A wonderful fragrance I finaly found some at the fragrance factory.com thank you.

This fragrance has a fruity floral scent to it. The scent even when it is sweet it is not overwhelming. Ungaro fragrances are known for having more oils than water; therefore, the fragrance last longer and are stronger than other perfumes. This is a casual/day wear type of fragrance. When applied to the pulse areas it will continuously emanate the aromatic magic that Senso is all about. I personally like to buy the splash EDP from this designer. This is because his EDP is compared to the extract. Senso by Ungaro is a sensual and beautiful scent that if applied moderately will have many head turning your way.

I bought a small vial/sample of this at an antique store last month. I was SO fascinated with this scent! I have never smelled this, or even heard of it really, and apparently it has been discontinued (?). I went straight to Ebay and tracked down 3 new boxed bottles and bought every one of them. It is rich and fruity, and sensual. Fruity as in over ripe on the verge of going bad (naughty!) fruits, not something you would use in a smoothie! :) (Think along the lines of Dior's Poison scent's). I also detect a spicy note, but have yet to identify what that one is. Ginger perhaps? Not sure. It is a remarkable fragrance, and I am so sad I had never heard of this before. I own TONS of scents, and it may just be my new signature fragrance. Okay....who am I kidding, I could never stick to just one! :) Cheers!

I bought a sample vial of this today as I was attracted to the colourful packaging. After the fruity-floral top notes, the dry-down is surprisingly sexy and delicious. I plan to add this one to my collection if I can get hold of some. I gave away my mini bottle of Diva as it was way too heavy and overpowering for me, definitely for the very confident and very mature.

i've given this a few tries, in part because the sample bottle they give out is so generously sized. the first time i smelled it i rather liked it. but didn't find myself using it. later tries were so-so. tried using it a few days ago, as part of pick-me-up in cold weather snap. mistake. you know when you put the wrong perfume on in the morning, and you can't get it off? perfume from hell? this was that. sweet, boring floriental (vetiver, amber, unidentifiable flower, raspberry-like sweet dull fruit) that would not go away. i dunno, i don't like florientals. i think at best they're dull, at worst they're avon, and they always have cheap peaking around the corner trying to slip in. this was standard boring floriental, almost uber-floriental, the archtype. blah. not bug spray ghastly, but not good, for me anyway.

Again another who thought this was discontinued. This is the best scent ever and i have yet to find one to replace it. I will be ordering lots of bottles. I had guys following me around just for the smell, they LOVE it. As do I... This is one scent you HAVE to have. No actually don't buy it - i don't need any competition!!!

I don't know what the other ladies find soft about this fragrance -- I think it's pretty in-your-face, but in a good way. Straight out of the bottle, it kind of smells like something a grandma would wear. But let it dry down, and it smells like something that would make a grandma blush. Very spicy and sultry; fruity, but not exactly sweet either. I couldn't decide if I liked it or not, but kept wanting to smell my wrist over and over again so I guess the fragrance is doing something right. My fiance noticed the scent right away and loved it. The design of the bottle is downright ghastly, with an explosion of pink, blus, and yellow with polka dots. Like, totally 80s! If you could bottle the Go-Gos, that's what they would look like. But at least you don't wear the bottle. :) This would make a fabulous winter perfume, but way too much for summer.

I am so happy to find this perfume again! It is the only one I wear. When I thought it was out of production, I kept looking for another but I never found one I liked as well. It is unique.

Indeed I was told about 6 years ago that Ungaro would be keeping Diva as Ladies' perfume and discontinue Senso - glad you are selling it, as it was my favourite perfume at the time!!

  • PATRICIA03/19/2002

I like this scent, though I had it a long time ago... I thought it was discontinued, and haven't seen it for years. But I remember it was a very nice fruity-floral (some ambery undertones), and it was one of my favorites.

  • AIMEE12/20/2001

2 different personalities - On the one hand: sweet; edible; rootbeer; cream soda; fruit..On the other hand it has warm, masculine notes like men's after shave. Overall, it is a soft oriental-ambery.

  • ANNALISA12/03/2001

senso was better before they changed it. It was nice, floreal and luxurious. Now it's different and I don't like it.

  • VIKI10/06/2001

Senso? It still exists? I thought it was discontinued!! What a surprise! I had Senso 10 years ago, and I remember it was a very nice perfume: fruity, warm and tender, and not overpowering - very discrete. I liked it very much. I highly reccomended it.
