given as a gift years ago, then discontinued in the US. Originally it was a musk rated parfume but has been reformulated but still remains an all time favorite, especially for evening wear. I am pleased to be able to purchase it once again.

I have a huge collection of fragrances. These are all high-end designer fragrances. Of all those I have, this is my husband's all time favorite. He LOVES this fragrance. I think it is good, but I am going to give it an "excellent" rating because of his love for this. If you want a man-pleaser, maybe you should try this one. It has a very nice smell.

My husband made me a present of it in 1967. I still have a little drop of it, and it still smells wonderful. I live in Spain and I have been trying to find it in the UK and Europe for yearsm but have been told that it is no l;onger available in those countries. So I am so very pleased to be able to buy it on line.

I was told that Weil was a furrier in Paris and that Antilope- the perfume was made especially for his fur company for his antilope fur coats

have been looking for this perfume for years. a very dear friend bought it for me and now i can't seem to find it. they told me target sells it. which one?

I started wearing it years ago. Recently bought some online and it wasn't the real thing-looked like its box and bottle but definitely a fake. How can I be sure yours is real because if it is I'd love to buy it? Whenever I wear it, which is often, I'm frequently asked, "What is that lovely scent?"

I bought this unsmelled and am very happy with it. I was just wondering, does anybody know the origin of the name?

i'm not a perfume professional or anything. but this is a wonderful exotic musky scent to me. i bought the cologne because it was cheaper and now i'm regretting it. i wish i'd invested in the EDP version so i could enjoy the smell longer. As a side note, my honey is ok with antilope though he does not crave it the way i do. he's a persistant Bulgari Pour Femme fan

Lovely and haunting. This classic will remain one-of-a-kind. To me, if you crossed 'Coriandre' with 'Chanel No.5' you would have the beautiful 'Antilope'. Also, the relaunched EDP is the original version and very long lasting.

Does anyone have a source for Antilope in a fragrance oil form? I used to buy this but can't find it now.

This is a great, classic fragrance. I like it a lot. It reminds me of Ma Griffe. It's light, and not long lasting, but on my skin the vetiver is very pronounced in the drydown. It has a dry sweetness to it, like dried hay and clover, though it's quite floral & feminine in the beginning. So, it has a surprisingly masculine quality to it (what I think of as masculine anyway), too. Could probably be a unisex scent. I'm wearing it today and enjoying it as daytime scent. (For evenings, I tend to prefer no-holds-barred florals.) If you like a subtle type of scent, you might like this Antilope.

Years ago I was traveling to Tokyo, Japan and was seated next to an attractive older woman in her eighties. She had on a fragrance which was which was unbeliebeably erotic and exotic. I told her I had to change seats because the scent had some unreal effect on some very basic primal instincts. Since then I have purchased Antelope by Weil of Paris for everyone I have dated. You can only assume the effect it has had on our relationsips. This fragerence has to be the world's best kept secret because it is not readily available and I have to order it here online. This gets a six star WOW !

While living in Paris, I became hooked! Antilope lets you lead the way and the fragrance follows. It's subtle and feminine and tres French! Makes me feel like I'm wearing a lacy peignoir all day long!

When first sprayed on it smells to me like Madame Rochas (another floral/aldehyde scent), but Antilope's drydown is different and better than Madame Rochas'. Antilope's drydown is soft and powdery and floral. I am 56 years old, bear in mind, and prefer the older scents.

Have used it for years. Getting harder to find. Wonderful fragrance for young and old.Light but fragrant

A wonderful subtile, powdery perfume with an animal hint. Discrete and longlasting. Because of the powdery aspect not best suited for younger women, but perfect for ladies 50+. I hope it still will be in the market when I reach fifty!

This scent is almost undescribeable. It is feminine, understated and elegant it knows heads will turn to view the beautiful lady wearing it so it doesn't need to yell. It's creamy and only slightly powdery. Can't say enough good things about this one.

A little reminiscent of Calèche but, to me, better - cleaner? stronger? What a pity it has become so hard to get hold of.
