Smells just like Christina Aguilera's new fragrance called Inspire but being that Bora Bora was out first then Christina copied this scent! I see it is compared to Jadore and I read on other sites that Christina's perfume was also compared to Jadore! But it smells good sweet and tropical.

I liked it at first when I smelled the top notes, which seemed to be honey and hibiscus, but once those faded the middle and bottom notes were super sweet sickening artificial floral. It smelled cheep and tacky, and it gave me a bad headache. I'm giving it to my aunt because I know she likes super sweet smelling perfume. I however hate this one.

I can't imagine anyone not liking Bora Bora. I first discovered it when I visited NY almost 2 years ago. It is my favorite perfume!! I also love Pleasures by Estee Lauder and J Lo Glow. I love them all, but I think Bora Bora is my absolute favorite.

For my nose not a nice fragrance. Smells too synthetic-floral and artificial. Oh no no no. It lacks all the lovely natural exotic ingredients which I love in a fragrance and which I expected in Bora Bora. So I gave my bottle away...

This is the kind of perfume that really makes you feel great to be a woman. It's got a really mysterious scent and my boyfriend likes it!

I have to say, this is one of the most intense florals I have! It's VERY flowery...so if you're not into florals, you're going to hate this one. I assumed since it said "tropical" that there might be fruity notes in it, but any fruit notes or citrus notes are undetectable by my nose...I DO like it, although I'm typically more of a fruity oriental type of gal (like Amor Amor...YUMMY). It feels like you're being sledgehammered upside the head with a thousand flowers...but for me, that's not necessarily a bad thing:-) I WILL be cautious with the use of this thing, for the sake of Bora Bora- haters...it's strong, which can be offensive to other noses. Happy sniffing!

Not my favorite Liz Claiborne scent by a long shot but ok, once in a while, for a change on a summer day.

A friend of my was given the hand cream as a gift. It smelled so good that I decided to buy the spray. I do not regret it and intend to buy another bottle when this one is through.

This fragrance is elegant and so wonderful. I think it should be worn by a mature woman, its not for the teen crowd. It takes a little sophistication and class to wear it properly. Great gift for your mother or grandmother.

I just bought a Liz Claiborne sampler and this perfume is absolutely yummy.

Have to like floral fragrances for this one. Sweet too.

I cannot believe how many positive comments this nasty concoction has gotten! Maybe it smells nice on others, but it is absolutely HORRIBLE on me and gives me the worst headache!! Loud, harsh,way too flowery, plain out GROSS (only my opinion)!!

Wow, how nice is THIS? The ultimate girlie scent. Everything that is good and right about florals. (All brides should smell like this.) All good, happy, sunny things smell like this. The first warm day of spring. A honeymoon in Hawaii, flowers from your honey for no reason...This is my new fall-back...AND it wears pretty long, AND it won't break you! Make that the Triple Play.

I love Bora Bora , it smells like honey suckle , I bought some for my woman friend.

I have bought a set of minies that included Bora Bora to see if it would be worth buying a full size bottle, and even thogh is not bad, it smells like a body spray that can be found at the local drug store for a fraction of the price. I guess my chemestry does not interact with it in a favorable manner. Nevertheless, my sister loved it, and since I was never to wear it again, I gave it to her.

Just goes to show you body chemistry plays a role; I tried this on in summer '02 at a department store and couldn't wait to shower it off. But judging by the many positive comments here, it has numerous fans.

suntan lotion, cotton candy, baby powder, and pineapple. not 2 bad, but i would most likely only buy it in a set w/ other claiborne perfumes in it.

I actually liked the smell!! I didn't even look at the section till the retailer told me about this. The bottle sucks!!!!! I bought it anyway=D

I would recommend Bora Bora. It is a clean,fresh and intoxicating fragrance. The scent reminds me of tropical flower's and ocean breeze's. I wear it every day. So Buy it!

This is a great fragrance for hot, humid weather. It's refreshing and clean, and light enough to wear to work, yet still enough to elicit compliments. It's NOT something I'd wear in the winter, though.

This is a very sweet scent, it gives me headache. The scent is just ok, but its something I would not wear. However I have a friend who likes this scent so I bought one for her. Smells like coconut milk, thats why its a perfect description of "on a trip to Tropical island".

You mentioned you wanted to know if there was another perfume that smelled like Bora Bora. Well in my opinion, the only reason why I DIDN'T buy this perfume is because it smells on me exactly like "J'adore" by Christian Dior. So if you want another really similar scent, I suggest J'adore.

This is very nice. But then I'm notorious for liking sweet, heavy, oriental-type fragrances. LOL. I DETEST politically correct perfumes. Nothing to them at all. You smell one, you smell them all. No staying power and more often than not, they smell like plain soap or potted earth. Anyway, this one is exotic and nice. Sort of like Michael Kors and Fracas. Not as classy though.

That's saying something, too, LOL! She is definately not a perfume person like me, but she really likes this scent and I like it as well. This is one I wouldn't expect coming from a venerable line like Liz Claiborne, but I think this shows that the company is heading in a new, exciting direction.

After smelling this in a magazine,I went to the dept store counter and smelled it in person, I love this smell! Its refreshing and sweet,and I always get compliments on how great I smell!! I love the lotion also,its goes along way,you only have to use alittle bit for soft skin.

this perfume smells like a cheap body splash with a mixture of cheap flowers.

This scent is soft, subtle and sexy. Good for when you're wearing something delicate and sexy. Excellent job. If you like the impossible to find in the stores, Sexy Graffiti, you'll like this as well.

I am generally an oriental-spicy fragrance lover, but Bora Bora is a very nice change for me. Definitely a summer fragrance. Is it my imagination, or do I actually smell the beach and ocean when it dries down? Bora Bora will go great with a tan!
