This perfume should be discontinued. Smell like some kind of medicine or something. Usually I like E.Taylor perfumes but all of the 3 diamonds Emeralds, sapphires, and rubies all stink! White Diamonds is okay and sparkling white diamonds is nice but diamonds and emeralds smells nasty.

I have been wearing this since it came out. I absolutely love it. It's become my "signature scent". And--I constantly get compliments from men. There's something about it that attracts them...and my husband loves it on me as well! I wish I could buy this again in stores and not have to go online to get it.

  • JAZZIE12/20/2007

I think this smells like Coty's Emeraude, well like "Old Drunk Lady In A Bottle". Visions of Whiskey, Cigarettes and Body Odor spritz wth this fragrance. Not good.

  • ANN12/11/2007

Love this perfume.I have been wearing diamonds and emeralds for about five year, and I never get tired of this fragrance. I do have other perfumes that I wear but this is my favorits.

  • GRACIE PFALTZGRAF09/20/2007

This stuff smells like clam chowder and cigarettes with some oysters on the half shell thrown in. Its pretty potent!

  • TRLYN11/29/2006

I love this perfume more than any! And to my surprise, this is the only one that men comment on about how good I smell when I wear it. Please bring it back, I only have one bottle left.

I absolutily love this fragrence more than any. I've finally figured out a way to look it up and hopefully BUY IT (perfume emporium) but considering the messages i see here, It's looking like it's been long gone, even through the internet. Wish me luck---here i go.

Generally, I like Todd Oldham or either something Givenchish. But, my #1 is Todd Oldham. To my surprise, I found a brand new 6.8 oz tube of D & E in a thrift store for $1.95. I was shocked. It is a wonderfully blended fragrance. I actually not just like, but really love this fragrance. It is very classy and sophisticated. Really nice. Elizabeth Taylor, this is the 2nd nice surprise from you. . . Brilliant White Diamonds is great as well.

I love this perfume soooo much. I wish so bad that it would come back. I cannot find it anywhere. My husband loves it also!!!!!!!! I have had lots of people tell me how great it smells. I have even had people stop me in stores and tell me how great I smell when I am wearing it.

  • DEE JOH11/07/2002

This was absolutely awful. It was like nothing Ive ever smelled in my life. I can't even describe it. It was kind of mediciney and rancid...bad memories

  • VICKI08/30/2002

It is my favorite perfume ever!! Please Elizabeth bring it back. I am out of my Eau De Parfum now and can't find it anywhere.

  • JUSTINE07/26/2002

Has the dubious distinction of being one of the more bearable of Elizabeth Taylor's scents. Not exactly a winner...but okay.

  • BETHANY07/06/2002

Tried it, liked it. One of the fresher, gentler scents in the "Diamonds" Collection. Smelled good right from the get go, as previously posted. Lovely dry down. Soft, but not wimpy. Nice floral fragrance.

  • VONNI03/02/2002

This is a warm, soft fragrance, but I find it just a tad too sweet. I really have to be in the mood for all the gardenia and carnation in the heart notes of this one. If you want to smell soft and Laura Ashley-esque ultra frilly, this fragrance is for you.

  • STEPHANIE01/25/2002

A clean, warm, inviting scent! It has green floral top notes of gardenia, water lily, white rose; with a heart of muguet, jasmine and carnation; a base of amber, vetiver, patchouli, vanilla and musk. Very pleasant, not overpowering.

I received a bottle of Diamonds & Emeralds as a gift a couple of years ago. Since then, I can't find it anywhere. This is the only scent that I can wear that doesn't aggrivate my allergies, and that doesn't smell like the old ladies at a doctor's office. Where can I find this in Eastern North Carolina?

  • AMY V12/29/2001

Value City for 20 bucks in the jewelry dept. They had this locked in a case.

  • AIMEE12/19/2001

Fresh, light, clean - like shampooed hair. The softest of Elizabeth Taylor's.

  • NONI12/09/2001

for the thick skinned only.WILL INSPIRE A BUNCH OF CATTY COMMENTS from the envious.by the way this fragrance is on the money from the start and still has a spectacular drydown.VERY PRETTY like you know who.

  • LYNDA12/02/2001

but can't find this in local stores anymore. It's one of the better perfumes made.......soft but sensual. I've yet to find anything that compares.

  • CONNIE GUICE03/01/2001

I HAVE BEEN WEARING DIAMONDS & EMERALDS FOR YEARS, NOW I CNA'T BUY IT IN A STORE. WHY DO THEY NOT MAKE IT ANYMORE?

  • MARY09/29/2000

Why can't I find the perfume and not the spray or the Tiolette in the Diamonds and Emeralds brand? I love that perfume. Please help!
