I have been wearing this perfume for 15 years and it is totally my signature scent. I receive compliments EVERYDAY! I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been wearing this sent for over 10 years. I have tried others, but I always go back. Never had anything but compliments when I wear this frangrance.

I posted a review here 5 years ago, raving about this fragrance. I wear it in the spring & summer. Today was the first time I'd worn it this year & I got 7 compliments from complete strangers within 2 hours. (Men especially seem to like it!) It's fabulous. (If you like attention, try it! ) For comparison, I'll list some of the other scents I like: Boucheron, Trouble (also from Boucheron), BY (Dolce & Gabbana), & 24 Faubourg (Hermes). Hope this helps!

This perfume is so woody, oriental, strong, seductive but... not too strong to me at all! To me it just smells like a million bucks, very recommended!

Just purchased a mini of Rodier and happy to say it's a keeper!! It is a lovely fragrance. I tend to like the sweet and seductive types of fragrances...

Found this when in the Bahamas. Did a perfume analysis and this was the match. Absolutely love it - and wear for special occasions.

I tried it dont like it,it was a gift,I had to give it away.

Can you help me? I like scents like Hypnotic Poison, L'or, Burberry London, do you think I would enjoy this one? Also, is it available in the united states anywhere but the internet? Thanks!

First my review on Rodier: I love this! This is something to wear for an evening out on the town. It calls for a dressy outfit, theater tickets - the works! It's classy and beautiful. Paulette - Have you tried New West? It is a great casual, clean scent that is perfect for daytime. I think the kids would love it too. If you like warm, cozy scents then I'd try Opium's new summer fragrance. It's got Opium's sexiness but it toned down from the original. I hope this helps!

Since you are an expert and I am a novice with fragrance, what would you recommend to a 40-year-old who wants a signature fragrance her husband and children could be fond of? Something warm and affectionate for the kids, and then something else romantic for the hubby. Thanks!

Well ladies, based on all the stellar reviews you have given this fragrance, I'm doing something I have never done--I ordered it 'smell-unseen'. Hope it's as great as you say! Some of my fave scents that I own & wear are EL's Beautiful & Pleasures Intense, and CK's Sheer Obsession. Wish me luck!

Rodier is an excelente fragance. Sweet, sensual and exquisite.

Thanks ladies, based on your rating I ordered the eau de parfum - just got it this morning and tried it on asap. It is lovely = ) goes on kind of sweet and musky with a hint of floral, and dries down to a delicate "chocolate"?! scent - really pleasingly sweet. Thank goodness I got the 3.4 oz bottle so now I can indulge! It is my new favorite next to Chanel No.5, Spring Flower (Creed) and Vera Wang.

I really like this one and don't know why exactly. I bought it on a whim, based on the evaluations here. It has a "funny" but engaging top note, sort of like peppermint or something astringent. But the dry-down is marvelous -- sweet, musky, warm with a pinch of the aforementioned astringent quality. Very unusual!!!

Rodier is divine.

What a find! I bought Rodier on the basis of your recommendations (I usually wear Boucharon). I ordered it on Sunday, received it on Monday & wore it today (Tuesday). Right out of the gate I had men following me around...one said "Is that you that smells so good?" I've had this happen with Boucheron also. I put this on at 9 a.m. & was still getting compliments at 6 p.m. It's now 3:00 a.m. & I am still getting wafts of it...it seems to change a bit over time, while still retaining its essence. Anyway, I absolutely love it! Now I have a question...how is Rodier pronounced? At first, I thought it was "ro-dee-a", but then thought perhaps it was "ro-di-eer" (or even ro-deer). It's ironic, as my father's side of the family is French, but I'm clueless on how to pronounce this! If anyone can educate me, I would be most appreciative. But I still thank you for the recommendation of this fabulous perfume. I'm waiting on the shipment of my next "adventure"...Scherrrer #2! Have any of you tried that? Thanks, Paulette

Also my favorite of all! Let's see, it smells sweet...chocolate, peaches, cinnamon with a splash of musk. On the same level as Boucheron (also a sweet dark fragrance). Get compliments ALL the time. Smells like no other perfume and hard to find....no one else has heard of it or wears it. For a special evening or party...not the best perfume to wear on a picnic..it is too elegant.

I am a perfume fanatic and have over 40 bottles. I tried this fragrance and could not believe the smell. I love both dark, sweet, romantic scents as well as fresh floral frangranced and use them in the appropriate setting. This is all about elegance and wore it for my wedding and our honeymoon trip to Maui....now when I wear it I think of Hawaii and my wedding day. Out of all my fragrances, it is my husbands favorite as well.
