  • DON CORLEONE08/22/2011

Dude, this smells absolutely nothing like Joop. Might want to have your olfactory sense checked out bro. I own Joop, and sadly it has remained lonely in my medicine cabinet for a couple of years, though I used to wear it a lot. Joop is spicy, cinnamony, orange blossomy, with a grape-ish drydown, and super strong as hell. Rochas man is none of those things my friend. I would honestly never wear Joop out on a date, but Rochas! Hell yes!!!

  • DON CORLEONE08/22/2011

For gourmand lovers such as myself, this stuff simply can't be beat. Wins hands down over A*men... The light lavender sugar-crusted over a mocha backdrop simply tantalizes the senses. I love it's aroma, and so do all the ladies. Sillage and longevity could be better, but I won't complain too much. I apply rather heavily and the compliments keep coming in, it's not overpowering even with 6-8 sprays. Love this stuff.

  • ZEVEN09/03/2007

This smells too much like Joop! and everybody and their brother is wearing that Joop!. It's become to common a scent, so it's time to stop wearing it. After all...I like to stand out. Can you dig it?

  • PITER07/23/2007

It's quite good, like Le Male mixed with coffee and lavender - but not soo clean. For me was a little disaapointment; aspecially because the smell is not soo clean. Lavender note make it fresh from the start but after it is getting more sinthetic like. I love that sweet vanilla drydown but it still not what I was looking for. I heard that Bond No9 has got better version of it. I wonder how Intense goes with the original version? RM Intense is pink and in a smaller bottle. Hard to find it. I only heard is more sweet... never had a chance to samlpe it. Anybody?

  • KNIGHT07/02/2007

Smells great but the base is kind of weak...can hardly smell it after a while. How dissapointing!

  • GERT JAN VAN WATERINK06/06/2007

Too chemical, too urban.........too much about sex, sex and sex. Some citrus undertones, but for the rest a boring deo-like fragrance.........in a big dildo-bottle.

  • LESTAT05/17/2007

Very nice fragrance coffee with lavender does its job well.Longevity No problem there. No doubt very smooth !!

  • RYAN03/27/2007

Just bought myself a bottle of this. Incredibly sexy and edible. This one threw me off at first. First time I smelled it, I thought yum. Second time, it seemed extremely boring. Third time must be the charm because tonight I fell in love with it and purchased. As for the pronunciation, the 's' at the end of french words is usually silent. It is pronounced "rowsha."

  • SCENTMAN02/24/2007

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES A MUST HAVE TO ANYONE. I THINK THIS COMBINATION OF LAVANDER AND COFFE MAKES IT SMOOTH AND RALAXING AND SWEET. GOOD STAYNG POWER GREAT DRYDOWN. GOT TO GO EASY ON THIS ONE. JUST ONE OR TWO PUMPS WILL DO THE A GOOD JOB. MORE THAN THAT BECOMES ANNOYNG WOMEN LOVE IT. BEST ORIENTAL OUTTHERE UNNIQUE.

  • LEO02/07/2007

Thank you for your extremely fast advice, much appreciated. As far as the frag--I have tried it now, and do like it, however I'm still gonna be searching for a good deal wherever I can find it.

  • COLOGNE COLLECTOR02/05/2007

Leo, how long a fragrance lasts is very subjective. Different frags lasts different length on different people. Rochas Man lasts around 6-8 hours on me, but it might not on you. It all depends on skin chemistry, like if your skin is oily or not, what kind of diet you have....etc. My best advice is that you test the stuff out, and see how long it lasts. After all, to best determine a fragrance of its overall effect you'll just have to try it for yourself. Best of luck!

  • LEO02/03/2007

Can one of you let me know how long I can expect this to last?

  • SAQUIB12/30/2006

The top note has a lingering sour smell which I dislike. The base note with amber and the coffee smells nice. Very subtle scent tho; can only smell up close

  • JANNINE11/03/2006

My boyfriend owned this until it sadly got lost in a road trip. It is the most incredible, edible men's cologne out there. I couldn't believe he'd picked this for himself, since I'm the nose in the house. A testament to his excellent taste, I guess! Be warned: when you wear this, women will want to eat you alive.

  • FARNO09/20/2006

I love this cologne, it is a very sweet, smooth, powder. It could almost be feminin. I don't smell the coffee and don't think it starts with a cotton candy smell. It is simply exquisite.

  • Z.G. ARCHIBALD08/12/2006

Very unusual woody-sweet fragrance seems to work well with my chemistry being that quite a few women out there claim it smells yummy. The coffee gives it that unique spin.

  • SMOKEY MCGHEE06/08/2006

Good stuff Rochas. Very similar to Joop and Body Kouros. Has a sweetness to it, much less brash than Angel Amen. I highly recommend it.

  • A. BOREALIS05/31/2006

Rather unusually sweet (if not overly sweet) and woody cologne is pretty good stuff but compliments coming from women could be a bit better, though. Many like it but I have occasionally received some negative feedback from a couple of beautiful women out there that it's just way too sweet.

  • STUART04/19/2006

My uncle (51) was wearing that awful Angel Amen and it was kicking bad so I went out and bought this for him. If you wanna smell like a chocolate bar you may as well smell like a good one and not offend everyone like Angel does. He loves it and women keep coming on to him. Recently divorced and successful I think he'll land someone soon. Thank God he threw away the Angel.

  • J. YORK03/20/2006

Ultrasweet cotton candy-like fragrance could be a little better if it weren't "sickeningly sweet".

  • JOEUSMC02/03/2006

I guess I like scents that project, this has pinch of chocolate mixed in with le male to give a comforting scent, but I wish it stood out a bit more...... can't complain too much, but test this one out first. It is hard to find. I think I'll stick with A*men it fits a more masculine personaility in my opoinion.

  • SENIOR ROCHAZ02/01/2006

Rochas is a very nice cologne. I've worn it out on the town and to work. The women like it so I'll definately be getting more. Rochas is best worn in the fall/winter months.

  • P.T. STOCTOROCTON12/26/2005

Supersweet and a bit unusual fragrance that just seems to work wonders with the women.

  • ME12/24/2005

It all depends on who you ask. I've had one woman tell me that it's too sweet and another woman tell me that it smells really good. Some women like musky or pungent scents on men and others like sweet scents. Regardless of what cologne you use, you can't please everybody. Rochas is very sweet. Some liken it to cotton candy or cocoa.

  • ROB H.12/21/2005

To tell you honestly, I think the red bottle you're talking about is actually just a limited edition casing for the bottle itself. I think!

  • RMJ12/19/2005

I was just wondering if there is any difference between the red bottle one and the white bottle one? If so, what is the difference?

  • CURIOUS GEORGE BUSH12/15/2005

Forgive my ignorance but...how does one pronounce ROCHAS? Is it like "roachaaz" or is the CH sound a hard 'K' sound? Or is it a soft 'sh' sound? Thanks for your help

  • RX-812/08/2005

Awfully sweet and quite unusual fragrance but all the beautiful women can't seem to keep their hands off me whenever I'm wearing it.

  • HAROLD11/28/2005

Extremely sweet and a bit unusual fragrance is a hit with the ladies and is VERY noticeable from far away with just a couple of sprays.

  • GRAMMATON CLERIC11/07/2005

A sensual icy-sweet fragrance that's probably the sweetest I've ever smelled and I always get wonderful compliments from all.

  • CRIS11/02/2005

hi I had a question i actually agree with you this fragrance rochas man is one of the best but there is one that i love and is discontinued Nicole miller for men do you know of a fragrace that smells almost the same as nicole miller for men i know you know your stuff.

  • WES CLEMENS10/27/2005

I agree with Synergy about smelling like A*Men and Hanae Mori but better. Smells like cotton candy which I love to have whenever I go to a fair or amusement park. Otherwise if you like ultrasweet fragrances, then this is for you.

  • RYYDMAN09/19/2005

To me this is a very special fragrance, i don't always like sweet scents but this one is my favorite. It is similar to A*Men but as mentioned it's more refined and elegant in its nature. It really does smell good enough to eat too with hints of chocolate and caramel and it will be one of the few scents i will restock when my bottle is finished. Very different and very good!

  • SYNERGY09/14/2005

Uniquely sweet like Angel Men/Hanae Mori but better. My wife loves it and wherever I go, it's heads up with a smile from every woman out there.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE08/03/2005

My goodness, what a blast of sweetness!! One of the sweetest fragrances out there that the women are practically rubbing themselves against me whenever I wear it!!

  • MAYA07/27/2005

Yes, as a woman this fragrance worn by my bf is an absolute magnet! It has a very sexy-smooth masculine quality and yet with a liquid-like gentleness it transforms into a sensual feminine irresistible force, only to again & again rock back and forth between the two.

  • STEVE YOUNG07/13/2005

Not to be confused with the former SF 49ers QB, but anyways. This scent is way too sweet but my wife and all her lady friends love it as well as every beautiful woman that walks by me, so I guess it's a definite babe-magnet and a keeper.

  • DR FEELGOOD07/02/2005

horrible smell !! theres a lot better than this ! no, no... so sweet, so, so.... awful smell !

  • BRIAN06/29/2005

you said there is patchouli in this? I wish there was! I love patchouli, it's what makes Desire by Dunhill, one of my favorites. They are both great but one small problem I have with this is the overbearing use of lavender. It's too overkill and it would be so much better as a middle note insted of a top note. Patchouli as a top note would be better but of course still have the coffee in the top note. I like lavender but not too much!

  • M.R.06/22/2005

A wonderful supersweet scent from Rochas that catches the attention from all the ladies. Wear it if you don't mind smelling like cotton candy.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI06/20/2005

Or Matsuhika's Mat without gagging. In any case far superior to either. Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm a big fan of Rochas, having given the somewhat strange Aquaman 5 stars (what the hell, Lui is a 10 star and Moustache a 7 so it balances out) Here I beleive I'm on solid ground. This is a sophisticated, elegant and unique oriental/woody scent. Cofee, patchouli, amber, vanilla and lavender? Hard to pull it off. Rochas does it with flying colors. An easy 5 stars.

  • MRLONGROVE03/11/2005

This is a fine cologne but not for everyone. It almost smells like something to eat. It's very similar to Body Kouros and Angel Amen. Angel Amen is stronger and a bit more harsh ( I still like Angel but not as much). Rochas Man and Body Kouros are more refined, and smoother smelling. I recommend them both. They're both great for evenings out.

  • CAIUS12/28/2004

Hi there Gian. These are my top 10 colognes. 10)Bvlgari Extreme 9)Escada Sentiment 8)Boucheron by Boucheron 7)Rochas Man 6)Rykiel Homme 5)Kenneth Cole Reaction 4)Lanvin Homme 3)Dolce & Gabbana 2)Hanae Mori by Hanae Mori 1)Mont Blanc Individuel. If you have any other questions, you can e-mail me [email protected].

  • ANNIE11/21/2004

I was attracted to this by the packaging. It is rather sweet but compelling. My husband hates "fruity" and "musky" so I bought it. I have been fighting women away ever since.

  • SAMY11/12/2004

i used a tester, my wife asked me if i have an affair..this surely is a women's perfume..i hated the smell, and had to wash it away..get lui rochas instead.much better

  • COLLECTOR11/07/2004

What can i say, it's stunningly fabulous! Better than A*men, better than Pi, better than all gourmand scents out there! Brilliant!

  • GIAN FROM BRAZIL10/16/2004

Hello Caius. I would like know what other fragrances you select in your top list (10). I want options to discovery new fragrances. Awaiting your answer. Regards.

  • MAN10/12/2004

Very good. There is very few scents quite like this. while all the rest are wearing that bloody aqua di gio (good, but overused) you will be unique. But remember, make a man out of yourself first, don't expect this to do it.

  • CAIUS09/21/2004

I find "Rochas Man" to be one of my 10 best fragrances in my collection. I had a compliment from a lady one time. This one lovely lady said that I smell like a cake. Was it good or bad compliment? I would say gooooooooooood. Hey, maybe I am good enough to eat.

  • DR.GONZO09/13/2004

When you take away all gender lables it's intresting to see how we just appreciate the good product that this is.This is a quite feminine fragrance. Still it works well for most men (as long as it's sold as a fragrance for men in a more masculine bottle). It could easily be for women or at least unisex. I had one myself some years ago and it was great, could buy it again. Very sweat vanilla. A bit to strong at first but wait and see. An option would be Ted Lapidus pour lui which I prefer.

  • ANT08/26/2004

Every time I wear Rochas Man I always get complements. Just by walking by someone people have stopped me... Get Noticed!!!

  • GIAN FROM BRAZIL08/14/2004

Hello W.B. Thanks for your help about Rochas Man. You are very kindly. In Brazil all perfumes all imported, then it´s very, very expensives. Before buy is necessary make a good choice. Comparing prices and salaries between USA and Brazil, here the perfume cost approximately US$ 200.00 (3,4oz). I wait that this reality change soon. Best Regards. [email protected]

  • *SYLVIE*07/27/2004

Great sexy stuff for men AND(!) women!!! Rochas Man reminds me of A*men/Angel for Men. Rochas Man smells more masculine, fresh, bittersweet and strong like coffee. The dry-down from A*men smells softer and sweeter like a hot vanilla/chocolate-drink. Delicious-foody-scent. Can't smell the coffee in A*men. Both fragrances are very unique and wonderful. Masterpieces of perfumery.

  • W.B.07/13/2004

THIS IS A GREAT SCENT AND THE WOMEN LOVE IT. HOWEVER, I DO AGREE WITH ADRIAN IN THAT THE BODY CHEMISTRY DOES PLAY A ROLE IN HOW THE WELL THE SCENT BLENDS INTO YOUR SKIN AND HOW LONG IT LASTS. IT ALSO HELPS TO TRY TO BUY THIS IN A GIFT SET(COLOGNE, SHOWER GEL, AND AFTER SHAVE LOTION). SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO ACCESSORIZE TO MAKE THE SCENT LAST LONG ENOUGH TO YOUR LIKING. I HOPE THAT HELPS YOU IN THE MEANTIME. LATER.

  • ADRIAN07/08/2004

one of the best smelling colognes around for most men. Blended with notes of vanilla, chocolate and sandalwood it is a oriental and woody fragrance and is superb. The only downside is that the smell varies from person to person, so you should test it before buying

  • GIAN FROM BRAZIL07/02/2004

I tried this scent last month and I loved. But I have a doubt: I have the feeling that it does not last long. Someone could help me? Thanks a lot.

  • R.J.06/24/2004

A GEORGEOUS SCENT. WHEN I WEAR THIS, I FEEL LIKE THE PIED PIPER AND LADIES WILL FOLLOW LIKE MICE IN A TRANCE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MR. ROCHAS.

  • ROB H.06/09/2004

If you like Rochas fragrances and like aquatic-like scents, give Aquaman a try. The name might sound a bit tacky but it's worth the money which is in the average price range.

  • ROB H.05/19/2004

This very pleasing and sophisticated aroma is a winner in my collection. Wonderful from the first sprays to the end of the drydown. Fellas, if this stuff sounds like it could be great to wear but maybe too commonly worn and want to be different then try Chevignon 57 by Chevignon. Chevignon is actually a division of Jacques Bogart Parfums....if anybody cares.

  • SMELLY05/13/2004

A nice, sweet soft fragrance. Is very similar to Body Kouros; actually almost exact. That one is nice too. Enjoy it.

  • JEFF05/02/2004

This scent apparently is marketed to a certain segment of the male population that find candy fragrances appealing. I do not. Nor do I want to be within one hundred feet of anyone wearing this overbearing scent. I almost started laughing when I sampled this at the mall.........get real.

  • SKIPPY03/24/2004

Sometimes when you go to the mall you have to be careful that the salesperson doesn't give you too many sprays. Ultimately I was given too many sprays and could be smelled for a half block away. I was sprayed with many scents. I can say that the strongest one was this. The woman said that other women say guys who wear it smell "delicious." Personally I didn't like it. I agree that it's too sweet and it would have to be a cologne for evenings out. To tell you how sweet the smell is, although she was really hyping Rochas man she said she thought it smelled like "cotton candy." You might not be able to go by me because I like lighter scents like Egoiste Platinum or Chanel Mania. If your wearing Rochas Man everyday, I hope its no more than one spray a day, and please rotate it so you don't kill someone who might not like it. I know it's getting a little warmer out but today my boss said, "I think its time to get a new coat." I was wearing it when the day the Cologne Lady went crazy spraying me.

  • LEO03/13/2004

    great smell

  • TONI FINISH01/28/2004

This one is excellent. You should know what I`m talking about. And if you don`t, maybe you`ll have to change your medication. Or get one.

  • BETO01/18/2004

This scent has all the women talking at work and where I play They all love it on me and want to know what it is and where I get it!

  • BUNNYMAN12/16/2003

A beutiful aromatic scent. What more can I say. Very sensual and warm and alluring. The coffee and lavender are just delicious, I have been told by nearly every woman I encounter. RochasMan is not mass marketed as are all the Calvin Kleins, Tommys, Ralph Luarens, ect. etc. etc. whom have very little identy, which RochasMan exudes in so many ways. This is definitly a cut above the rest. The very fact that it is not available at every godforsaken department store in the vicinity is nice as well. I have been looking for quite sometime for something like this and am more than pleased. If you like Opium by YSL you may like this, but Opium's vanilla is quite intese. The textured notes of coffee and lavender are perfect in RochasMan, very subtle yet stronger where they should be. If you can handle some extra female attention you may want to look into RochasMan.

  • W.B. 10/31/2003

FELLAS, I'VE SAMPLED THIS AND UPON THE FIRST WHIFF: PARADISE IN A BOTTLE. IT'S GREAT TO WEAR DAY AND NIGHT. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.

  • THE BODDEN MEN10/05/2003

"Earth shaking"!! On the Richter scale-----definitely a 10!!

  • SCOTT09/02/2003

Great smeling but for a man 0/5! It has a similar smell to Coco Mademoiselle which is totally for a woman! Worst possible fragrance for a man but one of the best for a woman!

  • MAURICIO08/03/2003

Aquaman and Rochas man are fantastic . The first is aquatic, spicy and fresh; Rochas Man is a sweet and oriental smell (no similar to that orrendous angel smell). Totally original fragances . go and get them

  • BRIAN07/27/2003

I really want to try one of Rochas colonges. I think Aquaman sounds great cause it looks aquatic/lavender and I love the smell of euciliptus. This one though has coffee in it. Last cologne I tried that had coffee in it was terrible (Amen) but that also had carmel and other junk in it.

  • CHRIS07/25/2003

This stuff really is good. It's heads and shoulders above Thierry Muglers ANGEL. Angel has too many notes in it and ends up with a jumbled burnt coffee, caramel, chocolate scent thats a bit strange. Rochas man is more pure. It's sweet and the coffee, chocolate scent is lighter and more refined. And like all the others said, it is good that this fragrance isn't sold everywhere, making it unique. I was lucky enough though, to find a gift set at a Marshalls discount clothing store as well as the after shave balm. Excellent, excellent stuff. Im going to try Rochas Aquaman next.

  • MR H06/11/2003

A*Man refers to A*Men (Angel Men) by Thierry Mugler. It is potent, sweet, and while most guys hate it, most women love it. I can attest to this personally. It is of the same genre as Rochas Man, which I intend to purchase next.

  • JIM06/05/2003

    Which perfume is A-MAN?

  • ZEUS05/15/2003

This is absolutely one of the best in my opinion. The scent is different from 99.9% of the colognes out and it smells so tasty that girls might ask to lick you.(HA, HA.) Seriously, it is one very pleasant cologne that is a joy to wear.

  • MARIUSZ04/09/2003

Very nice scent, sweet, oriental, and make me happy (like Nikos Sculpture and A-Man). My wife use it and love it. It could be little bit longer lasts or it`s something wrong with my skin...

  • MARCUS04/07/2003

man rochas is a differend smell from the rest. it has a powerful smell thats lasts long and is very noticable. man rochas has a very appealing bottle and the fragrance smells just like cotton candy.

  • KEN03/30/2003

I find it way too floral in an artificial way. Amen is a lot better!!!

  • KATANASIX03/04/2003

I now own ten colognes and I have to say that this is now among my top 5. It's unique fragrance and quality sets it apart from the others. The ambery mocha notes smell great. I would rate this up their in my top three with "Dreamer" and "Sculpture", two other great scents. If you don't have it please try it, it's beautiful.

  • RICK01/30/2003

It's very romantic, sweet and sexy. GREAT CHOICE!

  • SIMON01/26/2003

Beautiful scent, well made and rich but feminine to the max. I gave this to my girlfriend. Forget it if you are a man.

  • TRAV01/18/2003

Thank you for your compliments. I like Tresor very much. It's a class scent. My favorite perfume is Realities by Claiborne. That may surprise you, but this scent gives me goose bumps. It is just so unbelievably feminine. I think it's great for all occasions and anytime of year. For me, it evokes a very strong emotional response. When I think of a beautiful woman, I think of Realities. I vacillate between that and Ocean Dream. Sometimes I think I like one better than the other. Also, I have found that Boucheron is perhaps the most erotic scent available, read the comments about it. Good luck.

  • VITALIS01/14/2003

all its beauty reveals then you spray it on fresh body. It's amazing and women driving crazy

  • RIC12/26/2002

after the cotton candy top notes subside this nice rich deep (almost 10% tobacco) scent emerges. one I display in my collection proudly.

  • VORTEX12/14/2002

AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY LONG LASTING ... sweeeeeet ... makes women crazy! :))

  • STU12/13/2002

Maybe after prayer, but hardly the fragrance Amen by Mugler. That one stinks. Rochas Man is okay but its real strong so don't overdo it.

  • KERRILYN12/04/2002

I really appreciate the way you went into detail about this fragrance. I have been on a long search for the perfect womans daytime fragrance, and the perfect night time fragrance, and I wondered if you have any thoughts on that. I find I go back to Lancome's, Tresor time and time again. It has an amazing rounded quality to it, as opposed to the usual pyramid-like drydown. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it if you would take a moment to enlighten me. To me a fine fragrance is like a wonderful blanket where I am reminded throughout the day that love is the most important gift of life. If only I could find that perfect blanket. Maybe it's Tresor for daytime and something else for romantic wear. Thanks.

  • DANIEL11/28/2002

Get AMEN it is much better and has the chocolate coffee notes

  • JOHNKARSEN11/26/2002

It smells very romantic, and is on of my favorite colognes I wear!

  • TALI09/24/2002

what do you think about woman that use it? i love this smell very much on myself but have an argue with my husband...

  • STASH09/24/2002

I thought I liked this but I now find it to be really strong and overbearing. I gave the bottle to my uncle who is luvin it so at least my purchase went to good use.

  • NED09/17/2002

this perfume is one of mine favorites i also like the dreamer (G Versace) body kouros and BY dolce & gabbana

  • JOSH09/13/2002

I love Rochas Man. It's great! And if you can find the spray deodorant...grab it. Ned: I like Body Kouros. It's very warm and unique (in a Rochas Man way). And the spray deodorant is also great. But I do find, that a little of Body K, goes a long way. But it's a winner and very unique. Josh

  • NED09/10/2002

what do you guys think about body kouros

  • RON08/17/2002

    a great soft smell

  • JETSET07/31/2002

What can I say more than this perfume is INCREDIBLE!He change my Life...this is what I expact from a perfume! Now that I find it, can I say that I'm Happy.Thank YOU!

  • ERIC07/19/2002

Hater can't stand it but I sure can. Macy's carries it, is this a large enough department store? It's sold everywhere online. So how difficult is it to find. We all have opinions like we all have. . .

  • CRIS05/28/2002

Hi, to all the guys and girls who really love this perfume.I also like it and I consider it is very classy. But everytime when I am wearing it, I have the feeling that it does not last long.Have anyone of you the same sensation,or my nose is the reason. Can you help me with an answer?

  • JOEL05/22/2002

I'm not going to disrespect you or anyone else for verbalizing an opinion. Why though did you use a fragrance you dislike so much? Perhaps like some others you purchased it online. Rochas man is great in my opinion, but is definitely not suited for all occasions. It's not something to wear with shorts, sandals, and a tank-top. It's sweet sure, but not in an acidic way like Cool Water for instance. I personally don't know why Rochas products aren't sold in stores, but don't forget that there are other designers that generally don't sell in stores (Chopard, Yamamoto, Cacharel, etc.).

  • "ROCHAS MAN" LOVER05/22/2002

YOU have to have taste to wear such an exquisite fragrance. It's the best from the market. It's not sold everywhere because Rochas wanted this fragrance not to be a mass fragrance and become extremelly common and everybody will wear it. This is a fragrance for the people that know how to appreciate a good fragrance. I repeat it's not a mass fragrance like all those Tommy's, C.K's, Issey's that when u wear them u will smell commom like everybody else. This is UNIQUE!!!!!!!

  • "ROCHAS MAN" HATER05/22/2002

In spite of all of these posts that rave about Rochas Man, DO NOT, I repeat , D O N O T buy this without trying it first. I found it to be the MOST horrible scent that I have ever used. It is sweet, sickening, and absolutely unbearable. Like all colognes, some may like it, but there is no absolutes. TRY FIRST. PS There must be a reason why it is not sold everywhere.

  • ERIC05/16/2002

Bought two bottles at the same time so when i ran out i'd have the other bottle already!

  • MARIUS8204/16/2002

One of the best fragrances ever created.(same as Casran-Chopard)

  • TO TRAV04/16/2002

Hey Trav, I am so glad that I'm not the only one who finds Rochas Man, simply the best and least discovered FINE fragrance. Have you tried the Shower Gel and the Spray Deodorant? They are BOTH just as amazning as the cologne. Just the Spray Deodorant alone...gives you a great easy whiff of Rochas Man. The only troube is...it's almost imossible to find the Spray Deo. in the US. I had to search the Internet and found it in London! The Shower Gel is available in the US, but that too, is very hard to find. Thanks for your suggestions. I will try them and look forward to it. I tried Acquaman and I just didn't like it.It's very light and almost has no real, distinctive scent...very disappointing for Rochas. Have you tried Rochas Globe? I found a Spray Deodorant and it smelled good. I also have enjoyed Pi by Givenchy. Take care my Rochas man buddy and keep on schpritzing that good stuff. Josh

  • TRAV03/24/2002

Guess it would have helped if I actually looked at the Aquaman message board!!

  • TRAV03/24/2002

I read your message, I'm glad you like Rochas as much as I do. I seldom come across other guys who are as enthusiastic about cologne. Great minds think alike, no?!! If you read this, I'd like to know if you know what Aquaman smells like, and whether or not you like it. I'd really like to get more feedback on that one. I think Rochas products are second to none, and I'm really amazed at how affordable they keep their line of fragrances. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that their advertising is virtually nonexistent. I think you'd like Egoiste by Chanel, and Quasar Adventure by Del Pozo, (if you're not already familiar with them). Egoiste is very warm and mysterious, very different. Adventure is very light and clean and a somewhat sweet, perfect for summer. It's reminiscent of Aqua di Gio, but is not as sweet and certainly less prevalent. Practically everyone wears Aqua or so it seems. It is an excellent one though. I had to ditch them all, I wear Rochas Man exclusively now. It's perfect for summer or winter, I just can't get enough of it. I spray it on my wrist so I can smell it all the time, my squeeze thinks I've flipped out. It's her favorite too. Good luck in your shopping Josh, and best regards.

  • TUM03/24/2002

I agree with you but I think it's a bit overpowering.

  • SEAN03/21/2002

I just recently bought this fragrance, mainly because I noticed that EVERY message in this board is raving about Rochas Man. Its very hard to find, so I had to order it, but I'm glad I did. It's definitely the best cologne i've ever smelled. Such a perfect balance of everything, and I find it fairly long-lasting, but at the same time not over-powering. Who ever comes across this message board is very lucky, because not too many people know about this fragrance. I think I'll stick with Rochas from now on.

  • JOSH03/21/2002

Trav, who wrote the review before this, is 100% right. He put it perfectly. If you are a lover of great, uniquie, masculine scents, then you HAVE to try this one. It's just about an instant classic. And as Trav mentioned, it's NOT sold everywhere, so people have NO idea what you're wearing. Wonderful. You won't be sorry. josh

Guys, this is one of a kind. You'll not find a finer fragrance ANYWHERE. I love cologne, and have searched literally for years and have spent a small fortune trying to find something which is truly "me". I'm sure you guys can relate with that. This cologne stands alone and completely outclasses all others I know of. When you smell this, you can tell that a tremendous amount of time, research, and effort was put into this product. It's somewhat sweet, yet not overly so, and I generally do not like sweet scents. Very unique and special. The coffee note is just exquisite. This is one of the few colognes I know of that is "warm", yet clean and refreshing simultaneously. The top notes are very clean and transparent. It's great that few retailers I know of carry this so very few people have it. Sure it's a bit inconvenient to get this, but it's worth every bit of the effort. I feel this one is best suited for dates and formal situations. Take it from me men, I have extremely good taste and you will NOT be disappointed. I find it very significant and impressive that this message board hasn't a single negative comment about Rochas Man. Consider that, and enjoy it!

Boys, go and buy it if you want to have fun. I know what I'm speaking about because girls are crazy about it. When it comes out on the market (2 years ago or something like that), girls in the perfume store told me:"Oh, my God - that's the best men's fragrance we've ever smelled! It is extraordinary and unlike any other men's perfume." They were right - it was something new in men's fragrances, I just love it and I think it's NO.1!!!

  • GVERVE12/30/2001

The most intoxicating cologne!! The harmonious blend of ingredients such as coffee and lavender create something that is great day or night.

  • RICK THE DICK12/15/2001

Nice, and Women can use the cover for other purposes when the idiot is gone.

  • JASON12/14/2001

this stuff is the the bomb . I love the mocha note that is in this. It is absolutely wonderful. Rochas rules!!!!!!

  • T.SPRING12/13/2001

This fragrance is so intoxicating, sexy...I wanted to jump all over the bottle.

  • KRISTINA12/01/2001

I agree: THE BEST men's fragrance out there!

  • MIREILLE10/14/2001

Rochas Man is the best men fragrance EVER!

  • VIKI09/17/2001

It's the best men fragrance at the moment. It's so worm, unique, very special. When I first smell it in the parfumery two years ago I bought it for my husband immediately. I don't like many men fragrances: YSL-Opium for men is very good, as well J.P.Goultier Le Malle, but Rochas Men is the best.

  • DAVID IN CHARLOTTE09/16/2001

I am always prepared to dislike a new fragrance for men. I am VERY fussy about cologne and after-shaves (I am allergic to LOTS of them, and usually dislike the ones that do not cause my allergies to "go into high gear." ) I was pleasantly surprised by Rochas Man. This scent is wonderful! It's a cut above nearly ALL of the others. I also like Lagerfeld (regular, NOT "Photo") and Opium. It's nice to change once in a while, though, and I am always happy to find a "new" one that is really good. Rachos Man IS REALLY GOOD. Even the bottle is neat. I think most men (and LOTS of women) love this stuff. Try it. You won't be sorry.

  • VICTOR H S09/02/2001

everytime I go to the club I mix Rochas & CKone the girls go crazy and comment to other guys that they should get ideas from me and learn to use a great sent to complement themselves, anyways I love Rochas MAN you should try it and see how much atention youll get.. almost works like magic............

  • ERNEST05/22/2001

This is one great, sensual scent. Its a subtle blend of Le Male, Yohji, and Joop. The jasmine, coffee, lavender, and amber notes are well blended and delicious! The bottle is cool! You turn it upside down to spray and rightside up to go back in the cap! If you like sensual and sweet!! Try this!:-)
