I started to use this perfume way back in the seventies and then I couldn't find it for ages. I have once again found it on this site but lots of reports saying that it is not the same. I don't want to buy something that is of a different calibre to the original as I absolutely loved it. Why have they changed it.

  • PAM03/01/2012

I love wearing this sophisticated perfume, paticularly when going out at night or for any special occasion.

  • MAGGIE CHAN01/11/2012

I started to use this perfume since it was introduced but somewhere along the line it has changed, it is not the same as the orignal formula. I bought some in Paris I can't seem to find them here in Vancouver, B.C. Canada anymore. The ones I got from internet are all of new formula and do not smell the same. Someone PLEASE tell Caron that they should continue this perfume and PLEASE use the original formula.

Infini by Caron is not the same as it was in the 70's, unless you can afford the perfume, and there is little of that left. There is a distinct difference in formulation between the original and the current cologne. If you can afford the perfume in the small bottle that looks just like the original bottle then you can have the original scent. They are not too plentiful, but worth it.

THis is absolutely NOT the same as was several years ago. The was one of 2 fragrances that I could wear, but something has changed. This is NOT the same as it was.

I have been using this fragrance since I was a girl. it is light and spicy and never fails to get attention. If you want to have a quality signiture this is the one.

  • ELLIZA09/12/2003

the edt i got smells almost entirely like woodsmoke and very little of anything else, much less hyacinths, lily of the valley, or tuberose. smoke barely if at all interpretable as sandalwood or vetiver. but caron is usually so lovely, that i have to wonder

Infini de Caron has become impossible to find except on the internet. I was told in a parfumerie in France last summer that it had been discontinued. There used to be a distinct difference between the French formula & the one marekted in the US, but the one I just bought in France now smells like the American version.

  • J. FOLEY04/12/2002

I was told that this perfume was discontinued in Canada also. But I loved it in the 70's & hope it is the same formula.

  • L.PARKER12/06/2001

This fragrance was originally introduced in 1972. It may have been discontinued in the US market but the formula is the same.

  • T.L.HIGGINS07/12/2001

Does anyone know if this is the same fragrance that they made under this name in the "70s"?I thought it was discontinued.

  • SUSAN T.05/04/2001

Infini never fails to draw compliments... even from total strangers. It's a wonderfully light but spicy floral fragrance that always makes me feel very special.
