  • BL05/17/2015

It smells great, I am enjoying it

  • MARGUERITE01/02/2013

For the wonderful feeling of luxury and a scent that lasts order Tresor by Lancome, Luxury fragrance for pennies on the value.

  • LYNNE10/20/2012

    Love this perfume

  • HAYDEE01/19/2012

    TRESOR IS EXCELLENT

  • ELSIE 10/18/2011

Is for the confident woman, for the lady who knows who and where she is going it reflects that in its scent a superior convidence..romance all of that...if u are her buy it!

  • PAT 05/02/2011

This is one of the most alluring and sensual scents I have ever used. Evidently, its chemistry and my body chemistry are a perfect match. There are men who come into my store for the single purpose of getting close enough to me to enjoy the Tresor. Special friends comment every time I wear it (which is every day - layered beginning with the shower gel, the body cream, and the spray). I am like some of the other people on this board. I try to wear something else; I love the way Hypnose behaves on me - but I never get the comments that I get when I wear Tresor. So, I wear only Tresor'....

  • ROSETTA CHIAPPETTA07/16/2010

I absolutley love this fragrance. I have been wearing it since it was launced at Eaton's in Toronto, Ontario Canada in 1990. The sales rep gave me a sample of the frangrance, body lotion, and shower gel, and I have been hooked ever since. I am constantly being told how lovely I smell when I wear this fragrance. I have tried others over the years, but I alway return to Tresor. I am wanting to get married with Tresor in mind. Any one have any ideas for bridal bouquets suggestions that would enhance and not contrast with the Tresor on my wedding day?

  • SASHA10/19/2009

I was so excited to receive the Tresor Body Lotion to layer with the EDP that I bought but it doesn't smell anything like Tresor. I'm not sure if I will keep this.

  • GINSOULE04/19/2009

I tried this scent when I was 27. I adored it. This perfume was amde for me. I've been using it for 20 years. I have tried many other nice perfumes through the years... but Tresor outranks them all. I will wear this scent forever. I never tire of it, and I am always complimented ~ by men and women ~ when I wear it!

  • AMY04/12/2009

Hi There! do yourself a favor and buy a bottle of tresor. you deserve to treat yourself! as you mentioned, tresor smells great. no surprise why it's so popular! take care, amy

  • SHERIDAN ELLIS07/10/2008

I sooooo wanted to like this! I purchased a gift set this late spring and I ended up returning the whole thing. It smelled great in the bottle, great on the blotter paper, and it turned sour-ie and weird on my skin. I love the peachy/apricot notes and vanilla. If you can wear it you are lucky. It is a more mature scent in my oppinion. I love the lancome Hypnose though. If you have not smelled that one, give it a try and make sure you let it set and dry down before your decision...it is very comforting and nurturing in scent.

  • ELA 02/18/2008

I Love this fragrances is traditionally my favorites for 16 years and I thank for the good times we share together I recommended for special occasions.

  • MARY L.12/13/2007

WOW!! I received a sample of this delicious scent in another perfume order and never thought I would like this perfume as much as I do. I could not stop smelling my wrists. I bought the large Christmas gift set and am absolutely thrilled with it. I usually tire easily of perfumes and have several so that I can change them often but I can't reach for anything else! I simply love it!

  • DEBS10/30/2007

my friend gave me a little sample of it and i loved it i cherish it until i could have bought one for myself i just love this scent

  • JOANNAH09/17/2007

I strangely haven't bought it yet. I sampled it for the first time in my teens back in the mid 90s but couldn't afford it and besides my dad wouldn't allow me to wear perfume. I know someone else said younger women might not like it. Well, I'm 30 but a very young 30 and have liked it for nearly 15 years now. No, I've loved it! It's just that all my Lancomes have been gifts and sadly no one's bought me this one yet. I expect it to be as good as any of the others and last just as long which for me is many hours!

  • BARBARA W07/21/2007

I think of Tresor as a mature version of Poeme. It also smells more traditionally French. I doubt young girls will like it, but I'm 40 and have come to appreciate it more over the years. Must be used with a light hand, though; it's very strong.

  • SAVANNAH07/12/2007

I agree with the person who commented that this is exclamation by coty. Exact same smell.

  • DEWY MIST07/03/2007

i think this scent is lovely on others. I enjoy smelling this on other people, but I don't think I would pair with this perfume too well. Though on others it's so nice.

  • JULIET05/26/2007

This perfume is horrible!!!!! It is by far the most nausiating scent I have every encountered. I really would blame someone for kicking me in the shins I if were stuck in an elevator with them and they had to put up with this scent. What makes matters worse is the fact that I just sprayed a touch of it on me and I can't get it to go away. Do yourself a favor and listen to those husbands who thought it was gross. They were right!!!!

  • CHRISTIAN GIRL05/08/2007

i love tresor, it smell sweet and creamy like a cream sickle orange bar. this is truly one of my many favorites, very long lasting also.

  • ANITA WILLIAMS04/30/2007

I recalled wearing this stuff years ago. All of a sudden the name just het me recently and I purchased some more. I love it! Over the years, I could not recall the name, but I remembered the scent and the bottle. I always get compliments on it in the morning on the subway.

  • CLAIRE03/21/2007

When this perfume was first released, I wasn't that keen on it and so years later whenI was given a gift set of perfume, shower gel and body lotion, I thought that I would never use it. I was pleasant ly urprised. Layering the fragrance was lovely. I keep using the perfume when I want something a little unusual - when first applied it is very fruity, peaches and apricots, and then becomes more oriental. It really depends what mood I'm in. I can't say that it's one of my all time favourite scents but it is distinctive and as with all Lancome perfume is complex and has great staying power. All in all very classy!

  • CAROL12/20/2006

5 Stars for tresor. I was wearing it when I went into the building to visit my doctor, as I came out another woman was also coming out from another office and asked me what fragrance I was wearing, she said the fragrance was beautiful and she was going to buy it. I love it. I occassionally wear others, but, I go back to Tresor. It's lovely. Everyone should try it.

  • LV11/22/2006

I like Jacub's description of Tresor. It is just like that: sweet-sensual, appealing and sexy, you just want to come closer to wearer. The perfumer (creator) of Tresor, Sophia Grojsman, said she wanted to make a 'hug-me', 'come closer' fragrance...and she did.

  • JAKUB10/10/2006

I find the latest Lancome fragrances to be one of a kind, very distinct from other stuff on the market and very much timeless. I have especially in mind Poeme, Tresor, Hypnose and Miracle. They last very long. Even when you can't smell them on you anymore, others can. To me their charm lies in applying very little, which is great, as a bottle will last you months. I just love it when a girl walks past and I catch a tiny whiff of the scent. When I comment, there is always a surprise: "I can't smell it anymore, I sprayed it hours ago!". You get what I mean? This is sexy, you want to come closer to smell more. The drawback of the Lancome fragrances is that when sprayed with a heavy hand, they cause people around you to faint, vomit and do other things that have side effects on their health and personalities for possibly their whole lives. I was once having breakfast at the Hyatt 7am and a lady walked past me smelling of Poeme. Help! But if I smelt it on her in the evening in a small amount, I am sure I would have liked it. As for Tresor: lovely, young, sweet, sexy, makes you feel like eating the wearers neck. Of course when used sparengly, otherwise you would never get there!

  • LISA08/21/2006

The formula has changed..I detect it too...it used to be one of my favorites :( The perfume companies don't seem to care if we all end up with cancer due to the 500 plus chemicals it takes to make their fragrance...by the way it only costs them about $6 a bottle to produce and we pay so much for these inferior products.

  • VANYA08/09/2006

I recommend you to try Tresor Printemps, limited edition released for Tresor 15th Anniversary. It has more rose notes into it and it is very chic and feminine.

  • MAHOGANI82107/23/2006

SIGNATURE SCENT.. LOVE IT. FEMININE, AND IT LASTS. UNLIKE OTHER EXSPENSIVE PARFUMS THAT U SPEND UR WHOLE PAYCHECK ON AND AN HOUR LATER, NO AROMA AT ALL, I LOVE LANCOME FOR THIS ONE.EWWW... SMELL OF BEAUTY. GO FOR IT LADIES

  • SHERRY05/02/2006

I smelled a brand new tester recently and thought the same thing... It's not as rich and deep as it used to be:( I'm not sure what's missing.

  • DEBWOOD02/20/2006

Fresh, sweet and long lasting. One of the best.Spray it once and it stays. The only way I will buy! It's hard to find one that smells wonderful and has staying power also.

  • RAJUL02/19/2006

could not attatch myself to this one !!! it smelt like syrup and was difficult to finish ! never repeated it......obviously !!

  • MS THANG01/02/2006

THis perfume is really nice and does not over power it's lotion like some perfumes do. You don't need much it's not loud but a little goes far so ladies you have this for a while.

  • LADYBUG12/16/2005

Right out of the bottle it wrinkled my nose. Maybe your chemistry will soften it some, but on me it was just strong and sharp and gave me an incredible headache.

  • PERFUMEAHOLIC12/09/2005

Smells very nice. A little sweet but nice for the cold weather.

  • PAULINA11/23/2005

Oh darn, unfortunately my husband does not like this one, so I have stopped wearing it.. It makes me sad, as I truly consider Tresor one of the best perfumes ever.

  • DAYLE RN10/10/2005

A friend and myself were at Mall, and decided to sample this fragrance (bottle caught our eyes). We both sampled and I also sprayed a blotter to stick in my purse. After several hours of walking around, we revisited our scents on our wrists. I was a warm vanilla/apricot/amber, and she was 'green' edged 'old' floral. Go figure. I took a whiff of my blotter this morning, and it was fresh floral with peachy top notes. no hint at all of the vanilla/amber my skin still had after showering this morning! No doubt, scents are a biological and personal endeaver, and I imagine can change on you over time, as your body chemistry changes as well.

  • DARLA09/20/2005

Love this scent; warm and rich. It invites those closeby to come a little closer and smell my neck which is a good thing (er, most of the time!).

  • SANDY09/18/2005

tresor is fantastic, i love the clean scent and it is light yet long lasting i think this is by far one of my favorites.

  • LEA08/28/2005

I too think that Lancome has changed the formula of Tresor. It used to be a heavenly warm, soft and sensual fragrance with "full-bodied", rounded olfactory composition, but the EDP's that I've purchased in last 5 years or so seemed quite different to me: sharper and more tart, somehow artificial and cheap, not so fine any more. What happened??? If they have changed the forumula it is such a SHAME!

  • YUKSEL08/17/2005

One of the women who wrote comments about this perfume was said that it might be a change in the formula or the ingredients of this perfume. I've used several times throughout last ten years. I found it very nive most of the time but when I bought a 3.4 oz bottle in 2002, I really feel that it smells somehow different. It caused me feel sick and had headaches. But the smell reminds me good old days and I still want to give a new chance to it.

  • PERFUMECHIQUITA08/13/2005

Tresor is a very pretty and romantic perfume--but I find it, more so than other florals can be heavy and sweet. I was shopping at an outdoor sale when an older lady walked by, her perfume wafting in the breeze--yet in the heat it was so heavy floral cloying, I was starting to get nauseated and disgusted--I had to get away from her! I'm pretty sure she was wearing tresor, sadly!Obviously this woman felt she had to pour the bottle on her head. So please, please ladies I bid you, a quick spritz is ALL you need. (but thankfully most perfume fans know it is disgusting to swim in your scent.) Also, is Tresor an old perfume? I thought it came out in the 90's but I read somewhere it was around in the 50's. did lancome relaunch this or something?

  • SUE06/01/2005

I have never been stopped so many times to be asked what perfume was i wearing and my husband can't keep his hands off of me.

  • KATHRYN05/17/2005

I treated myself to a bottle of this fragrance for Mother's Day and I will never regret it. I love it so much, I put it on when I wake up, in the afternoon, in the evening, and always before I go to bed!! My kids will always remember their mom by this fragrance!

  • LIZZIE05/11/2005

I like the idea of Tresor...the notes sound like they would make a beautiful olfactory combination, but for some reason it smells too sharp to me. I can't detect any of the fruity notes...just sharp, harsh florals and amber. My mother wears this perfume, and it smells luxuriously elegant on her. Maybe it's just too sophisticated for me--it smells like an elegant, big-hearted, older woman. I like softer, more sugary florals. Anyway, it's very strong...lots of staying power, and definitely doesn't smell like everything else on the market.

  • SIDNEY 04/14/2005

I love this perfume!!!!!!!!!!!!! my mom does to. she always gets it. I think its a very femineme scent and I love the bottle. If you have a chance go and buy tresor. If your not interested You should get the lotion. Tresor is one of my top three choices for perfume.

  • ANGELA04/08/2005

This is complete sophistication in a bottle. Very soft fragrance it is truly one to be one for special occasions I think.

  • EILEEN03/29/2005

Or, at least, that's what I first thought when I tried this perfume several years ago. I was impressed by all the positive comments that I'd read. Funny, though, I tried it again recently and found that I really liked the scent, enough so to purchase it. One cannot always go by first, or even second impressions. I found this to be the case with Lolita Lempicka, as well. I wish that my distaste for Angel would similarly metamorphose.

  • TERESA03/27/2005

this is my signature fragrance and i get tons of compliments everytime i wear it. but lately it has a different smell on me...kind of...musty...i wonder if they have changed the ingredients or my body chemistry changing

  • RR03/24/2005

I used to really like this about 5 years ago, but now I find it too cloying. I don't enjoy it on others either, it's just too strong for me now.

  • MARIA03/23/2005

It is , sad but true. I have bought JOY last christmas, spent 170 CAD, and it does not smell the same like an old one. Maybe, it is time to stop buying all the new synthetic fragrances, and spend your money on smthing else.

  • G.G.03/22/2005

I always thought this smelled so good on me and have received many compliments from men. Recently a friend has started wearing it alot and I don't even like the smell. I think to myself, is this how I smell too? Can't believe it as I have worn it for years and just does not seem to be the same.

  • BEBE03/22/2005

spirits of a forbidden treasure. tresor. eidance. found the key. worth a million dollars or more very nice

  • PERFUMELOVER03/06/2005

This was a favorite first perfume of my when I was going through a young sweet vanilla phase..... it was the only high end perfume back then I could find with a vanilla undertone..... mind you its not entirely vanilla...... it has something else.... maybe musk......it is funny but today I find it somewhat cloying but to many I'm sure it is a nice fragrance...... great for those of you who lean towards warm vanilley scents..... I love warm scents and fresh scents but have strayed quite a bit generally from vanilla........

  • ANNETTE02/28/2005

to the lady who says that Tresor reeks, obviously doesn't have much taste. I have worked for Lancome as a beauty adivsor, and just to let you all know that tresor is rated number4 on the top 10 list of best selling fragrances. That many women can't be wrong. Of COURSE, if you drench yourself in ANY fragrance, it's not a good thing, but if you put it on the correct way, which is to spray it in the air, then walk through it, there should be no problems 'reeking'. I guess some women just don't know this.

  • JULIELOU02/25/2005

Tresor is one fragrance that will drive men crazy. My only regreat is that I wasted so much of the fragrance on a man neither appreciated me nor this wonderful fragrance. Don't throw your Tresor pearls to swine!

  • ANNA01/16/2005

I think they key is not to overdo it. Just a hint smells great!

  • ANNA01/16/2005

I just got it. It is definately a different perfum. Smells warm and sexy. I like it!

  • SHARRIE12/29/2004

tresor a true treasure. unique. classy. defined. one of my favs.wonderful.very elegant.

  • SHARRIE12/21/2004

tresor very classy. leaves a ghost aroma. rich and bold. as strong as my heart beating weariing tresor. a triple digit. wonderful

  • OLATZ12/07/2004

One of the other reviewers said that her husband hates Tresor, well my husband hates it too. I was spritzed in Bloomingdales by an overly enthusiastic sales woman and the scent stayed with me for the next 8 hrs. When I got home my husband wanted to know what I reeked of! The scent is described as fruity, sweet, for the woman who wants to be noticed. You will be very noticed because they will smell you before you enter the room. This is another one of those sickeningly strong sweet fragrances (Je Reviens is another that comes to mind). I don't care for any Lancome fragrance.

  • M&M11/21/2004

This is a real gem. Not too "retro" like older classic perfumes, halfway between Floral and Oriental, alluringly sweet but not cheap, not so plain and trendy like those new fragrances...This is a modern classic, I would say. Men like it a lot. It is warm and comforting, but not too heavy.

  • CC11/20/2004

reminds me of Nahema by Guerlain(it's more complex) and Ellen Tracey.

  • MONIKA10/16/2004

The best. I love it. I have a bookcase full of designer fragrances and Tresor is the # 1. I'm always in the mood for Tresor. The scent stays on for a long time.

  • RENI #109/04/2004

I'm sure that Lancome has changed the original Tresor EDP formula. This stuff is not the same like it was 10 years ago and it has nothing to do with my body chemistry. Some other Tresor fans told me that, too. I heard recently from the well informed lady that almost all big perfumery houses have changed the formulas of their great, classic perfumes: they changed natural and expensive ingredients for synthetic and cheaper, of course. She told me that Chanel's No 5 and Coco, as well as Opium and Must de Cartier, are not today what they used to be - the price is the same of course, but the quality is not. Well, as a faithful Tresor fan I'm so sad when I remember my good old Tresor that was so rich, full, soft and warm fragrance. This one (my last 2 bottles) is much more synthetic, arificially sweet and much more "cheap" and trendy in general impression. For good old times I'm giving here 5 stars for OLD and original Tresor.

  • V.V.2004.08/17/2004

This is a great fragrance if you have the right body chemistry for it: it is not too loud, it is subtle and ultra-feminine, softly sexy. Semi-Oriental, for those who can't wear pure Orientals...

  • NEL08/12/2004

Hi G.G. you ask about other great smelling fragrances, try ( Very Irresistible ) by GIVENCHY, also try ( Sicily ) by Dolce & Gabana. Never go by what a fragrance smells like when you first spray it on, wait for the dry down, maybe an hour or even a little longer, because of the top note, middle note, and base note. Hope you find what you like, good luck. Nel

  • EVELYN07/23/2004

Tresor does not exactly smell bad. One sniff and you may even like it. But when you try to wear it it's a different story. Then it's too loud and even sickening. The fragrance is based heavily on a few notes, lacks detail and subtlety, hence the loudness. I don't treasure it.

  • SUZANNE07/16/2004

Let's just say this fragrance didn't really blend with my body chemistry. I received a sample when it first came out and of course was delighted by the interesting bottle. But when I tried the perfume - I found it a little bit scary, actually. Fermenting fruits and funeral flowers is what it smelled like on me. Smelling it is like having a hangover! I gave it away and was really surprised to recently learn that it has been one of the top-selling perfume in the industry since its launch. Hmmmmm.

  • PAZZO06/29/2004

The name is appropriate.I really treasure this one.G.G. maybe u could try beautiful by estee.I like that one a lot too.

  • G.G.06/27/2004

I Love Tresor and have worn it for years. It is one fo the few scents my husband likes. But i just wanted to try something new and can't find a thing i like. I was wondering if other Tresor lovers had any recommendations!

  • ROSETTA06/17/2004

I have an incureable obsession with fragrances and costmetics. But when I found Tresor(back when it was introduced in Toronto at Eaton's) I fell in love with it. In between bottles, I have tried other fragrances, but I always return to Tresor. It's the one fragrance that I always get compliments on. I plan on wearing the fragrance when I get married. Any one out there have any idea of which flowers to choose for the bouquet that will match the scent?

  • KAREN06/14/2004

I always loved this scent, but felt it was too strong and overwhelming. I just purchased the eau de toilette, which is a lighter version of the original. I love it!!!!!!!!

  • CARMEN05/30/2004

absolutely amazing. It enters your senses and gives you a feeling of bliss. Made for a woman with confidence and assertiveness; the scent won't go unnoticed.

  • NEL05/23/2004

How can some say that Tresor is to strong, i think they have it cofused with Maggie Noir, also by Lancome. Nice fragrance but a bit to heavy on the patchouli. Tresor is so beatifull and feminine,i get lots of compliments from both men & women.

  • SAMIUN04/30/2004

It is really beautiful, the best part i love about is that the smell stay, and it's not too strong and not too light, Just Perfect.

  • SAMIUN04/28/2004

this is the second bottle, that i have bought for myself, made sure i have the big bottle this time. I just simple love the smell.

  • RICK'S WIFE04/27/2004

I have been using both deodrant and EDP as a set for 9 years. The deodrant itself has a nice scent, but it's so mild one thinks that it's not as effective as EDP. However, several months ago I was given a complement by my co-worker that I have very nice aroma, but as I didn't bother to wear EDP that day. Then it suddenly occured to me that I sprayed deodrant under my arms (it's my habit each morning), and my co-worker was mentioning that subtle aroma. Now I know it's quite effective. I would go ahead for deo if I were you, because you like EDP. I myself cannot live without the convenient morning ritual & freshness of Tresor.

  • CUTEGLADIATOR04/21/2004

i think as a guy this thing reeks and is horrible

  • JONES04/02/2004

Is the deo version of the perfume as strong and long lasting as the EDP? I love tresor. It has been my favorite perfume for the past 10 years! I am just wondering if investing in the deo is worth it(since its cheaper)?

  • MARTIE03/30/2004

I liked this one for a couple of weeks because it has the sweet candy component to it. It is definitely feminine and powerful. It has major floral elements in it and I think that's why I quit wearing it. I just can't do florals no matter how hard I try. This is the only one I've bought that my boyfriend didn't like. (Of course he doesn't like florals either). However, if you like strong florals that are sweet and unique, you'll love this one. (I'm just a fresh, fruity, vanilla woman) :D

  • ERIC03/05/2004

If it was so bad why did Maggie buy it? Duh. This smells great, it's just your chemistry that doesn't allow it to smell the way it's supposed to.

  • JEWEL02/25/2004

but it can get a bit cloying. Reminds me of very sweet jelly-like candies. Champs Elysees smells sort of like it but better.

  • NEL02/23/2004

Hi Staphanie, i also have the taller bottle of TRESOR edp like yours, i think the bottle that is shorter & wider is a tester bottle that they use in the department stores, tester bottles are usualy different.

  • STEPHANIE02/14/2004

My EDP perfume bottle of Tresor is slimmer & taller than the one pictured on here and the ones I see at displays in stores. I've always wondered why that is. And my bottle isn't old. I bought it sometime in mid 2002. I've just always wondered why my bottle is like that & if anyone else has a bottle like mine? And to describe the bottle again it is tall and slim and doesn't sit like a triangle or pyramid type bottle (best way I know to describe it) like the usual ones but it's thinner and easily grasped in the hand with the spray top on top.

  • MAGGIE02/12/2004

I think you are very right there, analisa, the fragrances don't change--it's "our" chemistry that does over the years

  • MAGGIE02/12/2004

Bought it once but never again..the scent is "nothing to write home to "Ma" about", and it has the worst "stay with you" properties of any fragrance I have "EVER" tried.

  • ANALISA02/02/2004

I really don't think Treasor has changed, but if you are on medication, menapause, began or stopped smoking, use different soaps, like deoderant soaps all these things can effect your fragrance. I sold fragrances for over 8 years, and I have never known one company that changed it's formula. Hope this helps.

  • ANALISA02/02/2004

I was working with Lancome as a sales person when they launched it and have worn it faithfully. I have moved on but I kept this little treasure. It is my signature fragrance. I also recommend Poeme.

  • NANCY 02/01/2004

this smells so good attracts men

  • NANCY 01/29/2004

I LOVE THIS PERFUME IT'S THE ULTIMATE FEMININE SCENT I HAVE USED OTHER PERFURMES AND I KEEP COMING BACK TO THIS ONE AND HAVE TO AGREE WITH SOME OF THE GIRLS ON HERE GUYS JUST LOVE THIS ONE GET COMPLIMENTED ON IT ALL THE TIME

  • DALIA G.01/25/2004

Yes, you are right: I noticed too that the perfume could smell different (or at least it seams so to me) depending is it in 30, 50 or 100 ml bottle...though I don't know how is that possible!!!??? (Maybe some of you on the board know?) Thank you for your answer, I hope that Lancome will never change the formula of Tresor! Sorry for my english - THANK YOU!

  • AMANDA01/03/2004

I don't think Tresor's formula was changed as such. What I feel is that it's very marginally different from batch to batch. The one I have in the bottle (30ml) has just a bit more fruity, refreshing & apricot-oriented tone. I bought almost 7 bottles in the past, but they are slightly more rosy warm & deep. That is why I only use the 30 ml one for special occasions. I keep this odd bottle for more than 5 years. I've been using deodorant spray as well, and it's always the same.

  • AMANDA01/02/2004

I've been wearing it for almost 10 years, yet never been bored. This perfume reminds me of delicious refreshing fruits which is incredibly subtle. I am going to wear it forever!!

  • JESSICA01/01/2004

this is an excellent example of fine perfumery!!! it lingers and lasts and is opulent, rich, romantic, yummy, sexy and beautiful-i've been told it's for older women but i'm hooked,it is a classic...these new scents just don't hold up!!!!

  • CARAVAN01/01/2004

Tresor is a softer, filmier, version of a sweet oriental. It is like a Mediterranean villiage in Sicily or Spain, sensual, with fruity breezes and warm florals. It is delicious and softly sensual. Mysterious but inviting.

  • DEE12/29/2003

It is one of the most romantic fragrances I've come across in awhile. The scent is very captiving. way to go Lancome!

  • LYNETTE12/28/2003

Everyone who hugs me says Mmmm you smell lovely or yummy

  • MARY K.12/17/2003

Maybe I am tooo picky, but this is just too floral for me!! Don't like it at all.

  • DALIA G.12/08/2003

I have a question for a "longterm users" of Tresor. Do you think that the original EDP formula has been changed?? Or it is only my chemistry? Or is it only my imagination?? Please answer and THANK YOU!

  • ALITA11/17/2003

I used to wear this scent every time I went out and it made me feel as if I was bathing in pure luxury; it's so rich and luxurious and you get the sense that it is very precious and uncommon. Lasts for ages and I always got compliments when I wore it. I have to get myself some more pretty soon!!!

  • SAUNDRA11/16/2003

Guys love it and I feel incredibly beautiful when I'm wearing it!

  • APRIL11/03/2003

Pretty Perfume for being dressed up pretty or having on a nice sweater and jeans...always smells so nice

  • SHIRLEY10/28/2003

HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE SINCE IT CAME OUT!! tURNS MY "HONEY ON"!! I LOVE IT.

  • ABIGAIL10/08/2003

...it's too powdery sweet; gives me a bit of that gag reflex. I like most Lancome products but Tresor isn't my style.

  • CHERYL10/03/2003

The best thing about this fragrance is that my co-workers always know when i'm in the building. Oddly enough, another lady had on this same scent and i was not at work, they wondered if i was hiding somewhere.

  • CHERYL09/28/2003

The best thing about this fragrance is that whenever I wear it to work,my colleagues always know when i enter the building, and strangely enough, another lady wore this and I was not at work, they wonder if I'm hiding somewhere.

  • CARA MARIA09/22/2003

This scent is so addicting that I have stopped wearing any of my other perfumes. I do not wear the EDP or Perfume. I only use the lotion, body cream, shower gel (the frosty looking one...not the clear one) - I recently ordered the pressed scented powder though have not received it yet. If you use this in the lotion strength it won't over power you or give you a headache and I can still smell the scent the next morning! I keep a tube in my purse in case I want to refresh the scent etc. I love it, love it, love it but, cannot wear the spray perfume or EDP...haven't tried the EDT if there is one...

  • LISA09/20/2003

My husband used to work for a major dept store-he said this was the worst smell ever and for old people. I'm glad I don't have it! I've smelled it, and it's way too strong and sweet

  • JUDY O.07/14/2003

Wonderfully sented for a true woman!!!!!

  • KATHRYN07/14/2003

Of all my scents right now this is the one I consider the most elegant. A rich floral--but not like something your grandmother would wear. I love it!

  • DORA06/29/2003

I love to smell it on other women, but I can`t stand it on my skin. It`s to powdery and tender, but I must say that some women know how to wear it.

  • JENNIE05/11/2003

I spent a summer working in Europe and wore this perfume (about 6 years ago) - it was perfect for that time in my life and maybe that's why I still love it. It reminds me so much of that time and the smell of summer. I often try other fragrances, but I always come back to this scent.

  • ANNA LEE04/30/2003

this perfume has class! it smells wonderful it is strong but suitable for work though.

  • MALIA04/14/2003

It really depends on what kind of smells you like. Some people can't take Tresor at all, and some people love it. I personally, love it. It's warm, and the last note so comferting! It makes me feal relaxed and it gives me confidance.

  • LEA 0302/21/2003

Hi, Norah! Perfume is very similar to EDP, almost the same but stronger and more longlasting. It will last all day on your skin and linger on your clothes. It is very warm and sexy. You need only a few drops, of course. On my skin Tresor is not exactly floral or friuty as many of you describe it. It is floral-oriental, very soft and never offensive. Ultra feminine!

  • APRIL02/13/2003

    Pretty perfume...Lancome's best!

  • STEPHANIE02/13/2003

Well, I wear the EDP and it smells great on me. I guess, of course, just depends on your chemistry. I don't know about the actual parfum, since I usually can't afford the parfums to try them out. Maybe someone else will know.

  • J LO02/06/2003

I couldn't figure out what everyone liked in this perfume. It is too strong. My friend wears it and put entirely too much on. Just not one of my picks.

  • DEBRA02/06/2003

My straightlaced hubby goes wild for this one. He likes that it smells clean, not cloying, but sexy and flirty too... "good girl gone bad", in his words. Just a little bit, does it.

  • MIA02/06/2003

Well, my husband adores Tresor - says it is the most sexy and the most alluring perfume ever ( and I've tried a lot of them!), and he doesn't suffer from the brain damage as Suzi said in the previous message (on the contrary!!! - his brain is in great condition and he has a lot of style). I can also ad that I wear Tresor for about ten years and I got a lot of compliments - I've noticed that men are crazy about that fragrance and women are always very interested about what I am wearing. By the way, I experienced many times that some woman ask me "Oh, what are you wearing, it is so beautiful!" and when I answered "Tresor" she said: "Oh, I had Tresor, but it didn't smell like that on me at all". It is funny thing that women who had Tresor and wore it for some time couldn't even recognize this scent on me. So, I think that it smells different on everyone and this is definitely the matter of body chemistry. Tresor blends so well with my skin that it is almost my natural skin smell, but more sexy, warm and subtle. Of course I don't bath in a perfume and I'm sure that layering is the best thing. When you use shower gel plus body lotion or body cream (there some new very nice Tresor body products recently - body oil, powder, body mist etc.) you need only a few drops of perfume or just one-two sprays of EDP and the faboulous smell will hug you for a whole day. I was lucky to discover Tresor!

  • SUZI02/03/2003

I have vomited at the first hint of this horrible chemical agent. It would be better used in chemical warfare. If you are complimented on this perfume, please realize that the person has already experienced brain damage, and is delirious.

  • CAROL KORBAR01/20/2003

i only wear 2 different perfumes and tresor is the best. i always get compliments when i wear it from both men and women

  • KAREN01/13/2003

I had stopped and smelled it before, than got a small sample bottle, and loved it. I had to have it! Now I own it. It has great staying power, not like some that are gone in a couple of hours and you have to re-apply. Not with this. What a wonderful fragrance! This is a keeper for me!

  • NORAH01/10/2003

I love the way Tresor smells however, once the EDP touches my skin, the initial sweetness fades away very quickly and it turns into an awful stench. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the pure perfume is better than the EDP or if they are just alike.

  • PARFUMOLIQUE01/05/2003

This has to be one of the worst fragrances I have ever smelled. Awful, can't stand it.

  • JANE12/31/2002

I love this perfume. If anybody wants me to extatic over a gift, just give me anything with this perfume. I will not run out.......it's wonderful.

  • PATRICIA12/22/2002

My husband started buying this for me when we first started dating, he said it was his favorite perfume and now It has become my favorite perfume. Nice smell, a little stong if you use to much but one to two sprays it great.

  • BB12/15/2002

in small doses, this stuff is fantastic. a very dear friend uses this and i love it on her. but when she walks into a 50 foot radius , you know it. she can be smelled before she is seen or heard. small doses for sure! i dont believe any perfume should be detected on a person till the one doing the smelling is within very close range of the wearer. men ( and even women) should go nuts trying to get a better smell of a woman, closer and closer , till they are obsessed with finding the enchanting aroma. it makes it a more pleasant encounter with someone who may be allergic or simply grossed out by the scent itself.

  • KERRY12/08/2002

    Pretty Perfume...makes you feel pretty!

  • DEAFIE12/02/2002

A friend's mother gave me Tresor perfume with a lovely fluffy trimmed black bag which I hung behind the bathroom door and stuffed with guest supplies such as new toothbrushes, soaps, misc. for my guests. I put on Tresor perfume (I prefer perfume over eau de parfum, eau de toilet or cologne... I don't like diluted ones) and it smelled fine. Two hours later, I began to smell something powerful and went to the laundry room searching for what smelled like spilled powder detergent. I went nuts all over the house looking for the spill. Nothing. I couldn't figure until I put my hand close to my nose then I realized it was Tresor. I HATED IT! Chemistry did not work for me. I gave it to a friend from Russia to give his girlfriend. I hope it smells ok on her. I hate hate hate it! I'm not going to go around smelling like wash powder detergent.

  • TAMAR11/27/2002

Remember Exclamation by Koty for teenage girls? Well, this is exactly it only much more expensive. HATE THEM BOTH.

  • NARDIA11/25/2002

I AM STUNNED TO SEE A FEW BAD REVIEWS ABOUT SUCH AN INCERDIBLY RICH, CLASSY, SEXY & BEAUTIFUL PERFUME NAMED TRESOR. OUT OF MY 15 BOTTLES, TRESOR IS MY NUMBER ONE AND MY SIGANTURE SCENT. WHEN I WEAR IT I AM SEX ON LEGS. NEED I SAY MORE?

  • MAYA11/24/2002

My sister Lola had a similar incident with the new Donna Karan(Black Cashmere),she actually passed out after putting it on! Although Tresor has never been a favorite,I have never reacted too strongly to it.I can handle Poeme, but the 2 of Lancome that I cannot stomach are Climat (fake & synthetic),and the dreaded Magie Noire.(This one is like vinegar,B.O,and vomit...no,I'm not kidding, although different chemistries or noses might feel differently)My other sister Aphrael, on her wedding day,no less, almost threw up on a guest who was wearing Magie Noire!(She wasn't even drinking) I have noticed that Tresor is not a super tenacious blend,so if you find yourself stuck, say, with a coworker who wears it, Chances are your ordeal will be reasonably short lived...Hopefully!

  • LINA11/04/2002

I'm sorry for your experience Anatolia, but this perfume is not "horribly strong". In fact it is just great for those who don't like strong and overpowering fragrances like the most of Oriental fragrances are. This is "floriental" perfume, which means something like half way between Floral and Oriental. Soft and warm, but not harsh and not too strong. Very nice and special scent! Pure pleasure to use it.

  • ANATOLIA11/01/2002

I smelled the sample and thought that it wasn't bad, but when i took a deeper sniff, I felt dizzy and sick, and had to prop myself up against the perfume counter. Either this perfume is horribly strong and sickly smelling, or it contains small amounts of cocaine.

  • ANTONELLA10/30/2002

Tresor is refined and classy. The first perfume produced with completely new tehnology (1990.) - all three levels developing at the same time, no one after another like in other perfumes (top note - middle note - base note). So, it has a "full", rich scent...men like it a lot, too, believe me!!! I adore it for many years and can't compare it with any other perfume.

  • LABRUJA10/06/2002

Gorgeous bottle! Horrific fragrance. On e of the very few scents I find revolting on everyone. I hate this stuff a lot & was stunned to find how many love it! (Sorry, no offense intended) Sigghh...Now if Yendi could cop this outstanding bottle!

  • EMILY09/11/2002

This perfume will always remind me of the first time I saw "The Phantom of the Opera." I remember sitting in the darkness, utterly transfixed by the perfume of some woman sitting nearby. Afterwards my mom and I went to a mall near the theater and smelled literally EVERY bottle until we came across Tresor, which, of course, was the fragrance we were trying to find. It's a beautiful and incredibly feminine scent. It makes me think (for obvious reasons) of red roses, velvet curtains and the Paris Opera House.

  • LEA08/11/2002

    Unique, refined, elegant, ultra-feminine...

  • XENIA08/10/2002

This is HEAVEN scent. Outstanding quality, something really sophisticated, soft, sexy and chic in the market full of crap.

  • ERIC08/08/2002

Tresor smells like they say on campbells soup (ummm ummm good).

  • ALLISON07/26/2002

I don't care if it means Treasure in French. It is gross.

  • CAROLYN C.07/16/2002

I wore this one years ago when it was at the height of it's popularity and it always smelled like over-ripe fruit to me. I bought it because it was popular and I fell in love with that bottle. I did not try it first. Mistake. Maybe it was the way that it reacted to my body chemicals. I don't know. I just did not like it and I am one fussy lady. To asd:Do you really think it is such a good idea for your mother AND your future wife to be wearing the same perfume? I'd think about that idea again. Also please do not confuse perfume and class, perfume is all about individual taste and body chemicals. There are no Right or Wrong selections honey, just what different people like and dislike.

  • ASD07/13/2002

I gave this to my mom as a gift. What a perfume, truly elegant and refined. I love the way it smells. I can't wait to smell this on my fiance. Excellent perfume for the women who appreciates class

  • SOPHIA07/08/2002

I have been wearing Tresor for the past four years. When I bought it I was very in love with someone, and I figured I needed a romantic perfume. Although I decided to buy Tresor I wasn't sure about it for a while - the top notes are quite strong and sharp (nothing bad about it, I just prefer more subtle scents) but after a few minutes it gets down to a really gorgeous core that lasts and lasts. I have yet to get into a cab wearing Tresor and not have the driver compliment me on it. It also drives my boyfriend crazy - he just can't keep his hands to himself. And every time I pick up a garment I wore even weeks ago and still smells of Tresor it makes me think of beauty and of being loved. It definitely has a power of bringing back pleasant memories. Although I am an experimenter, and I have used dozens of perfumes, I always find myself going back to Tresor when I want to feel special, sexy and very feminine. And when I want people to remember me.

  • ALEXANDRA07/07/2002

It is my all-time favorite, too. It is soft and ultra-feminine, rich and sophisticated.

  • STEPHANIE07/05/2002

Tresor is my all-time favorite. It smells great on me. A beautiful, lasting, feminine scent. And the slogan is very true: "Tresor, the fragrance for treasured moments.." ;)

  • BETHANY06/09/2002

Sweet-musky smell. Smells on me-like very sweet apricots with some musk thrown in. Wasn't terrible or anything, probably good on the right person...but I thought is smelled strange on me. The bottle IS fantastic though. Wish the perfume smelled as good as the bottle looked :-)

  • ANNIE06/09/2002

Do not buy tresor. The smell is really really bad

  • HANA06/09/2002

Anyone knows do they still produce alcohol-free version for summer? (I think Tresor - Rosee de Parfum was the name). Thanks. I had it two years ago and would like to buy it again, but couldn't find it.

  • BS05/30/2002

The most wonderful perfume. Excellent, excellent, excellent! I adore it.

  • HONG TRAM05/27/2002

I will not waste my money to buy Tresor. My friend gave me this parfum for my birthday, I used twice and I hate this funny smell. A Big "NO" to Tresor.

  • ROSE05/24/2002

Pretty and special, smells like vanilla, peaches, vanilla, rose and apricot...special forever!

  • GINGER04/22/2002

I really like this one. It's very decieving and only certain people wear this one well. At first it smells very powdery and overwelming but once it dries down for a bit it smells heavenly. Almost like peaches and Dr. Pepper resting on a musky base. It smells clean to me. I like it alot.

  • LOLA04/10/2002

    smells young,cute,pretty.

  • CARLA04/02/2002

A hug-me fragrance, or so I've been told. Nice, a bit lijke Safari but fruitier. Makes you feel good

  • ENO03/23/2002

tresor is tresor is one perfume i just can't stop using i think it No 1

  • KATE03/20/2002

Tresor is just wonderful, my boyfriend literally hugs and kisses me all over the body when I wear this fragrance. He once did it in my office and I kind of felt embarassed. It just drives men crazy that they just can't control it, makes them go wild like hell. This is very very very very very very goooooodddddd.

  • DD03/20/2002

This is one of the best I've bought so far for my Mom. It smells way too good. Excellent perfume. I love its smell. Its just way too good.

  • A.K.03/18/2002

Maggie Mae, there is not fragrance that can be good on a person who doesn't wash !!! So, rate 1 of 5 can be only for your colleaugue who doesn't bath (ughhh!!!), not for Tresor. Tresor is a very ladylike, ultra-feminine, wonderful perfume!

  • MAGGIEMAE03/12/2002

I guess this fragrance is okay but I used to work with a woman who didn't bathe often and tried to hide it by wearing way too much Tresor! Ugh!

  • KRISTY03/02/2002

I love this scent soo much!! It's everything a perfume should be. When you walk in a room people are like "ohh you smell soo good, what are you wearing?"

  • JENNIFER02/27/2002

Guys always tell me I smell fantastic...it's the only scent I will wear!

  • V.V.02/13/2002

TOP of the TOP. 10 out of 10. THE BEST!!!!!

  • JOOS02/05/2002

Tresor is one of my favorite.Smells great, and last for a long time!My mum's favorite too!!

  • BONNIE01/07/2002

I've been wearing Tresor for some time now and it is definately one of my favorites. I get lots of compliments as well when I have it one. My husband loves it. It's a perfume that lasts all day too. Try it, you'll love it!

  • GIRLY GIRL12/31/2001

I think that this is too strong for me. My friend wore it once & I just thought that it was overly sweet & powerful.

  • JOHN12/30/2001

My girlfriend was wearing this on our first date-Iv never smelled anything so incredibly girly and feminine.I couldnt get enough of it and everytime she wears it I cant keep my hands off her.

  • AIMEE12/20/2001

Sweet; vanilla; peach; edible. This was classified as a Floral Semi-Oriental by Jan Moran('Fabulous Fragrances') but compared to others in that category it seems as if it's a case of "one of these things is not like the others, one of these things is all on it's own.." because of the sweetness.

  • ADRIANNE12/18/2001

Nothing can be compared with Tresor - it's MARVELOUS. When my husband smells some other fragrance on me he says:"It's nice, but nothing is like Tresor!" He speaks so for 7 or 8 years since I wear Tresor, and all that time I feel the same: TRESOR IS THE BEST! Congratulations, Lancome, don't ever stop making it!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) If you can, try Tresor Body Mist (not avaliable in all countries) - it's great, and try layering - you'll feel like a princess.MERRY XMASS!!!

  • MARILYN12/17/2001

I LOVE THIS PERFUME, IT`S SOFT CLEAN BUT MYSTERIOUS

  • GWEN12/15/2001

It has less rose than Poeme, and is less spicy. It reminds me of peach brandy and amaretto.

  • PERFUMEGIRL12/09/2001

ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! It is hard to find something even close to this *precious perfume* in today's perfume world! I give it 10!!

  • CHARLOTTE11/27/2001

I LOVE TRESOR BY LANCOME IT'S SUCH A NICE SCENT 11/27/01

  • XY-MAN 11/24/2001

I'm a man who adore a beautiful lady who adore Tresor. Tresor is very sensual + very sexy + very ellegant + very ladylike. A perfume for a sophisticated ladies. I'm crazy about her skin with the Tresor scent on it. Tresor is how I imagine ideal fragrance for ideal woman.

  • NONI11/24/2001

apt description plus its a major headache producer.

  • A.11/23/2001

I was wearing Tresor constantly for 7 years. It was my signature fragrance, but after so many years I wanted to try something else. And I really did - I've tried sooo many fragrances, but I didn't really fall in love with any of them. And then again I bought Tresor: I used Tresor Shower Gel today, after that Tresor Body Lotion and finally Tresor Eau de Parfum. Oh, my God, I was born again, and I feel like really me. Tresor is really the best, it is sooo good, a real treasure. I'm not going to look for some other fragrance soon... But I have to say: why Lancome doesn't put a pump on the Body Lotion, Bath& Shower Lotions etc., to make them more practical and easier to use!!???

  • DD11/18/2001

That's it! It can be only 5 out of 5!

  • ELIZABETH10/29/2001

Every single time I wear Tresor, I always get complements on how good I smell. I feel sexy and rich when I wear Tresor.

  • BILLIE LEE10/25/2001

    A marvellous perfume, a master-piece of Lancome!

  • WG09/30/2001

Jane, which fragrance is in your and your's sister opinion nice? What do you like to wear? I'm really interested in it. Please, answer me!

  • JANE09/29/2001

My sister and I agree that this is one of the worst scents ever created. Too bad, because the bottle is so beautiful.

  • VIKI09/17/2001

Tresor is really THE BEST! For me it's the most feminine perfume in the world. Not too heavy, not too light, well-rounded and really classy! And from my experience,it drives men crazy!

  • HRBETTYBOOP08/29/2001

FOR OVER 8 YEARS THIS WAS THE ONLY FRAGRANCE I WORE. ALL OTHER FRAGRANCES DID NOT MIX WELL WITH MY CHEMISTRY AND EVEN IF I DID LIKE ONE OKAY PEOPLE WOULD GET MAD THAT I DIDN'T SMELL LIKE ME! PEOPLE KNEW ME FROM MY SMELL...IF THEY SMELLED TRESOR THEY DIDNT' SAY THEY SMELLED THE FRAGRANCE THEY SAID THEY SMELLED HEATHER! EVEN NOW THAT I HAVE OTHERS I WEAR TRESOR WILL ALWAYS BE MY SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE AND PEOPLE STILL KNOW ME BY THAT SCENT. IT IS A GREAT ROSE, FEMININE FLORAL THAT ISN'T TOO SWEET AND HAS JUST ENOUGH SPICE TO KEEP IT INTERESTING. IT IS A TREASURE IN A SEA OF STINKY CRAP!!

  • LAURA08/25/2001

I love it! It's the only perfume I will wear.

  • JOLENE07/29/2001

Tresor by Lancome is such a gem! It's a beautiful fruity floral fragrance with semi-Oriental base-notes. The notes are all perfectly blended, and it lasts a long time. Tresor comes in a beautiful inverted pyramid Art-Deco bottle too! What more can one ask for?

  • NURSE PEBBLES07/29/2001

    One of my favorites...very feminine

  • MICHELE07/29/2001

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

  • DENISE07/23/2001

My husband bought me this for Christmas, I get complimented all the time, and people ask "what are you wearing?"

Tresor is one of my main perfumes. It's got a wonderful scent. I'm always asked what I'm wearing when I use it. It will be always a favorite of mine! Thanks Lancome

Tresor when first applied has a very strong scent that dissapates after a short while and leaves a wonderful fragrance that is long lasting and lingers.

I cannot make my mind up about this fragrance. I find it a bit pushy in a way, but it's also a bit faint too. It makes me think of Poème. Not really my favourite type of scent.
