I purchased this fragrance blind, by the reviews of others and I wasn't disappointed. It is quite different. Not too heavy but still lingering, Don't know what all the notes are but feel special when wearing it.

the perfect match between the name and the smell. Elegant and Royal . From the very first moment my favorite for many years now. I like Hugo Boss, Vistorias Secret, and Dior perfumes but Doulton is always number one. One of the kind.

Very classy, when I where it I always have someone ask what I'm wearing. First bought in Europe on a trip, fell in love with it. I was taking care of my mother in the hospital, and had sprayed on my wrist the day before, the nurse came in the following morning and said, wow this room smells "wonderful". Later she wanted me to write down the name of the fragrance. Need I say more. This is one of the best perfumes ever, I've had many but this is the most elegant, sensual one I have ever smelled, timeless.

I've bought this based on the positive comments on this board and would just like to add saying that this is fabulous. My lover was just smitten by this perfume. He was so surprised when I sprayed it on, well, you can only imagine! And I'm very happy with it. The only problem will be to find it any of the local stores, but at least I know I can get it online here at Emporium. Thank goodness for that too, since it would be very hard to go without this ever again!!! But, I will not think of that right now, right now I’ll just enjoy the wonderful rich and sensuous aroma of me wearing Doulton!

I love the elegance and feminine luxury of this fragrance. There is something about it that draws attention but not because it shouts at you; it's more because it whispers ever so softly yet in a confident, assertive way which commands your full attention and cannot be denied. Doulton is totally classy and polished in a very stylish, modern way... Its plum and melony freshness speak of a person who is youthful and fun, someone who is loves life and enjoys its beauty... Too bad they have discontinued this wonderful fragrance!

This is one of the best perfume I have ever came across. My wife loves it sooooo much and all of her girl friends keep asking what it is and where she got it. I wish it was more accessible though.

This is the one fragrance I never tire of. I never develop that headachy feeling you get after a few weeks with other scents. It is a melodius fragrance with many notes and layers that chages hour by hour.

I was excited when I found you sell Royal Doulton. I have strangers come up to me and ask me what I am wearing before I got so low on what I have left. I have not been able to find it so I was wearing what I had left only on special occassions.

It is hard to find this perfume

Tried it recently again after sampling it a few years ago but my tastes have changed. I thought I'd like it but it's way too sweet and somewhat medicinal. Cheap smelling.

I was reading some of the comments about the perfume and noticed that some of the women talked of the Doulton Lotion to go with the perfume. Where can I go to purchase that. I tried to find it here on the website but was unsuccessful. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help and have a Merry Christmas!

My ex-boyfriend introduced me to Royal Doulton about 2 years ago. I ran out when I went to Nordstrom and found out it was discontinued I was so shocked b/c how great it was. Now I found this web site and am in heaven again. The sent is no light and romantic. Everytime I wear it numerous people ask about it.

I love this perfume so much that when I heard that it was either discontinued or I just couldn't find it anymore not even in places like Neiman Marcus I stop wearing it everyday and only used it for very special occasions but then I found this website and they had Doulton now I can't wait to finish that old bottle to get a brand new fresh one. I can't wait to try that lotion too.

I heard from Nordstrom's (where I used to buy Doulton) that this fragrance has been discontinued.

I was amused by some of the comments "for older women". It's a nice perfume and reminds me of some of the perfumes worn by some of my wealthy aunts when I was a young girl. I like it for that.

Way to strong! Don't like anything that smells so strong. Maybe I got a bad bottle.

Beautiful! I have the ETP and the lotion, I actually like the smell of the lotion better... To me it smells peachy, sweet, the lotions smells fresher. Usally I get sick of wearing the same perfume after few months, but have been wearing this for 2 years and still love it! Does anybody knows if this perfume is discontinued??? I pray not! Someone mentioned this is a ood perfume for older women...hmmm..I'm 29 and I love this one on me!

Like someone else said, it's very classy. It's a scent that you'd expect to smell from a rich woman or princess. But I think it's for older women though. Very beautiful, but not on me...

This perfume is such a class act. The smell is very sophisticated, and makes me feel pretty. It is soft and not overly strong, yet gently floral.
