I have been wearing this scent since the early '80's and it really is my signature fragrance. I love that others seem to love it as much as I do. It's a warm, inviting fragrance.

Creation have similar notes whith Mystere by Rochas Mystere notes : Base- Galbanum, cascarilla, coriander, hyacinth Midlle- Violet, narcissus, may rose, jasmine, tuberose, lily of teh valley, carnation, ylan-ylang, orris Base- Cypress, oakmoss, cedar wood, musk, civet, patchouli, styrax.

Had someone open a door back up and say 'you smell good'! On occasion I will blend two scents together. I test to see if it works. This works well by itself and works great with Jacomo's 'Aura', which I had on that day I got all the compliments!

Sylvie, I love your reviews and I find that we like the same fragrances - except Nude. You said you love it. I can't stand it. Different strokes..... Have you tried Sira des Indes or Missoni? These, along with Deep Night and Angel Schlesser Eseential have become my all time favorites. Wish I could settle on just one. Instead, I own MANY!!!!!!! I do love Jolie Madam, so I will have to try Creation.

*Creation* by Ted Lapidus is not very well-known and hard to find. So if you have problems to get Creation, please try the legendary vintage fragrance JOLIE MADAME by Balmain!! I have both fragrances in my collection and to my surprise Jolie Madame shares some very similar notes with CREATION. The mossy, warm and subtle sweet-leathery dry-down smells nearly similar! Both fragrances are chypre. This means not, that they smell exactly the same, but there is a nice and unmistakable similarity!Both fragrances smell very unique and outstanding. I wore this perfume for the first time years ago and fell in love with it....... but have found it very difficult to come across in shops etc., i have since bought it from Perfume Emporium at a fraction of the cost previously paid and i absolutely love it.... it has a beautiful woody fragrance with a hint of vanilla and musk... great for wearing thru the day or at night. it is my all time favourite of favourites and thank you for selling it......

I was given this perfume by a boyfriend when I was 20 years old and 15 years later I'm still wearing it and getting lots of compliments. It is a perfume you can wear every day and night. Very hard to find in the shops.

Last night we went to a perfume shop and I came across this scent. I wanted to try it since I like experimenting with "new" (to me) scents. I sprayed it on a card and the moment it "HIT" his nose he turned around instantly. Laughingly he says, "Ohhhh I hope you did not spray that on your skin!" LOL He thought it smelled like bathroom freshener. I cannot not really agree with that statement, but the scent really was very intense and knock-out strong. I will not be wearing this one to say the least. Just not me! But I can't help but wonder what it would be like on the skin and how it would transform after wearing it for a while. LOL

the best part is the woody scent. not too creative. down on my list of perfumes. could be alot better. missing something. disappointment

NO MATTER WHERE I AM WHEN I HAVE IT ON, SOMEONE ALWAYS SAYS, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING, IT SMELLS WONDERFUL. SO I TELL THEM CREATION.

I wore a sample of Creation the first time I saw Grosse Pointe Blank. I have worn it ever since. I call it John Cusack's perfume.

I love Creation I receive lots of comments on what I'm wearing. Men and women seem to really like it,as well as I do.

great smelling trendy evening fragrance score 10+ headachey,sicky,annoying score 10+ USE SPARINGLY FAR FROM NOSE.

I think this is a very boring perfume that reminds me of nothing. I can think of no reason whatsoever to wear this.
