Fresh clean smell and does not bother people with asthma. Always get compliments on how good I smell

I have worn Carriere for about 15 years. I loved it the first time I smelled it and I still love it. It has a fresh, clean aroma. I will always wear Carriere.

Very non offensive. Not particularly unique, but a nice light floral for summer.

I was introduced to this perfume a few years back. I fell in love with the scent. It drives my husband wild. People stop me and ask me what I'm wearing. Where can I go buy ? I live in California.

It's soft and beautiful. I get compliments well after I can't smell it anymore. I have yet to tire of this fragrance. It's my favorite!

Someone asked to post a message of a scent that was in numbers. One that I remember as a child that was a unisex scent was 4711. Is that it? By the way...I really love light scents...and I love Carriere.

I was introduced to Carriere by a co-worker 5 years ago and I love it, although I couldn't find it locally it continues to be my favorite and I always hear that "I love the way that smells, clean and fresh, not over powering"

This is a perfect summer scent. Good, clean and slightly sweet. Good to find it here, this one can be hard to find. Very pleasant to the nose.

I absolutely loves the smell, but it doesn't stay on all day. I can only smell it for perhaps half of the morning and then it's gone.

This is one of my favorite perfumes, it's light and it smells clean- I used to wear Gendarme and I'm so happy they came out with the female version.

But... it's just alright, not great. About 9 years ago I was using the men's version Gendarme which smells practically identical to Carriere, but I guess my tastes have changed cause I smelled both of them on me today, and both were fresh and clean, but no better than soap. It's not bad, so I will call it average.

This smells much like a fragrance that was popular when I was a child some 30 years ago. It had a name that was comprised of numbers. If anyone can remember that fragrance and what it's true name is, please post it. I think this fragrance has been brought back under a different name! Regardless, I love it!

I have been wearing this fragrance for 4 years, and it has become a signature of sorts for me. I have had men AND women stop me in stores, at the gas station and at work asking WHAT the PERFUME was that I was wearing. This perfume has a light scent that is VERY individual and pretty. Most people tell me - "You always smell so FRESH! What a great scent!" And PS - I used to wear Gendarme for me before they started producing this. That is how I found out about the scent - a guy I know wears the Gendarme.

This is a lovely subtle fragrance that is wonderful to wear to concerts, etc because of the lovely fragrance that lingers just barely perceptively in the air as you walk by. I have had men and women come up to me to ask what the wonderful fragrance is that I am wearing. I don't know what the person was thinking when she said that said it smells like a cheap room freshener. It smells like anything BUT that. It is the most wonderful fragrance on the market, and I won't wear anything else.

It is light and almost fleeting, but it is so pretty, kind of citrusy, kind of "clean." It's not sweet, or woodsy or sharp. It is refreshing.

Carriere is not particularly well known and can be hard to find, even at upscale shops. I'm delighted to see that Perfume Emporium is offering it - it has been my signature scent for years. This very fresh, "just showered" fragrance always brings lots of compliments - that is, if it even gets noticed as a fragrance, instead of as just "me." It's subtley is part of the charm.

After reading the rave reviews, I bought my first bottle. It's wonderfully fresh! Great scent!

Wow. This is the first "clean" scent I've come across that actually smells clean. Like soap but NOT the cheap yucky soap you find in gas station bathrooms and dread washing your hands with because of the smell. Not that at all! Carriere is very soft and feminine and one spray lasts several hours one me. I love it!

Such a fresh linen scent! NOT too heavy! I love it. I can wear it all day and not feel overpowering. When I was searching for a new perfume I almost gave up until I found this. The company which carried my other perfume went out of business (Elara). BUT this fills the void!

For everyone who wish Zest or Dial soap could be bottled into a spray--it smells that clean. I remember when I first smelled this fragrance at Nordstrom's; it smelled so unusual I asked the clerk what was in it. She told me it was predominantly lavender & lilac. The lavender gives the fragrance its overall "clean" impression, while the lilac updates it & gives it freshness & lift. Not for everyone, but those who love it will keep it in their wardrobe of fragrances as a must-have.

It's the only perfume I have ever been able to wear daily without having to smell overwhelming. It smells fresh and inviting!

I stopped wearing cologne/perfumes because nothing appealed to me......until my friend introduced me to Carriere. Now that is all I will wear and I receive many nice compliments!

I just tried this yesterday and loved it! It started out with a very light citrusy scent, but soon evolved into a beautiful bright floral. I've never had a fragrance that "blossomed" on me like this one did. I'm very impressed and will definitely be buying this. Perfume Emporium, thanks for offering this in EDP form! That will help as citrus scents usually don't last long on me.

This EDP is my staple fragrance. I always go back to it when I need a little break from more complex, busy scents. This is the only perfume that I have re-purchased. Very easy to wear, fresh, clean, wonderful. I love to layer it with the scented body lotion. I'll always have a bottle of Carriere nearby.

This perfume smells so fresh and clean and last all day. It's worth it!

It smells a lot like Gendarme (men's version), but with more feminine bottom notes. It also seems to last longer. The smell is very pleasant, almost too light though. It is great for the office since it can't be detected across a room. It's just a nice, clean, fresh, "right out of the shower" type fragrance.

I disagree it is soft and fresh. Like just showering

This smells like Egyptian Musk Oil that can be bought at any beauty supply for a couple bucks.
