I am mixed on this fragrance. It is a bit too sweet for me but I need to wear it longer. It is definitely for evening.

  • GLENNETH TILLMAN08/21/2014

... I always am asked what are you wearing. The fragrance is unique.

  • PRISCILLA01/21/2012

When it first came out, I followed a lady in a store to ask her what she was wearing. It was pretty expensive then but I loved it so much I bought it. I have been using it ever since. I'm glad Perfume Emporium has such great prices for it!

  • KAREN DROLL12/12/2009

This is has been my signature scent for the past 10 years. I am always amazed and flattered when people tell me how much they love my scent and ask what it is that I am wearing. I am an individual that when I find what I like I stay with it. Do not ever stop making "Sirene". I feel better just knowing it is in my beauty arsenal!

  • TONI11/08/2009

I bought this based on the positive reviews and am very disappointed. )-; This scent is too generic, not at all distinguishable from many other scents out there. I will use the bottle I have, but I wouldn't ever buy it again.

  • SOUP10/11/2008

I also agree that Sirene compares to the frequency and tone of Lou Lou, however, Sirene is more powdery, with less spice. I would just add that it is a powerful scent, in both it's beauty and its strength. I need to spray half the amount of Sirene as I would of other scents, even Lou Lou.

  • SIRENE EX-LOVER04/11/2007

The new version of my beloved Sirene is just a cheap imposter. Can't use it anymore. So it's more of the same story everywhere. Lowering the production costs leads to poor quality ...bye,bye Sirene , you were my favorite for 10 years - not anymore.Sorry.

  • BIANCA11/03/2006

It's not vile at all. It's a very pretty and feminine scent. Definetly floral.

  • MAUREEN06/20/2006

Too sweet smelling and cloying for me. If you like overpowering, floral sweet smells, this is it.....

  • TEE/ALEX02/21/2006

  • JUDI W.12/06/2005

I used to really like this because it's different, but...now it nauseates me. I gave it to my Mom, and she loves it... I told her to enjoy it, but not to wear it around me..Pheww... Sorry to those who like it. Don't want to insult anyone else, to each her own!

  • VICKY TIEL10/14/2005

why would I change any thing, when I sell so much of sirene, that would be foolish, heat can sour the juice, stored wrong maybe?

  • BC10/05/2005

I was very disappointed too ... the bottle is stunning - no doubt about that, but the fragrance .. i will not be buying again. But Vicky Tiel by Vicky Tiel ... i've been addicted to it since it came out early 90s

  • M08/20/2005

When applying it, it´s Ok but after some hours it´s just a sweet mix without personality. A bad copy of Lou Lou. The bottle is beautiful.

  • ADRIANA 06/16/2005

After wearing the fabolous parfum for almost ten years it simply disapear from the stores and since them I´ve been in a frenzy search for it when I finally found it here... I´ll be the happier woman on earth as soon as I start using it again. Thanks for saving my life!!!

  • GWEN04/02/2005

This fragrance is OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT. My husband loves me with this one try it'''

  • SHARRIE12/25/2004

nice to wear on a rainny day. delightful.tasteful. nice.

  • HELEN12/14/2004

I just bought this, unsniffed and was happy with purchase. The dry-down is vanilla and sandalwood but I can still sniff the various floral notes and it's been 7 hours since I sprayed it on. The scent is pretty, sweet but complex, even in it's drydown. It's not a scent if you don't like sweet and it is definitely "sharp" as described. I think it's a pretty one and unique as the combination of flowers (peony, violet) juxtaposed against the vanilla/sandalwood.

  • ARELY11/25/2004

I've been using Sirene for the last eight years. I was completely satisfied with the smell. I would always receive complements. Now that Vicky Tiel's Sirene has been changed I receive headaches. The smell doesn't last very long either. Even the new color is not pleasing to the eye. Vicky has let me down. I'm looking for a new perfume now.

  • SIMPLY VICKY08/08/2004

I bought a bottle of this fragrance because of some of the posts I read here! I LOVE it! It is now one of my favorites. About the only one I get compliments on since I no longer could purchase Victoria by Victoria's Secret. Sirene stays with me and is "soft".......very feminine. Thank you to those who recommended it!

  • SYLVIE02/07/2004

Today I smelled "SIRENE" for the first time. This is a "SEX-BOMB-fragrance"!!!!! Ultra-feminine scent. Smells great. Sweet, floral-oriental and vanillic. What a powerful, complex fragrance. Very long-lasting. It reminds me only on LOU LOU by CACHAREL. Please compare both and check it out, ladies. * * * * *

  • DEE12/29/2003

A MUST HAVE. LONG LASTING, BUT NOT OVER POWERING.

  • SYLVIA12/07/2003

The best way to describe this fragrance is sexy. I get more compliments from men when I wear this perfume than any other perfume I have ever worn.

  • LINDA KIPPER05/16/2003

My Mom got me a bottle for Christmas two years ago and I can find it in the stores, I am finally glad to know how to be able to buy it. Everyone asks me where I got it and they say they really like the smell of Sirene.

  • LUCY04/24/2003

My daughter bought it for me this Christmas , and i fell in love its the only one i use!

  • PREFERPAM03/24/2003

I have been looking for this for a long time. My daughter used to wear this at work (she is an exotic dancer) and it drove the guys crazy!!!! I could not find it anywhere and now have my own bottle. I love it!!!!!

  • QUEEN ANDREA12/31/2002

This scent is wonderful and I really enjoy it. I even went so far as to purchase the body wash and the lotion. If anything Sirene is vivacious but certainly not vile. Didi, keep defending the good fragrances. It takes good chemistry and a great nose to appreciate a scent that is completely unique.

  • DIDI12/30/2002

The author of 'Vile" in response to Vicky Tiel's Sirene should remember that everyone has a different chemistry that will react individually to different perfumes. To try and label this as a "vile" perfume is not very fair or accurate. The self-proclaimed "perfume expert" has just compromised her integrity, because most comments were in favor of the soft, yet musky and sexy scent. All of Vicky's perfumes have a unique and unforgettable character to them.

  • PERFUMELOVERMARIA11/25/2002

Yuck! Okay I have wanted this perfume for a long time. I finally baught a very small bottle to try it out. It is the worst smelling perfume on me ever. It has this very strong peppery smell. Just naseating. It stuck to me and I couldn't get it off, even after a shower. At work a few comments were made on "who is wearing that strong perfume". I got the feeling my new scent was not well liked. I think the bottle is beautiful, and really wanted to like the fragrance but on me it is HORRIBLE! I felt sick after wearing it, be ware, try it on. I have had the worst reaction to this perfume, than to any other.

  • CLAIRE09/15/2002

This is the one and only scent (and I've worn MANY) that men have ever commented on and shown appreciate for ... wow, what does it take?!

  • JESSICA04/25/2002

If Springtime had a smell, this would be it. The fragrance personifies this season in a bottle perfectly.

  • SHRONDA03/05/2002

This is the most sexiest frangrance out there. Men always stop me and ask what i'm wearing. I tell them and they want to know where they can get some for there girlfriend or spouse. Sometimes I share the information, but I like all the attention of the reactions I get, so sometimes I just say it use to be a victoria secret..Ha!!!Not too nice huh! Well it's the truth, however it's no longer sold there. I had to search on line to continue with this product. It's the BOMB! Wouldn't wear anything else. Now I will turn my spouse onto the men's version of Vicky Tiel-Ulysse.

  • CAROLINE02/11/2002

I also have a bottle of Sirene and I love it! I really just bought it for the beautiful bottle but discovered that I liked the way it smelled too. If you want some body products to match your Sirene (excluding powder) you might try Avon's Soft and Sensual line of Skin So Soft. They have shower gel, bubble bath, roll on, bath creme, body creme, spray moisturizer, dry oil spray, bath oil etc. Can't get enough of it.

  • ANON01/21/2002

Sirene is very potent. It's a hot, very musky/powdery scent and there was something about it that smelled as if it had too much alcohol in it that burns the nose or sends "needles up the nose". I was told that was the aldehydic note, or to be more exact, a warm peachy Aldehyde. When I looked up the word aldehyde it was defined as dehydrogenated alcohol. :\

  • LYNN01/18/2002

this is the only perfume i'll wear. I've been wearing it for 3 years now. My husband loves it. All my co-workers want a bottle. This is a very stop you in your tracks perfume. People that walk by stop to ask "what perfume do you have on it smells great"!!!!!!!!!. Can't do with out it. Oh. yeh, the bottle is so nice very eye catching sitting out.

  • LEIGH01/18/2002

where ever i go everyone wants to know "what is that your wearing". I tell them and i also tell them where to go buy it. Love it!!!! Want buy any thing else.

  • HEATHER01/08/2002

I bought this just for the bottle- It's beautiful! It looks like a work of art. The fragrance itself is nice, but not wonderful to me. It gives me a headache, because I'm sensitive to some fragrances. But I love just having the bottle in my bathroom for everyone to see!

  • MELANIE12/17/2001

    just out of this world

  • MELANIE12/17/2001

Going crazy for the scent hmmmm

  • BETTY12/16/2001

I love the scent of Sirene. I wish they had it in the stores in Pa. Can't even get it in the Fragrance Outlet Stores. If you know where I can get it, I would appreciate you telling me. Thanks Betty
