  • DARRSHAN11/21/2011

the bottle is absolutely sexy and sleek and coming to the scent it is sweet but in a good way and not too foody, longevity is awesome,i think after this all armanis hav launched hopeless perfumes, this is the last good one left.

  • ROSIE07/19/2011

Just discovered this gorgeous juice. Will love it forever.

  • ROSIE07/16/2011

Ummm! What's that gorgeous smell, I think this is yummy, my new favorite.

  • ROSIE06/30/2011

oh this is a wonderful fragrance! love at first sniff. there was a bottle at the entrance of National Pharmacies, prob wouldnt have tried it but I sprayed some on my wrist, strong at first but mellows to a lovely warm but fresh, sexy scent. I love it!!

  • TOM110/11/2010

I completely love this fragrance. My boyfriend picked it out for me 5 yrs ago and ever since then, ive not found any perfume that i love so much. Get loads of nice comments on it. Its my signature scent, people know ive been there just from my perfume. Second place is ricci ricci

  • APS02/20/2010

I have worn this all through college and everyone LOVES IT! It is by far one of my top 2 favorite perfumes! You have to try it! It's AMAZING!

  • CATHERINE11/30/2009

When floral orientals work, you get well-rounded things that are pretty in an expected way; brushed shoulder-length hair, a strand of pearls, low black pumps. Code seems to be aiming that way, but instead of gently sweetened woods, it throws in a massive dose of the cotton-candy note of ethylmaltol which turns its orange blossom directly to syrup. That it takes three heavy-hitting big-name perfumers (Dominique Ropion, Oliver Polge and Carlos Benaïm) to stir this soup is a mystery, but you can almost see the committee at work; Benaïm bringing the ethylmaltol overdose from Flowerbomb, Ropion engineering a synthetic white floral the size of a house and Polge sneaking in the orange-hard-candy note of Liberté. The result sounds cloying and it is. I have nightmares of being the chihuahua imprisoned in the purse of the woman who wears it. Armani couture often equals quality but that doesn´t seem to stretch to their perfumes.

  • BARBARA W06/20/2009

Decided to give Code another whirl (since a bought a full bottle unsniffed), and several people actually said they smelled "bug spray" when I walked into the room. Always thought people were exaggerating when they used the term "bug spray" to describe a scent, but not anymore...this stuff is toxic on me. :(

  • MELANIE01/29/2009

I bought armani code as a birthday gift for myself recently and after one whiff, i was floored completely. This one smells exactly like my other favorites, Amour & flower by Kenzo. Just beautiful.

  • ASHLEY11/07/2008

I own this and have woen it for bout 2 yrs. I have had ALOT of compliments on it. I haven't found anything yet that i liked more!!

  • LETICIA10/01/2008

ALL MY CO-WORKERS LOVE IT. I DONT KNOW IT IS REALLY COMMON BUT I HAVE ALWAYS A NICE COMPLIMENT AND SOMETIMES IT SCARES ME BECAUSE SOME OF THEM JUST WANT TO BE CLOSE TO ME ALL THE TIME SMELLING ME

  • ~BOHEMIANGIRL~07/12/2008

Was given a bottle as a gift, and even though I wasn't crazy about it, thought I'd wear it for a few days to see if it grew on me. People around me kept commenting on a "bug spray" smell, and it turned out to be the Code. Needless to say, I'm giving this away...awful on me.

  • MARLA07/11/2008

I purchased the mini of Armani Code and while I do like it, there is nothing about it that says "unique" nor have I had anyone ask about it - which is one of the main indicators that I've bought an awesome perfume. So, while I do think it is OK, it's not THE one.

  • BARBARA W05/17/2008

My mother and I were out perfume shopping the other day, and she sprayed Code on her wrist...to my surprise, I really liked it. Thought it might have been just her chemistry, so I tried some on myself and found it just as nice. It's sexy yet sheer enough to wear during the day. No idea why I found it so unfavorable before. I might just be buying a bottle soon...go figure!

  • LOVE A ROMA05/09/2008

This fragrance is so seductive and unique. It is a light scent tht lasts all day! Very sexy! I am constantly getting compliments. If you want to make heads turn, this is the one!

  • HOT MAMA!05/06/2008

Armani Code has a deep, captivating smell that is not too harsh. It is very sensual and I have received compilments on this. I brought a sample of this and Euphoria into work one day and almost everyone chose this over Euphoria. If you want to turn heads, then buy this one!

  • SEXY MAMA05/04/2008

If you want to turn heads, this is the one. The scent is very unique and extremely seductive. It is light but noticable. I've never smelled anything quite like it.This is a keeper!

  • SOLE03/01/2008

In my experience, perfumes smell different on every person. Sometimes I will smell something on the sample card and love it and then be horribly disappointed when I try the real thing on. Such was not the case with Code. I loved it in the magazine and when I tried it on at the mall, I was instantly hooked. It is a warm oriental with subtle floral notes that is just slightly masculine (in a good way) and it works so well with my body chemistry that people often ask me what scent it is every time I use it. I wear it mostly in the colder months because I tend to lean towards fresher, fruitier scents in the summer but this one melts right into my skin. Delicious. I don't understand the concept of calling a fragrance boring or unremarkable if it does not work on one person because obviously it will smell perfect on another.

  • EVONET02/28/2008

While I have to admit this isn't my favorite, there is something that draws me to it occassionally. It is deep and dark and strong in my opinion, but also synthetic and common. Not usually what I go for, but I do wear it sometimes for that very reason. I did receive a compliment once by a guy I was dating on this one.

  • SHAWNA02/22/2008

This scent is not offensive in any way, just not anything special at all. I disagree with a poster that said it smelled like Euphoria which is one of my favorites, it smells nothing like it to me. It reminds me of Bounce dryer sheets after it has dried down, and not something I would classify as sensual. Apparantly I am not the only one to think of dryer sheets as I physically forced my significant other to smell it (he hates 98% of perfumes) stuffing my wrist under his nose. He completly agreed-Bounce dryer sheets.

  • TRISHY02/21/2008

Totally agree, smells almost exactly like Jean Paul Gaultier "Classic" to me also; but that is one of my favorites.

  • ERIN PERFUME ADDICT01/06/2008

I love the smell of this but don't know that I will buy it because it smells too familiar too common, I almost feel like I already own it. Maybe smells a bit like Euphoria?

  • MAXXX01/01/2008

I have loads of perfumes...this is my staple. I smelled it on somebody else the other day and did'nt realise it was code! Smelled gorgeous! This and Angel my top 2 so far.

  • SHARON12/10/2007

Jean-Paul Gaultier "Classic" in my opinion. A heavy spicy/floral?? I was surprised at how closely they resemble each other.

  • ANNABELLE12/08/2007

I have to confess, I tried an "impression" of this fragrance in a body spray from a drugstore. I loved it so much, I had to sample the real thing at the mall. To the untrained nose, the body spray and real Code are remarkably similar. I am happy to say the true Code is also beautiful on me. I am not experienced in identifying exact perfume notes so my descriptions can't spell them out. I do the best I can. My sample of Code was very positive. After the initial sweetness, a lovely, soft personality emerged, followed by a very fresh, captivating drydown. It was very feminine and elegant, almost powdery but in a nice way. I don't care for powdery fragrances, general. I didn't detect an edge to it but maybe it's just me. I found the lasting power to be excellent. I would definitely have this wonderful scent in my collection!

  • TONY T07/26/2007

oriental. heavy also which i guess is good and bad. my friend at work wears it (she's over250 pounds and it smells lovely on her). top notch.

  • PERFUME NEWBIE07/23/2007

12 hours after spraying - still there. Sexy, sensual, hint of steel or hardness gives an edge. Definite musk that lingers and pulls you back. There's a note that I don't like and it has to do with that edge like a chemical or synthetic. This would be nice at a club or party with others. It does have sophistication and a hint of sweetness.

  • DARRSHAN06/22/2007

well this is the best bottle from armani, but fragrance wise it is below average and not of armani standards.

  • BARBARA W05/13/2007

Code is another boring floral, completely overhyped - just proves what clever marketing and the Armani name can do for a perfume. It's not awful, just not particularly sexy or exciting. I don't care for the men's version, either. Oh well!

  • DIPIKA04/28/2007

For all those lovely ladies who think that this is a masterpiece by just looking at the bottle let me tell you that it is a big let down in every sense of the true term,Mr armani i am sure a passionate man like you could have done better than this,it is just good but not breathtaking not something that a woman would want to wear when she is about to have the time of her life.i am sure you will ponder over my opinion and come out with something that will leave every woman believing that she can make heads turn on every journey that she embarks.

  • DOLLY DAGGER04/23/2007

I usually like Armani, but this is just okay. His masterpiece to me is, Prive collection, Bois de Encens, only $185.00. (figures, I have to fall in love with the expensive one)The bottle on the Armani code is so sexy & provocative, if only the juice was.

  • SCENTRESS04/22/2007

The BEST topnotes! The drydown however...I'm influenced by what I've read in a review. Somewhere I came across that the drydown is synthetic and plastic-ky. Is it really or am I just readily influenced? Was gonna sell it in EBAY but couldn't bring myself to. Very long-lasting but could I have something clinging on my skin which is not olfactorily desirable?

  • SEARCHING4SCENT04/05/2007

I brought this one because i heard that it has a similar dry down to Sensi which i absolutely adore. Code does have a similar creamy drydown with a hint of spice BUT...for some reason on my skin we cannot seem to reach the dry down point and i walk around smelling like ginger and strong alcohol! will try again but as it is warming up here, i'd better try and track down sensi

  • ACLASSYGIRL03/23/2007

This scent smells just like Estee lauders Beautiful... from back in the 8o's... so-rta for the mature woman..

  • DEBRA03/22/2007

I first smelled Armani /code for women on a magazine advertisment, and loved it. Bought a spray bottle and love it even more. Many, many compliments.

  • ROXOLANA03/09/2007

I liked it as I tried it a few times in the mall. It is a little strong, but fresh with spicy notes. My husband though didn't like it, so I guess I will buy something else.

  • MARY ALICE02/26/2007

The three things that White Linen and Red Door seem to have in common are rose, sandlewood and amber. Maybe you are allergic to one of those. Code does not seem to contain these three scents. I hope this helps you...Mary Fannin

  • ~SEXXYREDD~02/15/2007

I REALLY LIKE THIS ... I KEPT PASSING IT FOR A WHILE BUT KEPT SAYING BOY THAT SURE IS A PRETTY BOTTLE... JUST LIKE I DID WITH FLOWERS BY KENO , BUT THATS THE ONLY THING CUTE ABOUT FLOWERS I HATE THE FRAGRANCE BUT I LOVE THIS ARMANI AND THE MAN VERSION IS AWESOME ALSO

  • BUNNY02/14/2007

I love Armani Code!! The scent stays with you, and is an attention getter. If I had to compare it to another perfume, It smells a lot like Dolce Gabana Light Blue. Caution....For Sexpots only!!

  • MARY ALICE02/11/2007

Shower gel and lotion came in the package I purchased and I tried them today. The shower gel is wonderful, makes lots of lather and is true to the smell of the EDP. The lotion is nice but way too thin for my dry winter skin.

  • MARY ALICE02/10/2007

I was looking for a vanilla hoping to expand my range beyond the florals that I have always used. I really like this and it has great staying power on me, which is always an issue with my body chemistry. It is a spicy vanilla. On my skin it is a bit powdery, which I like. To me, it is slightly reminiscent of Sublime.

  • ~SEXXYREDD~02/10/2007

wELL I BOUGHT THE ARMANI CODE YESTERDAY AND IAM VERY PLEASED ...IT'S NOT POWDERY ON ME AT ALL ...I LOVE IT IT GETS YOUR ATTENTION WITHOUT SCREAMING.... REDD

  • GRFEEKGIRL02/09/2007

Hi again, to me this scent is not powderly at all, it smells very gingery, a lot like Jean Pauls Classique, if you like that one youll love this one, i do, see ya, Helen.

  • HISAKO02/05/2007

Yes. I totally agree with you, to you know who I am! The scent is rather over powderly and the scent and ad image go well together; The perfume is for hi-class escort girls. Well at least that the image of this perfume to me.

  • ~SEXXYREDD~01/29/2007

ok one post say it's powdery... Then another post say they love it and it's not powdery... which one is it ??? Because i don't like powdery perfume can someone please help what do it smell similar to ???

  • D01/07/2007

this was a different direction for me for perfumes. i usually go for the soft florals, but wanted something that stayed with me better. i tried this out, not sure if it would work for me, as it seemed so intense at first compared to my usual. but it is one of my favorite perfumes ever! it is strong, but not too strong...just right. i save it for the weekends (too pretty for the office), and love getting whiffs of it throughout the day. my husband can actually smell it on me--this is huge--and he loves it. it is a very sexy scent, i think, and i feel sexy wearing it.

  • SMITTEN01/02/2007

Santa wrapped up the EDP and shower gel for me. I haven't worn anything else since I unwrapped this lovely little gift. If there is such a thing as a sophisticated fruity scent, I would have to say this is it. I live in Alaska and find it perfect for our current weather. (Cold and dark outside!) I wear alot of turtle necks and I love the way this scent lingers on my neck. It is sultry but tame enough for the office.. Love it. My man can't resist the scent either.. VBG Hey all you men out there, I love that you are posting your reviews. Keep at it.. I want to hear your opinions..

  • MAGIC_JAN12/31/2006

I am in love with this fresh floral and femenine sence. My latest favorite.

  • MAGIC_JAN12/29/2006

I love this purfume. It's totally sexy and modern. I am new purfume collector and would like to get some advice from you.I don't have many purfume in my collection now,but I just ourchase Code last week and fell in love with it.I got alergic to white lien and Red door. They make me got bad headache and dizzy and drownsy. Is anyone know which is similar to two of this so that I can stay away from? I like fresh floral, femenine, modern sence that is last lonlg.not powdery, not ambery.thanks.

  • R. SHRESTHA12/27/2006

I bought this for my girl this week, a far cry from the usual trendy fragrances she goes for most of the time. Armani Code has that little bit of a masculine note in it which I believe helps it be distinctive. It's totally sexy, warm, and mysterious, just the way I like on my woman. Armani Code for men is average but kudos for the women's version.

  • NILLA12/25/2006

for a fruity fragrance, armani code is surprisingly sexy. usually i go for orientals, but code has won me over. this is an appropriate scent for women of any age who want to feel beautiful. the ginger note is my favorite, i think. i recommend this to fellow oriental lovers wishing to broaden their perfume horizons.

  • NINA12/25/2006

this scent is sooooo boring, and it smells like soap..artificial, not interesting scent. not worth a penny

  • LEOPITSA12/15/2006

I Love this perfume I wear it on a daily basis my patients Love it the ask what I am wearing4 patients have gone out and bought it

  • CAROLYN12/10/2006

i tend to stick with the same perfume but decided to have a change, after testing many others this is deffinately my favourite by far lovely!

  • JORDS11/23/2006

I absolutely love this scent, its gorgeous and sexy. Ive actually got it on now and smelling beautiful whilst writing this! I would recomend it to anyone who wants to smell sexy and outa this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IONE11/13/2006

Strong, sexy, a little masculine. Have to be in the mood for it. Very polished scent to me, not icky notes that bother me.

  • T11/13/2006

A surprisingly good scent, reminds one slightly of Ck Be, Bvlgari Black, and even Geir Ness and Allure Sport, it has a perfect balance of light and darkness. I actually prefer this scent to the cologne version which is much less subtle and less relaxed than this near perfect scent. The light sweetness and dark richness of this scent is incredible!

  • MM11/10/2006

Was so looking forward to this fragrance but alas I already had the fragrance in my collection but it was known as Jean Paul Gaultier Classique - exactly the same fragrance so if you love Jean Paul - you'll love this.

  • COMMENT BY A MALE10/21/2006

This perfume caught my attention when I was talking to a friend at a party. It has a really nice fruity scent that's just right. However, unlike many fruity scents, it does not smell like a high school perfume. It fits perfectly in both business and formal event situations.

  • MARGARET10/15/2006

Obviously some do not have a sexy bone in their bodies. Code is by far the hottest fragrance going, alas not for some, which is fine as I'd prefer to be a standout with this fragrance. 11 out of 10 xxx

  • YOU KNOW WHO I AM10/07/2006

Armani used to do better but this is typical of the wave of vapid, generic, predictable, yawn inducing juices that have flooded the market of late. Mass quantities produced at lightspeed, sure. Effecting marketing, ok. But quality? Nah. Not these days. However in his defense, Armani is not the only one who gave up excellence for profit. They all do. But at least, this one is not outright offensive. It's more like a well dressed simpering and empty headed tart with absolutely nothing remotely interesting to say. Pretty to look at, though.

  • MAYA10/06/2006

Femme fatals must stick together. I detect spicy ginger warming up jasmine and lavendar. Not citrusy but a sensual spicy, vanilla woods drydown. Does have that hint of cheap man's cologne, but it just adds to that just rolled out of bed aura... alas, too sexy for me to wear. I have all I can handle already!

  • KYLIE09/27/2006

I love this scent. It starts out with orange notes and spicy ginger. I do detect some subtle traces of orange blossom as well. It dries down to a warm, not too sweet woody vanilla with hints of ginger on me. I have gotten more compliments on this fragrance than any other in my collection and I have alot of fragrances. It lasts all day on me, the matching lotion is wonderful as well.

  • ALLISON R.09/23/2006

I can not believe this scent hasn't recieved more reviews! If you love powdery, oriental, vanilla scents this one is for you. I wore a sample of this all summer, and it warmed so nicely with my skin, I was impressed. I could detect notes of orange peel and spices, sandalwood carries the body of the perfume. It leaves little scent trails that are so inviting. A very good choice for a perfume that you'd be able to wear year round and in any occasion, except for maybe the gym.

  • NASTASSIA09/19/2006

I've loved this scent on the men, and now we've got this scent too! It's mysterious, dark, and best of all, a standout. Just like me!
