  • BETH BABB10/25/2016

    My favourite perfume!

  • DEBBIE SNIDER10/19/2016

I've been using this for years because I love it. It is a soft fragrance that doesn't set off my allergies or other people's around me. A week doesn't go by that 2 or 3 people haven't asked me what scent I'm wearing. I'll be buying Diva as long as it is available.

  • ROSE12/05/2015

Without a doubt, Diva, is my all time favorite fragrance! If fact, it was the one responsible for my love of scents. While Diva is a stronger scent, it has a way of soothing my soul as no other scent can do.

  • BETH BABB08/25/2012

Diva is my favourite fragrance and it's becoming increasingly hard to find. I'm delighted to find that Perfum Emporium carries a full line of Ungaro products, including my Diva. Your delivery was very speedy, the perfume was in pristine condition. Thank you very much! I'll be shopping again for sure! :)

  • DEBORAH01/15/2012

I have worn Diva since1986 and every time I wear it people comment on how great it smells all the time. I love the body lotion also. NO it is not an old ladies perfume for younger women. It is a personal choice, so stick with it. People will appreciate what you wear. Wait and See.

  • SHARON BACH10/28/2011

I have used this bath gel since a student gave me some for Christmas in 1986. I absolutely adore it! Unfortunately I can no longer seem to find it! I hope it becomes available again!

  • CYNTHIA ABRIL03/23/2010

I loved this fragrance on my high school French teacher so much! I never would have known about this perfume had I not asked her what she wore. I wrote down the name but never found it at the local department stores. This was eight years ago. My question to all you fragrance experts is this: I am 24 years old, is this fragrance too mature for a 24 year old? I think I'm worried about this because I have worn older fragrances like Paloma Picasso and Anais Anais and get a negative response. I've heard things like you smell like my grandma, with Paloma a boyfriend of mine even asked if I was wearing men's cologne!

  • RUTH MONTGOMERY09/01/2009

I have used Diva since 1983. I saw an add in a magazine. It is awesome! I have more compliments while wearing Diva than any other brand.

  • EILEEN07/29/2009

perhaps the diva you bought was old and soured it does that and the color will change

  • ANN07/15/2009

I purchased the large tester and it smells off! Diva used to be my signature perfume, so I know the scent well, this is not the Diva I used to wear. I wonder if the formula has changed and they failed to note that on the website. I have it on my dresser sitting for over 2 months and have only attempted to use it twice. Now, I am debating selling it on ebay. Maybe there is a difference between the tester and the actual bottles. The best way to describe it, is that it smells like a knock off. Too bad... wasted my money on this purchase.

  • ME11/19/2008

This one is really great. It is a rosey chypre smell. It has the spicy rose smell in the opening and then the middle notes are spice, it ends with oak moss. Very similar to Paloma and Knowing. I like this one better - it has more rose in it. Love this and wear it in the cooler months every year. The EDP has the best staying power. I hope Ungaro does not discontinue this frag!

  • MONICA02/18/2008

i have been wearing Diva way back when it was sold in robinsin-may. i just happened to smeel it by chance, and glad i did ! i would say its been over 20 yrs now. i do wish they would bring back the BODY CREAM!.. I prefer that over the lotion.

  • SUZAN06/18/2007

I've worn it since high school and have been loyal since. The lotion smells softer and is longer lasting than the perfume.

  • DIANE06/01/2007

I first smelled this at the px in Germany when it came out. Sadly, I didn't have enough money for it. Forgot about it for years until going through this website--can't wait to finally buy it!

  • CLAIRE03/28/2007

I first got introduced to Diva when it was a NeimanMarcus exclusive way back..I got a free sample...My husband went back and bought me some for Christmas that year. It has been my favorite ever since. A guy I worked with was in a barbershop and reading Bostonian magazine and he thought I was there then realized it was a sniff sample in the magazine. He bought some for his wife and it did not match her body chemistry. So always try a sample before you but it. I worked in a hospital and some of th docs would come talk to me just to get a sniff. They even admitted it!!! It's my favorite ...I hope for ever!!!!

  • WILDFLOWER02/16/2007

I have loved this scent from the first time I smelled it on a statement enclosure from a high end retail store years ago. They have discontinued the body cream, it was soooo great. Talk about staying power. The lotion is good but I still miss the cream.

  • ANNA01/15/2007

Even though I love patchouli notes, I bought a sample vial first (or would have gone to a store for a spritz). I like Diva very much and the dry-down is exceptionally nice too. I'm glad it worked with my body chemistry... I would buy a full-size bottle.

  • SHADOW_DANCER10/11/2006

I love this fragrance. I have had people walk up to me several times and ask what I was wearing and where could they purchase it!

  • LYNNE09/20/2006

Diva can only be called spectacular. It is unforgettable. It will haunt you. Men will make passes at you. If you want to smell like a grapefruit, kumquat, coconut, bubble gum or a cupcake do not buy this product. Go to the grocery store instead. I don't know what is in Diva, but this stuff is sex in a bottle.

  • CHANEL2207/27/2006

Lovely floral chypre with spices in the background.Fifteen years ago, I thought it smell too grown-up. I did like the pure parfum then, which is more rich floral. Recently, I resniffed and fell head-over-heels. I recently tried Knowing and thought it was not good. So, they aren't that much alike. BTW, Diva was created by Chanel parfums and only recently sold to Ferragamo.

  • FRAGRANCE JUNKIE06/10/2006

I am so glad I finally tried this one. I truly love it. Very "expensive" feeling. It reminds me of Knowing very much, but is not quite as woody/mossy. It has a lot of staying power, which pleases me to no end. Used it last night on a date, and I can still smell it this morning! Wonderful! I would have to say I prefer Diva to Knowing, only because it has more soft notes to it, and is likely to be a bit more wearable than Knowing, which I consider to be a true evening scent. It is a chypre as the description implies, but not so totally over-the-top as to scare someone away. Of course, I do not mind being over the top and frightening people away with my fragrance choices anyway! Also, thanks to all of you who posted on the differences between the EDP and the EDT. I bought the EDP, and am completely happy with it.

  • CODEBLUE05/30/2006

Soft and buttery after the initial blast. Love this one and the way it seems to make me feel - feminine, lazy, luxurious, spicey, and regal. Must be the name ;) Lotsa compliments!

  • MIRABELLA01/16/2006

Elegant and sensual, this semi oriental fragrance is a classic. The powdery note adds a feminine touch. Some women can pull this off very elegantly and others will just be too impatient for her. Diva is a Diva!

  • QUI11/04/2005

I wanted to try this fragrance due to all the great reviews. However; I made a big mistake. I'll stick to my motto.....try before I buy!!!!

  • PERFUME JUNKIE08/20/2005

Philly, I hear you. I wore Diva A LOT during the 80s. Invariably got compliments on it, too. A scent for women with attitude. I love it.

  • MZPLACEDINPHILLY05/13/2005

I wore this for a few years in the 80's. Although I was in my late teens I still managed to pull it off. I of my favorite comments was that it "smelled like money". I still keep a bottle around. This is not for the week of heart. It is a strong fragrance for a strong woman as the name implies.

  • M05/12/2005

Diva is really outstanding! Agree with Karen S - you have to wait a while, at first it is´nt so flattering but after half an hour....My expeariance is that many good perfumes are not flattering at first, they win in the long run and you have to use them several times to really appreciate them. Good beacause than we not need to smell it everywhere. Finally I think that Diva has similarities with Montana but a much lighter version.

  • RITA05/06/2005

Diva, although it has many smell-alikes, (i.e., Teatro alla Scala by Krizia, Basile by Basile, Coco by Chanel, Paloma Picasso Mon Parfum, Aromatics Elixer by Clinique, Magic Potion by Avon, Opium by YSL, Fath de Fath by Jacques Fath, KL by Lagerfeld, Agent Provocateur & La Perla) is, I have to say, in class by itself. It's all in the unique dry down. The resins in the EDP leave an almost incense quality on the skin. The final notes are a surprise -very musky, powdery, ambery. In the 80's Diva was too much for me to wear in my 20's, however, now in my 40's, I seem to have grown into the fragrance. It's a classic - just like Chanel No. 5 & Shalimar. I would go so far as to say one of THE premiere perfumes of the 80's, and well worthy of its name.

  • JOYCE 04/16/2005

I have worn diva since 1989, an old boyfriend bought it for me, and I fell in love it, it's not for evryone, only for Diva's

  • SIGNATURE SENT-ORIGINAL DIVA04/02/2005

From the very first time, I smelled Diva I thought of high class-elegance and power. The sent is like being around a charismatic person I just wanted to follow it and be around it. I wear it even during the day when I want to make a long lasting impact on clients and colleagues. I feel it gives me an heir of confidence = to class and power! The sent is so soft on the right person after a few minutes of the initial spray. These feelings are what conjures a signature sent. Eau de Parfume 80% oil > Eau de Toilette contains 20- 40% oil by volume. I have not seen the Perfume any more that was 60% per volume.

  • SIGNATURE SENT04/02/2005

I have been wearing Diva since 1987, as a sophmore in high school it was a hefty price, but worth every penny for the PARfume not the EDT. When distribution was low the past two years I bought the EDT and I had to reapply it and some people said it smelled like a cleaning product. The PARFUME will last for days!

  • KRISTIN M.03/05/2005

Diva is a nice scent...not my favorite type of scent....I find it to be a bit too mature and serious for me. Reminds me a lot of Ysatis by Givenchy. I could wear these but only for certain occasions.

  • KAREN S.11/05/2004

I agreed with some of the negative comments until I let the top -notes die down then it took on a delicious scent and I really like it. Sometimes it's a waiting gme.

  • TERI10/01/2004

My sister bought this in NYC. I tried it and stole it from her! I have since replaced hers & bought many more bottles. I love it!!

  • SMELLHAPPY08/17/2004

The EDP is quite lovely (subject to body chemistry of course), but steer clear of the EDT. When I finally located the fragrance, I was happy but careless and ended up with the EDT. It's sort of the "ugly stepsister" to the EDP...

  • K2K05/04/2004

I love Diva EDP & EDT for the fall & winter, but am looking for a lighter but similar fragrance for the summer -- does anyone have a recommendation?

  • KATHLEEN04/06/2004

I prefer the EDP instead of the EDT. It is softer. It is my favorite perfume!

  • AHASFET03/13/2004

A winner! What a combination! UNIQUE AND PERFECT! You must try this.

  • BILL12/08/2003

I bought this last year for my wife along with victoria. I love the smell of patchouli but could not find it here. This stuff started strong and stayed strong all night. It was the same every time no matter how light it was put on her. Too overpowering.

  • MARY K. 09/11/2003

I really wanted to try this perfume after all the great postings I read on it, but when I finally bought some and tried it, I almost gagged. I thought something was wrong with the bottle that I bought; it was that bad. I'm glad some people love it, but I just can't stand it. To me, it smells like that perfume that has turned rancid.

  • ANDREA06/10/2003

This was the first fragrance I started to use back in the mid 80's and continued using it all the way to the 90's until you couldn't buy it in Finland anymore. I thought they had stopped making it! Wow so it STILL exists! Going to have to figure out how and where to get some. Still miss this fragrance so much. Sensual, fresh yet sweet.

  • HISAKO05/18/2003

I read the comments and purchased it. It was O.K. First it smelled bit medicinal and cloying, then floral tone joined and final note was soft nice floral with touch of woody scent. Remind me of OR resemble to Paloma by Paloma piccaso.

  • VALERIA04/17/2003

...it is very longlasting, excellent staying power!

  • VALERIA04/17/2003

One of the finest chypre scents...A perfume for a real "diva". Very elegant. (To me it has some similarity with YSL's "Y" but it is warmer). I don't wear it because chypre scents are not my favourites but it is very elegant on a right woman.

  • JULIE B04/01/2003

When I first purchaced the mini bottle of Diva and smelled it right from the bottle, I thought it was gross. Very heavy and old ladyish. Well after trying on just a dab I noticed it really does smell OK once it's on your skin. It has a warm spicy smell. Not one of my favorites but not bad enought to give away. If you're into light floral scents you'll probably hate this one. If you prefer a more spicy warm scent you may find this one is for you.

  • GRACE03/01/2003

But it's not for wearing at the bus-stop! It's rich, warm and spicy. Think Maria Callas...Anna Magnani...Sophia Loren...Catherine Zeta Jones.

  • GRACE03/01/2003

It's for the theatre - better yet the opera, as it's name implies. It's rich, hot and spicy. Think Maria Callas...Anna Magnani...Sophia Loren...Catherine Zeta Jones.

  • MEOW02/03/2003

Turns to cat urine on my skin the moment the two make contact. I like it in the bottle, but it has to be the most horrible smell on me. I dont wish this experience on anyone. I wont give it a bad rating cause I know it has to smell great on someone else.

  • DIVA-EE GOODNESS11/25/2002

For some reason this fragrance drives men crazy.

  • AUDREY11/16/2002

sooooooooo heavy.I liked Desnuda very much

  • HAIRYBIZNESS09/28/2002

One of my older yet gorgeous clients came in for a Haircut and she was wearing Diva...I just had to have it. For some reason the wonderful scent seemed to make her more beautiful. (You think this only is in commercial's) She said she was a model in her 20's, she was in her 70's.

  • MEL09/26/2002

I was waiting for the bus when I smelled this mesmorizing aroma, right then and there I asked the lady for the name. I called my husband from the bus stop and told him to pick it up for me. VIVA DIVA

  • NICOLE09/25/2002

I love it. Sophisticated, elegant, fresh and spicy, not too strong, delicious!! But it's getting difficult to find.

  • CAROLINE09/10/2002

I had bought a bottle six months ago because I was nostalgic for the days when I worked at a perfume counter. I just started wearing it a few days ago and I must say, I've been in love with it. It's spicy, yet has a fresh note to it. I've been reaching for it every morning and after every shower (and I have almost 30 perfumes on my night stand). This is definately going to get replaced when it runs out!!!

  • CRISTINA07/13/2002

personally,I bought Diva for myself,I heard beautiful things about it but I just can t stand it,it is so strong.finally I gave it to my mum,she since that loves this perfumes.Ever since,I have to buy her this perfume and I find it pretty hard. The only thing that I love about this perfume is that I know that my mum was here, her smell stays in every room she gets in.not bad,I dont have to search for her ...I simply find her after the scent...im like a puppy now...

  • KIMBERLY06/14/2002

very nice and not over powering. I feel very pretty when I have it on.

  • KIMBERLY06/09/2002

This fragrance is so wonderful. I asked someone what they were wearing and it was Diva. Went and tried it on and oh boy did it smell good. The ladies that I have talked to at the perfume counters say the women that wear Diva are die hard wearers and now I know why you have to try it at least one time and the body lotion is just as nice.

  • MELISSA WIESER04/28/2002

    I bought mine here: Sephora 70-72 avenue des Champs-Elysées 75008 PARIS Tel: 01.53.93.22.50 Fax: 01.53.93.22.51 Monday - Saturday 10h - 24h Sunday 11h - 24h They also had a stick deodorant!

  • SAMANTHA01/31/2002

Does anyone know where I can buy Diva Perfumed Body Lotion?

  • CAROL B12/01/2001

I am now on the 14 year of wearing Diva. To this day there is not a day that goes by without at one person asking the name of my perfume. Why in the world would I ever waste my money on anything else. I was even asked by a hotel maid, via a note, in the room inquiring what the name of my perfume was!!

  • C.A.G.11/10/2001

....send my pulses racing like Ungaro fragrances. Whenever I wear this fragrance I not only feel gorgeous, the aroma surrounding me is absolutely divine. Warm, intoxicating, and VERY LONG lasting, Diva is a perfume like no other. Mysterious and ultimately high class, it wears like a signature. DIVA blends perfectly with my husband's favorite fragrance UNGARO III for men. That is the ultimate fragrance for men. I like many fragrances, but when it comes to DIVA and UNGARO III for men, my pulses race and I just want to keep smelling them all night! Can not rate this fragrance highly enough. A lighter fragrance also exquisite for lighter days like summer is FLEUR DE DIVA also by UNGARO. That is best for days where DIVA might be too strong.

  • CURT WEBB10/16/2001

    great stuff warm and enticing.

  • RUBY07/07/2001

sweet and floral and warm. i think maybe better for night. not too strong or sharp.

  • C. MASON07/04/2001

Diva is the most sensual fragrance I have ever experienced! It really makes me sad however, that the spray oil of this delicious fragrance can nolonger be obtained! It was trully intoxicating!

  • CAPRI G12/04/2000

Just wanted to say that DIVA is the most wonderful perfume that I have ever used. Since they stopped carrying it locally, I have been so upset. Now, I know where I can get it again. Every time I wear DIVA, people always want to know what I have on. It is far above any other fragrance that is out there right now.
