have been looking for this for 3yrs in heaven now

I'm seeming to fall in love with Kenzo's parfum version of their fragrances...both this and the Amour le parfum are beautiful, much more so than the EDP or EDT versions. Well done, Kenzo!

This is the ONLY powdery perfume that I've enjoyed. There is something very erotic about the parfum version (don't care for the other versions). Not sure I'd buy it, but it certainly had me happily sniffing my wrist long after I tested it! Definitely worth another try.

I find this perfume absolutely intoxicating. ~*~*~*~*~ (sigh!) Unfortunately, I think it is a bit much on my skin - it could wear me and have me with toast for breakfast - but I LOVE the fragrance when someone else is wearing it and I keep getting wafts of it. It is yummy, spicy, and sexy all at the same time. A great gourmand/oriental, in my opinion, my other top favorites being Lolita Lempicka, Angel, and Innocent. I would be very hard pressed to choose just one out this line up.

Okay, I'm embarassed. I bought this perfume in Baltimore earlier this year (I always perfume shop when I travel for business - usually during the seminar I'm there to attend . . .). Tried it, thought, "meh," gave it to my MOM, then my SISTER, sure that it WAS NOT ME. It didn't last on either of them (this is the 1.7 parfum spray). I finally took it back simply because I couldn't place it in a good home. Decided to give it another try (like a shirt you hate but can't quite give it to the Salvation Army ). LOVE IT! Not only do I love it, so does everyone else. It lasts like crazy on me and I. Am. In. Love. God, do I feel like an idiot. Flower parfum is powdery but in a totally horny way (you know exactly what I mean). My bad.

There is NO lasting power to the Satin Spray. It is labeled a parfum spray which is confusing, since the smaller 1.7 ounce bottle is also labeled a parfum spray. I tried the larger 2.5 Satin Spray thinking it was the same product that I had in the smaller bottle, and that it would be a better value. But there is no value in something you can't smell in thirty mintues. The original parfum spray in the 1.7 ounce bottle is a winner. Stick with that.

  • DESDEKID05/04/2006

i dislike the original flower( plain boring and soapy). In this one, the addition of amber and almond does the trick. Great staying power. sweet but not cloying. powdery but not old lady smelling. really yummy scent. a bit on the gourmand side.

I do have the perfume version but it's a way too gentle...nevertheless, i have a hard time finding other types of perfume I'd like. This one is the best for me. I love Gloria too but they have discontinued it.

  • TAYA03/23/2006

More powderly and better balanced. Not as in-your -face as the other version.

  • COURTNEY02/23/2006

If it doesn't last long, you can buy the parfum version. It's more expensive and smaller, but stronger!

  • ELS01/29/2006

i revisited this scent a few days ago....i wanted to try the satin spray vs. the perfume spray to see if they smelled the same and which had the longest lasting power. to my disappointment, i couldn't even smell the satin spray on my wrist an hour later. the perfume, however, lasted the rest of the evening, and i could smell it on my sweater the next day. not so with the satin spray. perfume emporium, i really hope you can offer us the perfume spray soon!

the face of a cabbage patch doll, really next time smell it, the sales lady at sephora have me smell this, i was sampling the demeter pick me up sprays and she says to me smell this dosent this smells like a cabbage patch dolls face, but i didnt know it was flower red bottle until about two months later i was looking for flower fragrance so i sample this one and agian that plastic smell from the cabbage dolls face but not so much the cabbage doll came to my mind but more like plastic then i saw her agian and i told her this smells like plastic or something than she said thats the one i had you smell, not bad though just was concern if i would smell like a cabbage patch dolls face, please dont be upset that just us.

  • OLIVIA 11/17/2005

I agree with s . This is scent is sensual, powdery but not long lasting. Same problem with Flower ( the transparent bottle). It's a pity that I like both versions but they dont's last on me even though they are supposed to be rich, warm oriental florals.

  • S.11/07/2005

Hi girls! This perfume is absolutely beautiful but it doesn't last long on me. What is your experience with it? Thanks.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE06/01/2005

Gorgeous scent! One of my favorites of all! So glad I tried it based on your reviews. Thanks everyone!

  • FRAAGRANCE JUNKIE05/23/2005

Wow! This is a really different scent than anything I own. I tried it based on your comments posters, so thank you! I agree with ELS; it does smell a little unusual at first, but it transforms into something magical after a short while. I really like it, and feel it would be a good year-round scent, day or night.

  • BABY ROSES05/06/2005

It's alright, but I don't care for it as much as Flower. It doesn't last as long and a little too "powdery".

  • SHARRIE03/20/2005

m addicted to the poppy flower. precious. gracious. grand. delicacy. wonderful.

  • SHARRIE03/15/2005

wheres the poppys. euphoric high. ecastic. serene. `capable of trailing the other sex. wonderful.

  • ELS03/10/2005

oooh i love this...it is amazing. it smells really weird for the first few minutes but it dries down to something really divine.

  • COURTNEY12/09/2004

I just bought this while in Paris, but am glad to know I can get it here. If you like Flower, just think of this new one as a darker, more winter or night-time version of the original. It has more notes of Amber and Vanilla. It is oilier in texture. It is a great alternative to the original, which is my husband's favorite.

  • MICHELLE11/05/2004

I had a sample of this, and it is absolutely pleasing. I like that it is an oil because of my sensitive skin. Smells wonderful!!!!

  • BOUGIE10/29/2004

I sprayed this on today when a co-worker had it on her desk, a friend had just returned from Thailand and brought it to her. Needless to say, I had to have it, the depth is amazing, if you don't like a powdery smell it might not be for you but to me it answers all the needs!

  • CAPRICIOUS CAPRICORN10/19/2004

I couldn't wait it scrub it off. Won't say any more.
