This product is really good...

A boyfriend bought New West Skinscent for me in the early 1990's and I've worn it since. One word says it all 'FABULOUS'! I always received nice compliments everywhere I went and the wonderful scent lingers...compliments there too! It seems that New West for women has been discontinued as it is no where to be found...very disappointing. I will be forced to find a new identity scent.

Have used this for years. people always comment how nice it is, but now looks like I need to find an alternative as I can't buy this anywhere

I was happy to find a perfume that many people seams to like it. Sorry, I don't agree. It doesn't smell fresh like it is supposed to be.

The perfume shop was my last hope of buying this perfume. Now they've stopped too. Is there anything else remotely like it. I've been using new west for years, any suggestions at all please?????

Could not find New West at any local stores and looked online and found it I am very happy i get numerous compliments wearing it. Hope it will be around forever.

When this 1st hit the market it was the best smelling scent ever! I got to admit it does smell a little different now, but when I put it on it still smell good to everyone I'm around. Its based on your body chemistry...REgardless it still #1 to me!!

This cologne is the best! I like fresh smelling scents and New West is top on my list. Not everyone can wear the same cologne. Everyones chemistry is different and the scent will be different on each individual. I love this cologne and I always get complimented on how this scent of cologne interacts with my chemistry. Its really hard to find. Glad you have it!!!

I used to wear this scent a LONG while ago and couldn't find it. I just ordered another bottle. It is very true about what people say with regard to men and this scent. Men seem to really love it and with women it's love it or hate it. So many men were always drawn to this scent... crazy.

OMG!!!! I have been being tortured by the stinch of this perfume for quite some time now. My manager wears it proudly, but I never knew what the perfume was until I asked a woman in a store who smelled just like her what she was wearing. When she said NEW WEST I wanted to express my disappointment to the manufacturer. This perfume should be illegal!!!!!!

I was told I smell like a Million Bucks while wearing this clean fresh scent, I had a very small amount that I would only wear on special occasions. People would always ask ,what is that wonderful scent? I would say forget it they don't even make it any more! And I think they thought I just did not want to share the information! More people compliment about this fragrance then anything. I am a smoker and yet while at the casino someone next to me asked what I was wearing it smelled so clean and fresh and at work people know I am there just by the sent in the halls. I just give a quick spray at my neck area and it last all day. I always bought it at Macy's but they don't carry it anymore they told me Aramis does not make it anymore. I've worn this for at least 15 yrs .

I like this one and i always get compliments from others when I wear it.Its the kind of perfume that you might feel is too strong when its just been sprayed but give it a while and I think you will like it. I also wear Polo Sport which like key west is a marine type of fragrance but much lighter. Key West is my night time fragrance and Polo Sport my daytime one. These days I like to wear fresh clean or citrusy perfumes. My all time favourite is Chanel Crystalle.

I have been wearing this fragrance for over 10 years. Everywhere I go, people LOVE it. It makes me feel special. It smells like the beach and lasts a long time. I'm so glad you can still buy it. I have about 10 bottles "in reserve" in fear I won't be able to get it anymore!

I went on YAHOO Answers, asked where I could get it and who it was by (i couldnt remember because it's been discontinued for soooo long. I've been searching high and low. Lady asked me to just stay in her shop and walk around so it would smell good in there !

I remember buying this frangrance years ago then all of a sudden it disappeared off the face of the earth. I remember it costing around $30. to $40.00. I love the frangrants but it is not that serious to pay double the price. There are several new fragrances that are just as nice for a quarter of the price.

This is such a signature fragrance. Nothing compares. Glad it has become easier to find. I am allergic to a lot of perfumes, but not this one.

So, today i ´ve got my new west and i have to tell you, tuty was right, it is old and it stinks. I´m quite disappointed...and my fear was more than justified.

and I gotta tell you: New West is by far the BEST perfume out there. There is this one girl I know and everybody all men LOVE her.. it's hard to describe.. men just go crazy when she's around. No one knew what made her so special until one day I asked her about her perfume.. (because I reallised it's simply the way she smells that makes her so incredibly attractive). Well, guess what she told me: New West, Aramis. Women out there, if you want men go crazy, then just use NW. And for those who think I might just use this platform to advertise this perfume: No, I'm not working for Aramis or something :-) I am just a man who is thrilled and amazed by the way women smell. If you've read "The Perfume", then you know what I'm talking about...

I am in Heaven today! I managed to find a shop in Glasgow with 3 bottles of my long time favourite perfume on the shelf, I couldn't believe it, as I was led to believe it was discontinued. I bought a 100ml bottle for £31.99 (Sterling). I am so Happy as I have been looking for this for the last 7 years.

I knew New West at the beginning but cannot find it now in France. everywhere I went, everybody asked me "what is this fragrance". For me, it's the fragrance of holidays, sea, sun, freedom. Cannot believe my luck. Just found my old favourite on internet. There is just nothing like it. Have tried so many fragrances and none compare to New West. Can't wait to get it. Just hope it will smell as good so many years later. Found a bottle some years ago which had been a long time on the shelf and had to bring it back as it was really off. Here's hoping all will be well with my new bottle.

The high ratings this perfume got from its users made me very curious about this perfume that I asked a friend abroad to buy me one. I was told in all the department stores that they do not carry the product. Anyway, I agree with the one who commented that you either love it or hate it. There is something in the perfume which makes me keep the bottle. All of those who smelled me wear the scent told me I smell too strong and even commented I smell more mature that I am. After sometime, though, the same people told me I smell great and even asked if it was the same perfume I was wearing earlier they smelled me. The scent is very unique, though. Very sealike, very marine.

I just received my bottle of New West today and let me tell you I have been wearing this perfume for over 10 years and this surely does not smell like the New West I'm use to wearing. It STINKS! This bottle has been sitting around for quite some time. This bottle is definetly going back. That's what I get for trying new places out. If you can, get New West in New York. It's the best!!

I first purchased New West in Cancun, the summer of 1993. I was 13 years old. Since that time, througout the 90's it was my favorite scent. It reminds me of looking out on the beaches of Cancun and spending a wonderful vacation with my family, before reality of life set in for me. Since that summer, 12 years ago, I had not been able to find that scent. That scent is the only true reminder of what it was like to be in that beautiful place. I'm glad I can find it now, 13 years later and be taken back to that wonderful place. If a perfume can do that for me!! it must be good!!!

I have worn New West since 1990 and ALWAYS get compliments. It is hard to find, so I save it now for special occasions. But be warned, New West does not store well. Use your bottle up within a year or two or it will smell HORRIBLE! I've had to return bottles I've purchased on line because they must have been too old.

I don't smell the sea air at all but lots of lucious melons! It reminds of a cross between watermelon and honeydew. When I wear it people remark that I smell fruity, but not too sweet. Works for me!

If you are looking for something similar with the same watery fresh, melony tone of new west then I recommend you try oscar de' larenta Intrusion - its very nice!

New West has been my favorite for atleast 10 years, it is hard for me to find and discontinued in stores but I manage to find it every year on line and it does drive men nuts, old or young.

I have even had bag boys at the grocery store tell me this! I cannot believe the reaction men have when they smell this. Must have pheremones!

Heaven has heard my prayers. I have been looking for this perfume for over 5 years now. I really want the NECTOR but can't find it. I am allergic to perfume, but this one I"M NOT and I love this so much cause it reminds me of falling in love with my husband in the early 90's. I love you Tony!

I hated this fragrance. It was a gift over two years ago and I've sprayed it maybe two or three times. I see people raving about it left and right, but it smells like sour arm pits to me. yuck!!

My girl friend & I usedo wear this scent. Men would walk up & stop us and ask us what we were wearing. Sometime to ask us out, sometime just to get the perfume info for their wives or girl friends. And trust me I am not that pretty. We couldnt believe the responce. We used to laugh while we were getting ready to go out.As we sprayed ourselves.Because it caused such a stir. To bad they dont sell it everywhere. The dessert nectar is great too, but cant seem to find it anywhere.

I found that My Ocean by Club Med, the fragrace paired with the matching lotion is quite similar to new west. Its the only thing I found similar. Someone else mentioned Escape being similiar but I disagree. Escape is another "Ocean" scent but I feel it doesn't smell the same. Try "MY OCEAN by Club Med"..its cheap too at the drugstore, wal-mart, anywhere.....

I was surprised to see New West here. I had a friend in college who used to wear this scent all the time and it really matched her personality. Young and vibrant. It is a nice scent. Fresh, clean, and not overpowering. I could never wear this scent because it was totally her signature scent, but it is great to see it here. I hope she still wears it. In my mind she does and she is still the same; Young, vibrant and happy. :)

This was my favorite fragrance in the early 90's so I'm SO excited to find it again! My reasons for wearing it are somewhat nostalgic so I didn't know if it was outdated but I have received many compliments on it. It's kind of nice having something different than everyone else!

New West Women was a scent that my first love and ex-fiance used to love for me to wear, and I loved the fragrance as well. He loved it so much that he kept a t-shirt of mine that had the scent on it. I am so happy to have found a place to purchase this delightful intoxicating scent.

Everywhere I looked it was out of stock...but finally I got it. Just keep looking and you'll find it on the web (though the prices vary). Maybe it's good that it's so hard to come by. We wouldn't want everyone wearing a scent that becomes so much our own now would we girls? How wonderful to have that great smell back in my life!

I used to wear New West Skin Scent all the time but I have been out now for several years. I was wondering if anyone has found a scent they think is similar to New West that would be cheaper and easier to come by. I think I might have found one but to tell the truth it has been so long I can't really remember for sure. Believe it or not it is a men's fragrance - Kenneth Cole Men. I actually bought this without sampling it because of the rave reviews and boy, am I glad I did! This scent is hard to describe but if you like clean scents that remind you of the beach then you will love this too. It smells like fresh air. See? I told you it was hard to describe! It's also hard to find so grab it while you can. I get compliments all the time when I wear this - even by people who tell me that perfume is always too strong or too sweet and makes them sick but this stuff they love.

New West is only stocked in Nordstroms located in Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco and maybe one or two other cities. Much easier to buy from this great website than to travel to one of those cities! Thank you!

I have made this my signature fragrance for good reason. I always receive compliments when I am wearing this, and it is not so easy to come by making it unique. Soft and yet lasting.

I have a sensitivity to perfume, but New West is wonderful, uplifting & clean. A lot of people around us are sensitive to perfumes, but if I love it, it probably won't be offensive to others.

I've been wearing new west for about 8yrs now no matter where I go someone has to stop me and ask what is it. IT SMELLS SO CLEAN. Everyone knows when I'm in work they say that they can follow my scent down the halls and I work in the basement of a hospital which is without windows but it makes it smell clean. Tell me is it true that it is not being made anymore.
