  • SIMON08/05/2013

Great gift box set. Very economical way to buy.

  • GLEN B03/06/2012

I was disappointed...again. Masculine? Not by a country mile. I tried this cologne based on glowing reports and was sorry I did. I continue to remain suspicious of women who design colognes for men.

  • NARI01/30/2012

CLEAN, CLASSY, AND NAUGHTY. LOVE IT. YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

  • CARL FROM IWAKUNI MCAS, JPN06/07/2011

This stuff is quite remarkable and apparently the only one created for us guys from the designer. Utterly warm, sensual, masculine woody-tobacco juice is excellent for evenings with encounters with women but I guess could be used for daywear for some but I'll stick with nightwear for this hit.

  • AQUARIUS4.706/01/2011

Warm, smooth, alluring and the only mens' frag. from VW can be worn both day or night. Wish it could last a bit longer but good enough for the 5.

  • ROB H.02/23/2011

.....even after 7yrs. I use it more than anything in my collection but it seems I have to request a new btl every X-mas being it seems to go sour with a quarter left in the 1.7oz btl.

  • MAJ GEN J.G. TOMECKI02/07/2011

Refined, sophisticated manly man's fragrance always gets the attention of women of all ages wherever I go. Wish the designer would come out with another hit for us gents.

  • ROB H.01/06/2010

Still remains my all-time fav among anything I've ever worn after wearing it for over 6 yrs now. Won't you make another sensual wonder for us guys, Vera??

  • JUDE C08/27/2009

This juice smells absolutely incredible. So so sexy it is hard to even describe. Sadly, and oh how sadly, this stuff has no and i mean no lasting power. The bottle rocks, the scent is out of this world, but these reviews are ignoring one simple fact: this smell does not last. There are worse lasting edts out there, but none of them smell this incredible. Reminds me of rocabar by hermes .... oh what could have been.

  • BELLE06/17/2009

This is THE best smelling scent for men out there as of yet in my opinion! Very alluring! Some others come close, but get no cigar...this however, gets my vote!!!

  • Hello Everyone, I am 39 years old and my favorites are the classics and I like to be different, this is very unique, Armani and CK and the likes are good, but too oversold. I like Cacharel, Jacomo, Aramis, 212, XS, Chrome, ok Drakkar, Bvlgari, Valentino V, Boss Baldasirini, etc. and of course, QUORUM. If you like Quorum and your taste is like mine, you will like this one. It is not as loud as Quorum, but subtle and manly, and unique for the man who likes the smell. By no mean as casual as Quorum.

  • ERIC03/26/2008

I normally wait enthusiastically for Rob H's ratings before running to smell a fragrance. This time I noticed that this has anise in it. While I'll still smell it I really can't take anise or licorice which is what turned me off to Lolita Lempicka and some other scents. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised though. Just gotta wait and see and keep and open mind and cross my fingers. In the meantime I'll try Kenneth Cole's Signature which I still have yet to try.

  • JUDE C02/08/2008

This stuff is awesome. Very sexy modern scent. One of the best modern out there. Very soft and sweet yet powerful. Listen to the reviews, this stuff rocks, and read my other posts - I hate the new light garbage that is put out there, but Vera Wang got this one, a legendary scent.

  • STEVE EMLENTON09/28/2007

Amazing stuff! Quite refined and an utterly alluring love potion works well on my skin. I can see how some people compare it to L' Instant and maybe even KC's Signature. I also see why Rob H. loves this stuff judging by the # of times his name appears on this page and his forum page.

  • J.RIV09/22/2007

Wow.. yeah I see what you mean. I just address you because there are very few people who have smelled the same thins I've smelled. I guess I'm just looking for conversation... You know to discuss it. No biggie. Happy cologne hunting though Rob!!

  • TONY T09/21/2007

this is the s..t but hey l'instant smells very similiar and is a bit cheaper. try ebay, very cheapcompared to other sites(sale prices).

  • ROB H.09/18/2007

The way I look at it; test and buy what YOU like. I do appreciate when you or anyone else seeks advice but then sometimes I don't understand why some people out there just flat out attack me for no reason and claim that I call myself the master or king or whatever. Check the Signature by St. Dupont board and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • J.RIV09/17/2007

.... I dont know exactly whats gotten into me but I have been buying colognes all weekend and testing ALOT. I came to this and immediately looked for a tester.. they didnt have one I ripped open a box and sprayed it... I smelled and almost immediately it reminded me of my favorite Pi by Givenchy. Then I was also reminded of Obsession. VW is a very very good fragrance dont get me wrong but it does not strike ME as excellent. I consider this more " masculine" than Pi due to the fact that Pi is more sweet. But VW is still less passionate and woodsy as Obsession. Because of the fact it has a more Vanilla like smell to it I'll say it is closer to Pi. This fragrance is very much a panty dropper. I'm almost positive no female will dislike this cologne. A complete neck breaker. Just not my personal favorite. I liked it but just not loving it. I suppose it is just my taste.

  • KEVINB.09/15/2007

I really wanted to give this one a chance before posting a comment, the fragrance itself is really really good. But it does'nt last on me for more than 1 hour, not even a hint of it, cannot buy again, sad cause it smells so good!

  • MATTHEW09/07/2007

Have to keep topping it up every 10-15 minutes. Bought it for the name and not having a similar smelling aftershave / deodorant / shower gel. Going back to Issey or Game after its gone. Which at this rate wont be long.

  • BARBARA W08/09/2007

Well balanced, polished sweet/woody fragrance. Elegant. Only drawback is that is smells borderline feminine to me, but I still would enjoy smelling this on any man. My current love is Burberry London for men...oh, what that does to me!!

  • LEBM08/07/2007

I didnt like it at first.. got prada instead - I got the hook up... took prada back - Wore this 2 work - ok the linger affect... co-worker asked me what I had on after I came in the room - while sitting up right - typing away on her computer - told her the name she said nice.... i walked in the hall for all of 5 secs... came back in - she was slumped over in her chair - looking at me with shirt raised right above her belly button - while rubbing her belly - I don't think she had gas..... Im a believer - I only crack this out every so often - i have gotten results off of it...

  • LESTAT08/07/2007

Vera wang to me is an evening fragrance more like when you are with your significant other so its kinda like evening romantic fragrance. You could wear it at a party if you like. Its certainly not a daytime fragrance. I wouldnt wear it in summer either.Thats cause the leather and tobacco smell in it gives me headache( I wear it in fall or winter ) .Try wearing it in summer or daytime if you want to it may react differently with your body. good luck !!

  • PAUL G.07/17/2007

This stuff is another overhyped ripoff! Yes, it does smell nice, but only last a couple of hours. The name Vera Wang is overrated simply because a bunch clueless Hollywood idiots are in such awe with her work. You want a much better substitute go with Guerlain's L'Instant it smells identicle to Vera Wang, costs a little bit less and last much longer! Besides the Guerlain name stands the test of time and they have a proven track record.

  • OSCAR07/08/2007

Hey, I have a few questions about this cologne: Is it dressy, for special occasions type of cologne or casual? is it a mature cologne, or it can be used by anybody? Is it good for summer or for winter? can you use it everyday? I hope someone will give me some answers to this questions. Thanks

  • P07/05/2007

As others have stated, the opening notes remind me of CK Truth. I'm trying to forget that I once wore Calvin Klein fragrances. The drydown is okay but longevity isn't great. Smells fruity and juvenile rather than sophisticated.

  • JANNIE06/18/2007

I tested Vera Wang recently and the first impression was: nothing new. Reminded me of Michael Kors - similar tobacco and dried fruit notes. There was also something boozey about the Wang, like the Kors. And I don't care for boozey. After a relatively short while the whole thing more or less vanished into thin air. Can't be bothered with this juice. It's far from horrible, but there're better deals on far better juices out there.

  • FRANK05/27/2007

I've seen some remarks that this has apple and other fruit scents. I don't mind that, but I already have scents like that and am hoping to find something that is warm and sensual. Good for your girl to snuggle close to you while your by the fire in the winter. If you have any suggestions for something like that then let me know. Thanks.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI02/13/2007

To give this an extra star. What? Dolce and Gabbana. It's an inferior version of Vera--two hours after applying. May I still humbly suggest you try the new 'vintage' John Varvatos in the brown bottle, the real VINTAGE Tabarome (unfortunately neither available here at P. E., just their evil twins) and a few others before you proclaim this the best? You might proclaim it so afterwards, anyway.

  • BALZAC02/02/2007

Vera has created a very sophisticated EDT for men. This is a favorite in my collection. Pure class.

  • SILKY01/12/2007

another overrated cologne. It's average. I think the buildup is killing the actual result. You look for something that stands out and again, this does not smell too different or unique from most men's cologne.

  • SACHER12/26/2006

Gentlemen, No one understands the wedding concept better than Vera...so if you decide to take the plunge this is the fragrance that tops the cake when you stumble to the altar. However if you aren't going to the altar and you wear this... don't be surprised if your wife... girlfriend... stranger... gets down on one knee and........com'on guys ! I was talking about her making the proposal! Geez! And Gents....buy a good tux! It does amazing things when you don it on your Aniversary and greet her at the door with a green bottle of French bubbly, fine flowers and smelling of your wedding day!

  • J.C. WICKENHEISLER12/19/2006

Warm, utterly sensual and sophisticated ladykiller turns heads my way non-stop whenever I'm wearing it!

  • PEPP12/18/2006

VERY NICE FRAGRANCE, JUST MAKE SURE YOU DONT USE TOO MUCH, YOU'LL MAKE A GREAT FRAGRANCE AN OFFENSIVE ONE. ADD IT TO YOUR LIST

  • TONYGIO12/15/2006

I believe Vera Wang is first and foremost a wedding dress designer, and it seems this fragrance follows suit, as it would seem a perhaps perfect scent to wear to your wedding...but who wants to smell like that everyday!? It actually smells like crisp clean linens to me (again no surprise), and though a little weak, it is definitely a nice scent, but....come on men, do you really all like to smell like this so much to warrant all these raves?? Sorry, but nothing incredible is going on here....

  • SARAH VALENTINE12/13/2006

My Hubba Hubba!!! hubby, Matthew bought this stuff in a department store here in Oklahoma City. This stuff rock n' rolls!!! Top notes are very exotic and somewhat very very similiar to Creed Tabarome. Guys get this stuff and you will have the ladies crawling and clawing all over you.

  • SAQUIB12/13/2006

I had to try it because of all the positive reviews, but to me it was nothing striking or spectacular. A decent cologne but just does not stand out in my honest opinion.

  • CURIOUS12/08/2006

Have yet to try this scent, despite all the raves. Wondering if it can really be all that great considering the name is most known for making cooking and dinnerware, and would surely rather put Corningware out of business than Chanel!?!? I guess open minds will prevail...will try it soon and find out if hype is justified....

  • EPHRAIM11/19/2006

Good fragrance but I don't give five stars to this perfume because smell like barber shop soap.

  • M.S.11/03/2006

Thank you Rob H. for your reply; I always relate to your reviews. Vera Wang is kinda hard to find in here(Beirut), but it`s known, and I`m still searching. I have read the different top 10 lists of colognes that you and other cologne masters had posted, but I wish you also post your top 10 list of perfumes because I`m sure you know what`s best to buy for a gf or a wife; and for I came across some of your reviews concerning women perfumes, so why not post your top 10 list? Also the same call goes to all of the men and women expert in perfumes, if you please, post your top 10 list of perfumes. I think I may have to post a similar message in a perfumes`s page(Amor Amor, perhaps) so that we get more advices from the females who aren`t reading this. Thanks in advance.

  • NELSON11/02/2006

after I read this comments. I sprayed this fragrance on my neck, chest and arms. I don't like. it smells like a mix between sweet and acid notes.

  • ROB H.10/20/2006

They both can be worn casually but I wouldn't exactly wear them everyday being that they're not exactly Wal-Mart priced colognes like Cool Water, Curve, JOOP!, etc. Also depends on who you're trying to attract. Vera Wang is my all-time personal favorite and it's gotten me attention from girls in highschool all the way to women in their 50s and up. L'Instant is more luxurious and elegant and less upbeat typically targeting the nasals of women in their late 20s and up for me. At your age, you'd be a pimp wearing either one of these wonders. Good luck!

  • M.S.10/18/2006

About Vera Wang and L'Instant de Guerlain, can they be worn casually? And are they suitable for my age bracket? I`m 19.

  • TONY T10/08/2006

believer now. most say vera does not last but great scent. on me it lasts and lasts. i put it on at 3 this morning and still smell it right now as the bears are killing the bills at halftime 27-0. masculine, refined and just luxurious fragrance. p.s. no vanilla. awesome fragrance.

  • BIGNUTZ09/17/2006

This sexy-as-hell warm and deep grapefruity/floral/woody aroma just became one of my top five all-time favorite colognes to wear and it gets the women everytime!

  • BELLE08/24/2006

Smelled it, ordered it, love it! This is the best scent for a man (I'm female) I've ever smelled! Of course, everyone's chemistry's different, so opinions vary when it comes to fragrances, but I love this smell...ummmmmmmmmmm!

  • LESTAT07/21/2006

Chris if I was you I wouldnt buy this cologne especially if the sample didnt last long on my skin.

  • LESTAT07/21/2006

Iam not an expert but in my opinion Armani Code and Vera Wang are both excellent fragrances. You may want to get a sample of each and try it on your husband and see which one smells better on him and which one he likes.Since in my case many fragrances give me headache if they smell too strong on me.( I have both of them. They are long lasting. In my book Armani code is lil bit better than Vera Wang. very close call though ) .. Enjoy the cologne hunt :)

  • Belle: I returned few days ago from Aruba and I tested Vera Wang. Its incredibly nice, but ZERO lasting, go very very fast.

  • ROB H.06/25/2006

Every fragrance you've just mentioned are all 5* hits in my book but if I had to choose THE BEST...........Vera Wang would be it; it's #1 in my collection. All are in the same ballpark as far as senuality, sophistication, elegance, modernity but VW would be my choice personally; just my opinion.

  • BELLE06/22/2006

I would like to know which is better...this or Kenneth Cole Signature? I'm a female, and I bought my husband Polo Black recently. I can't decide on the others. I also hear Armani Code is good. Someone told me Vera Wang is very strong. I need comparisons on these if anyone can help me with that info please. Thanks guys!

  • CHRIS06/13/2006

To any body out there. I just receive Verawang in the mail, today, but one problem. It doesn’t seems to last very long on me. It is a grate smell. I kneed someone help. Is the perfume long lasting? I would be very grate full if some one could reply back to me as soon as possible. For this very expensive cologne I would like to know that when I’m whereing it I’m getting a lot of complement from the ladies. Thank You in advance.

  • JK05/12/2006

this cologne is truly one of tge best Ilove it it's the shit i love it guys go out and get it now you will love it

  • CRIS KAANTO04/28/2006

Truly top class, modern and yet classic refined citrusy/woodsy/tobacco aroma is a great weapon of choice and should be included in any cologne lover's arsenal.

  • STEVEN04/08/2006

I personally thought this fragrance to be exceptionally classy and sophisticated... until I asked women and got repeated feedback that it's too floral and feminine for a guy. Of course other women thought it smelled fantastic, but there were too many who thought it was too girly for a guy so i returned it. Now, for Rob. Obviously you're a cologne whiz, I wanted to ask for some of your opinions regarding colognes. Can you email me? [email protected] PS. Straight fellow just seeking some cologne advice lol

  • MAN-CITY-BLUE-BOY04/03/2006

Just a quick note lads, buy some of this, goes down well with ladies...! Cushty.

  • GOLD SAINT GEMINI04/03/2006

Warm, luxurious and utterly seductive 1st timer from the same name designer is for me, way up there alongside Armanicode and L'Instant de Guerlain as far as mens' colognes.

  • RAI04/02/2006

sexy, sophisticated, masculine, seductive, elegant, refined, modern yet classic, you name it! this cologne is everything!

  • JULIAN C. STRATUSON03/28/2006

Highly seductive, refined, elegant, masculine and warm citric/woody/tobacco aroma is a ladykiller every single time I wear this sensual wonder.

  • AJINGO03/05/2006

Out of Curiousity, decide to try based on the good reviews from other people. I think it smels similar to Blue Jeans by Versace.

  • DOUG F03/02/2006

Vera Wang is a great scent. Its certainly effective on women (my target audience) but today I went to brueggers for a bagle and the dude working goes "I've never said this to a guy before, but you smell pretty good". I don't think he was gay, but apparently dudes do like it as well.

  • BRABUS02/26/2006

Exceptional first attempt from the designer is a warm, masculine and awfully sensual citrusy/tobacco fragrance that's great for day or night and when you want to suck up some positive attention from any woman out there.

  • LARRY BALTIMORE02/08/2006

HEY EVERY ONE: I'VE AN EMBARASSING CONFESSION! Around Christmas time, I bought my FIRST male fragrance. My first try was with Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. TROUBLE: I was very allergic. At the advice of the salesman, and after trying out at least 20 more scents, I brought home Vera Wang for Men. I find the scent to be subtle, vaguely sweet, somewhat dark, and VERY sexual. I've a feeling I'm not really using the correct terminology! At any rate, I see there are many guys who claim that this scent is "very popular with the ladies". I don't doubt that. However, I'm gay---(God--what a radical confession on a men's cologne website)! At any rate, I would really appreciate hearing from other gay guys about how, in their experience, V Wang for Men has affected other guys. I have a gut suspicion that many statements "about the ladies" is really a veiled reference to men's responses to the scent. And that's cool. I can understand why some guys don't want to divulge their private lives on a public website. I would really like to hear from you. Have you found a noticeable difference in the way other gay guys react to you when you're wearing the V Wang (or any other)scent? Have you had any meaningful conquests using that cologne? So here it goes. I hope the website monitors don't delete the following request: If you're comfortable posting your thoughts on this website, that would be great. If not, please hit me back at my email address: [email protected] I know I may be setting myself up for some crazy email---spam, etc. But I would really dig hearing from you. Please believe me---I'm on the level. I just want to make your responses as comfortable as possible. Thanks in advance for your help! Larry

  • TONY T01/22/2006

greens are recommended for spring/summer but essential and 212 h20 are such great scents you be the judge. also minotaure is a killer but i would say colder weather.

  • A. BOREALIS01/13/2006

Very sensual and distinctive refined fragrance is not exactly cheap wherever I've shopped around at but is most definitely worth its price for what it does for the ladies.

  • ANTHONY01/08/2006

since u posted a comment on giving colognes i just wanted to ask u some questions. When r u suppose to wear greens(lacoste essential) as u said and what time of day or seasons do u wear minotaure and lacoste and 212? just wondering and thnx for the feedback

  • TONY T01/06/2006

for sleepers that nobody wears you gotta get minotaure, read it's board, for greens(lacoste essential, or yang and the best aqua/fresh 212 h20 or geir. even if you have to buy small samples that's all you need and maybe givenchy pi.

  • ANTHONY01/03/2006

hey everybody. Just wondering if it the cologne is worth the expensive price and if this cologne is one of those "secret weapons" or if guys should wear this all the time. Any feedback would help a lot. Thnx.

  • ROBERT R.01/03/2006

I just bought a bottle of Vera Wang like 2 days ago. I keep hearing about how good it is but I havent worn it. Ive only smelled it at the store and it smelled good. My problem now is that I keep hearing about all these people like Jay Z and Will Smith wearing this cologne. That right there kind of turns me away from it. I still haven't opened my bottle, so im wondering if anyone thinks it would be a good idea to get something else. Maybe some recommendations? Joop! is one of my favorite colognes and I love the scent. I also like Fahrenheit very much. As well as JPG Le Male and ADG. Right now I have Nautica Competition (yellow), Curve, Hugo, and Gucci Nobile. Out of those I like Curve the most, and even I know that isn't a very good cologne overall. Any help?

  • J. YORK12/26/2005

Very seductive warm and citrusy refined fragrance is an absolute keeper and gets the women everytime.

  • DUC12/19/2005

Seductive, luxurious and refined warm citrus fragrance hinted with soothing sandalwood and sensual tobacco notes. Kind of a slightly less elegant and younger L'Instant.

  • REBECCA12/11/2005

This is very very nice. I think the way a man should smell! If it goes right with your chemistry, then every woman will instantly be more affectionate toward you. At least friendly! lol I heard will smith wear's it. I don't know anything about the lasting power, but this is the best men's scent I've smelled in a long time. From now on every bf will own it.

  • JASON1312/09/2005

I don't get it either. I've tried this twice because I fiqured the first time I had smelled too many colognes that day. It is not a bad scent by any means, but is not striking or distinctive and the drydown does not seem to have much substance(slightly powdery). Not sure why so many "celebritys" compliment this! Because of the good ratings I will yet try again and score a sample and will also do the ultimate rating...the females!

  • UNCLE TIM 12/08/2005

A pleasant and nice 4 star smell for the first 30 min, then it is gone. Sorry Vera the 4 ml mini is all I will buy.

  • RN12/08/2005

This smells almost identical to L'instant de Guerlain. The're almost the same, except that Vera Wang is a bit sweeter. Really, really nice fragrance.

  • SENSE12/02/2005

One of the rare times that I don't concur with the gurus. I found this to be arid and sharp. I hung in there for the drydown, and I guess I just don't get it. I suppose it didn't help that it's overpriced, and that the super-feminine guy at the fragrance counter didn't even ask what I like, he just said [add voice style here] "very masculine. perfect for you. everyone's buying it". With it's magnetic reputation, maybe sometime I'll get a spritz of it again at the mall for free, just to do a babe-attraction experiment!

  • BRIAN11/29/2005

I've had this cologne for a while, but rarely used it, because I thought it smelled terrible on me (I still do). However, after wearing it out a few times and getting compliments from tons of women, I think I'll wear it more often!

  • SYLVIA J11/21/2005

OH SO WARM AND SEXY AS HELL!! If you're all about elegance and sophistication then you'd better own and appreciate a bottle of this wonder, gentlemen!!

  • ERMAC11/19/2005

Bought this shortly after it's release almost 2 years ago and is probably shuffling itself in my top three even though my collection is currently only at 11. Very refined, classy, sophisticated, distinctive, elegant, luxurious, genuine, masculine, I could go on and on but I'm new on this site so I won't write books. Vera has outdone herself already and she's only got 1 cologne out!

  • N2DBLU11/18/2005

I agree with you, "1000%"!! There's absolutely no reason that this elegant, sexy, sophisticated and utterly luxurious fragrance should be rated anything less than 5*s.

  • P.T. STOCTOROCTON11/17/2005

Warm, deep, mysterious, elegant, you name it. The women just adore this sensual and luxurious first timer from Vera.

  • SOMA11/16/2005

Despite the mildly humorous name, Vera Wang presents a fragrance that is absolutely no joke. If there were 10 stars, Wang would reign supreme. A refined fragrance that has excellent staying power but does not overwhelm. Instead, it attracts and invokes a strong sensual appeal towards the opposite sex. If there is any fragrance that must be in your collection, it's Wang. So grab it. Okay, joking aside, it's an exceptional fragrance. Nobody should ever have to cogitate on whether or not this is the fragrance for him. It is, so buy it. I'd consider this formal wear, but rules will never constrain the application of this fragrance. When you buy it, you'll want to wear it on all occasions. 5 stars.

  • SYNERGY 11/07/2005

I sure hope Vera will come out with another scent for us guys soon because this fragrance is truly one of THE MOST sensual and at the same time sophisticated colognes I've EVER worn.

  • ONG-BAK11/04/2005

Warm and elegant fragrance with it's unique notes plus sensual tobacco. One of the best among refined fragrances for men.

  • MARK, ENGLAND UK11/01/2005

this is the tops ! this sophisticated intellingent and individual scent is easy to wear, I LOVE IT!

  • JOEUSMC10/29/2005

I take back what I said last post because I've gotten nothing but comments from the scent, so now I have to raise it up a star....I just judged it way too quickly and I'll never post again until I have a full understanding of a scent.

  • VICTOR RICHLAND CREIGHTON III09/29/2005

Hands down, absolutely THE MOST sensual, sophisticated, distinctive, luxurious and refined fragrance in my collection.

  • X.G.09/23/2005

There's absolutely no reason for this highly refined, sophisticated and extremely masculine fragrance to have less than a 4* rating!! Keep it coming, Vera!

  • MARY K.09/20/2005

Look guys, from a woman's perspective....I don't know any woman that could resist this! OMG, it is absolutely sexxxy!!!

  • CB08/31/2005

This is probably the best smelling stufff out their right now. I do not understand how people give this less then five stars. It has a real warm feeling to it, but it is not so heavy that you cannot where it in the summer like other warm fragrances.

  • KENNETH V. RICHELIEU08/26/2005

This warm, seductive and highly refined fragrance from first-timer Vera Wang is a smash hit for the ladies and happy to say is part of my top ten.

  • JOEUSMC08/24/2005

alright....nothing catchy really. Smells good, but nothing distinct about it. It doesn't last very long either.

  • ALI07/28/2005

This Cologne is good but not a must have i added it to my collection last year from Heathrow Airpot it smelt really nice and my GF loved it. by the way , Jessica simpson bought this cologne for her BF !! she liked it and probably one of her favourites .

  • K. WIMPINO07/19/2005

In my opinion, with her first fragrance for men I think Vera has already become the Godess of mens' refinement.

  • Z.G. ARCHIBALD07/13/2005

Vera Wang for men is a very elegant, luxurious, sophisticated and refined fragrance for the GQ man. A definite competitor to Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Kenneth Cole and Armand Basi.

  • M.R.06/27/2005

Vera's first fragrance for men is an extremely sensual and sophisticated scent that turns the heads of beautiful women all around me. To those unaware, young actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. also wears this.

  • TONY T06/07/2005

don't mean a thang. s dots and vera wang from (change clothes), but i will pass. smells similiar to every other major oriental scent. 1 word, remake. sort of like escada magnetism with a little desire and some allure without the staying power of either of these powerhouse colognes. receieved a sample thank god i didn't spend my cash. jay-z likes it though and he has the hottest chick in entertainment so what do i know...

  • MARIO JUSTINANI04/15/2005

Hate to dissent from the crowd, but this one has too many competing notes that do not harmonize, just get in each other's way. It's like an orchestra without a conductor run amok. Look, folks, if you love it, more power to you. Just don't be surprised if you get as many sneezes as you do compliments.

  • RANGER04/12/2005

The only good thing I can say about Vera Wang for men is, It has a nice bottle. It smells OK but does not last at all. There sinothing new or exciting about it.

  • CALVIN02/28/2005

This is the best cologne I've ever had in my life. Got instant comments from the ladies at school

  • DIRK02/12/2005

That last post the person was high or something. Vera Wang smells nothing like J'adore or any other Christian Dior scents. I personally own this scent and I like it more then I loved it when I first got it. The longativity doesn't last that long and the drydown isn't all appealing. I don't like colonges that are overly powdery smelling. It has the same drydown effect as Jaipur does. So it's a nice scent but didn't work great on me. Mabey for you it does though. Try some on you before buying.

  • ED C.02/10/2005

This is a soon to be classic masculine fragrance that can be worn by men of all ages, for just about any occasion. Five stars and more!

  • D MCRAE01/12/2005

When I first smelled this scent I was not moved because I thought it was very familiar, my friend she wears J'adore by Dior, Vera Wang is very similar..by the way J'adore was a FIFI winner..so Vera Wang is in Good company

  • H.D.01/10/2005

This cologne is only second behind Bulgari as in best ever. It's luxurious, aromic and sexy. Very strong and concentrated. Well made. While the opinion of it smelling like a Calvin Klein cologne is true. But it does not smell anything like Obession. I do agree like the opinion down below it smells along the lines of Truth. But much better made!

  • GREGG GIORDANO01/01/2005

Thanks to all of the positive reviews I read, I went out and bought the cologne spray and aftershave balm. This is the stuff,,way to go Vera. As a collector of colognes, this ranks in the top 5.

  • W.B.12/22/2004

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU, VERA WANG REMINDS ME MORE OF ETERNITY THAN OBSESSION(THANK GOODNESS). IF ANYTHING, YOU WOULD WANT VERA TO BE YOUR "OBSESSION" AS FAR AS COMPARING THE TWO SCENTS. THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. TAKE CARE.

  • CHACHA12/11/2004

I was thinking about getting this for my friend. I smelled a sample and I just imagined it on him. I fell in love with Vera Wang for Men.

  • ANGELA12/10/2004

Vera Wang womens' fragrance is truly an outstanding and very pretty fragrance.

  • LB12/08/2004

Does this fragrance remind anyone of Obsession for Men? Per his request, I am trying to find a new cologne for my husband (to replace Eternity for men, blech!) and I thought I'd found a winner with this one, until I was suddenly reminded of Obsession, the aptly named cologne of my former lover-turned-stalker. I can't have that, no matter how good the fragrance! Maybe it's just my imagination. I really like Chrome by Azzaro, but that's my brother's fragrance, so we can't go there either. Any comments/suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

  • ROB H.11/23/2004

I agree, oh Great Fellow Cologne Master. I guess it helps to introduce new fragrances to other customers which will bring more business and product ratings.

  • WANG11/11/2004

Vera Wang smells similar to Lanvin L'Homme which is also a top notch cologne. Both are just drop dead gorgeous.

  • DARK11/11/2004

Reminds me of Truth by CK and Sentiment by Escada but richer and overall better.

  • DUVEED11/09/2004

Stunning, fabulous, amazing, breath-taking, draw dropping. In other words, an absolute gorgeous scent i've ever smelt!

  • KEVIN11/03/2004

The thing I like most about this scent is that it's very masculine. No one will ever accuse you of wearing your girl's prefume...

  • W.B.10/26/2004

FELLOW COLOGNE MASTER; IT'S GOOD THAT YOU FINALLY RECEIVED YOUR FIVE STAR RATING FOR YOUR FAVORITE COLOGNE, ALTHOUGH IT'S KIND OF FUNNY THAT YOU HAVE TO RECOMMEND VERA WANG TO TONI FINISH IN ORDER TO GET IT. WHAT A COINCIDENCE, DON'T YOU THINK?

  • POEBLK10/18/2004

I like this sent because you can where it for any occasion it is one of the most non offensive colognes I have ever had and I get a lot of complements

  • ROB H.10/17/2004

Hey there, fellow cologne fanatic! I don't know if you normally browse at reviews on products you haven't tried or not. But anyways this particular fragrance is my #1 in my collection and I'm sure that the other fellow cologne masters W.B. and R.J. would definitely recommend you try it as well. Trust me, I think you'll love this.

  • ALEX THE MAN09/12/2004

So far all the girls I have encountered in the office, building, trains, shopping centres, parties and buses love this smell. Its a very distinct, classy smell. Not overpowering, just nice. Attracts the ladies. Can be worn at all times. Lasts about 5-6hours on me then starts to weaken.

  • BEAVER MAN09/10/2004

My name says it all- it i got the name from my incessant application of vera wang's man cologne. I no longer need this as I am a professional now and dont need the help of perfume to get intimate female companionship. I am trying to be politically correct on this thread otherwise the moderators will not post it. All I want to say is this: Fellas should get this perfume to perfect their skills, and after perfecting them, get married and then it dosnt matter what you have on!!!!!

  • ED09/04/2004

    This cologne smells so good!

  • MARY K. 09/01/2004

Just had to say, this is an entirely sexy and drool-inducing scent guys! Love it for the guy in my life!

  • R.J.07/16/2004

HQ Bottel and CAp ...fragrance is not unique...

  • MMM06/03/2004

this is a wonderful cologne for men. very warm and inviting never overpowering even from the begining. highly recommended

  • DRIZZLE05/27/2004

beautifull scent. warm and fresh. perfect for an evening or special occasion scent....... awww what the hell, wear it any time.

  • SCOOTER05/26/2004

Clean, fresh, not an assault on the senses. Very elegant and classy. Nothing but compliments on this one. It has become the 'one to beat' in my collection.

  • ROB H.04/27/2004

I could've sworn I entered the excellent rating category, but oh well. Anyways it's 5 stars all the way!

  • ROB H.04/24/2004

How to describe this highly seductive scent? Sexy? Elegant? Sophisticated? This very sensuous and refined new scent is without a doubt worth paying full-price for. Every man out there that knows his cologne should include this stand-out fragrance in their collection. The women love this. I rate it at 5 stars+.

  • EDDIE04/23/2004

It has staying power yet it is not overpowering. My wife and co-workers seem to really like it; but occaisionally, to me, it has a hint of freshly mown grass. Anyway, the top note is especially terrific IMO.

  • ERS04/21/2004

I bought this fragrance as a part of my many collection of fragrances, It rocks!!! I was told by many that this should be my signature fragrance from now on.

  • W.B.04/09/2004

VERA GOT OFF TO A GOOD START ON THIS ONE AND IT'LL BE A KEEPER IN MY COLLECTION. A SOON-TO-BE PLEASANT SURPRISE FOR THE LADIES.
