Altitude is quite different from the original. I prefer the orignal swiss. This stuff is much muskier, and a bit more generic smelling.

  • TIM05/16/2009

THIS FRAGRANCE IS A DISGRACE TO THE SWISS ARMY NAME IT STINKS ITS BORING AND ITS UNATTRACTIVE I GAVE IT A 3 STAR REVIEW 4 YEARS AGO WHICH WAS COMPLETELY INACCURATE MY NEW ONE STAR REVIEW IS APPROPRIATE

  • BRIAN08/06/2007

I've been using Swiss Army orginal and Altitude for the last few years but living in England we can not buy it over here. I'm glad I have the internet to purchase online. It's the best eau de toilette on sale - buy it and see for yourselves!

  • BRAD11/25/2006

I bought this after I ran out of the original and wasn't really impressed

  • IZZY10/07/2006

Great fragrance! Really good, from what I have noticed is that younger women dig it big time.

  • BIGNUTZ09/17/2006

First time trying a scent from this designer and not bad at all. Not exactly a babe-magnet type of scent but good for sporty/outdoorsy use.

  • PERFUME LOVER04/30/2006

I've been using this cologn for a year now, and just can't get enough of its woody scent mixed with the sensual (flora) side, one thing amazing about this cologn is when ur sweating or feeling really hot it smells the best (i guess when it evaporates and dilute a little in the air)..it lasts quite long as well

  • Z.G. ARCHIBALD04/08/2006

Not a bad floral cologne has some woody and spicy hints in it that make it good for both day and evening wear but seems better worn outdoors.

  • N2DBLU01/21/2006

Interesting and unique fragrance from the designer can be used day or evening particularly for casual or sport use. I am actually amazed this selection contains ylang-ylang which is more commonly used in the higher up more luxurious and elegant colognes.

  • 3DSTYLEZ12/14/2005

It has a very different and, llike the subject title, a unique scent. It's either a hate it or love it state when it comes to this cologne. I love the scent of altitude, but there are other better ones.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE12/14/2005

This is a really nice all-around casual scent which to me smells lemony and musky even though some of the notes include ylang-ylang, mint and lavender and no lemon or musk. Always getting good compliments.

  • GRAMMATON CLERIC11/12/2005

Pleasant enough lemony scent has a decent musky drydown but average lasting power.

  • J. YORK10/03/2005

I agree with M.R. about this fragrance smelling a bit like KC's BLACK with its lemony/musky feel except that this one doesn't have the mint and is less bold and powering.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI08/18/2005

Dumb idea. Cutting out 75% of the original formula and accenting moss and cedar to make it a kind of greener scent which is supposed to evoke an amber-free outdoors, as Mother Nature apparently dislikes chestnuts, fir, musk and everything else that made the original one so good. If I want green I'll get Montana , Duc de Vervins, Esencia Lowe etc. Stick to the original Swiss Army

  • M.R.07/20/2005

A rather unique scent that smells a bit on the lemony side and for some crazy reason, reminds me a bit of KC's Black. I kind of like this one better and it's not too commonly worn either.

  • D.ROD01/22/2005

This is the best cologne ever. It makes me fall more in love with my fiance, everytime he wears it.

  • TIM12/30/2004

this scent is OK nothing special in my opinion it smells like a pine tree on me don't know if thats a good or bad thing i can't see it attracting ladies either i hope it does that would boost it from 3 to 4 stars

  • DON12/07/2004

That's because the base is genuine Alpine sweat. Harvested fresh from the skiers as they come off the slops.

  • AMAR10/06/2004

well it smells very nice! i guess every1 will like it plus its really good long lasting ! :) enjoyyy this 1 only

  • ROB H.06/17/2004

Unique scent probably contains some lemon and musk which provide for a rather pleasing aroma that doesn't smell like sweat.

  • DAVID04/22/2004

I don't know what's so special about this fragrance. It smells like sweat on me, and I'm not sweaty. Well, I smell like it when I wear this stuff. I should have just stuck with the regular Swiss Army cologne....that stuff smells awesome.

  • R.J.04/07/2004

THIS IS BAD TO THE BONE IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. ANOTHER STRONG WEAPON IN THE ARSENAL OF THE SWISS ARMY.

  • W.B.02/06/2004

THIS GREAT SCENT REALLY DEFIES GRAVITY TO THE FULLEST. THE WOMEN WILL ALSO AGREE. ANOTHER FINE ARSENAL CREATED BY THE SWISS ARMY.

  • SW11/12/2003

Smells great, the combo of mint+bergamot is a fantastic scent. And it is not too strong nor sweet. Nice pleasent dry down whilst still preserving the top noted smell of mint and bergamot. A winner.

  • SKJUT-GIRL03/26/2003

Whenever my boyfriend wears this I just melt! Awesome!

  • BETH10/25/2002

    Great!!!
