray it in the air and twirl into it. Its a wonderful, subtly intoxicating scent that reminds me of fairytale forests.. Its just so refreshing, it makes the whole world seem easier!

  • CLAUDIA T.12/27/2004

This fragrance is good, but not as good as I ever expected. This fragrance provides a kind of airy, ethereal feeling, sort of like roaming in a misty lane in a early autumn morning with quiet joy and tranquil happiness in mind. But when I wear it in work, I find that it becomes unbearable. It becomes very arousing and stirring, which make me feel hard to concentrate on what I am doing. Perhaps this fragrance is just not that type for office.

  • SHARRIE12/22/2004

very sentimental. a touch of an angel. wonderful. blessing in disquise. warm.

  • MIMI84200412/06/2004
