OMG I cannot understand why anyone would discontinue such a beautiful perfume! I miss it so much...... Help!!

Why oh why do they keep all the crap and quit making all the good stuff??? I am SO upset I can't get this lovely perfume anymore!! :o(

I can't believe that I never reviewed this beautiful complex but not very well-known fruity Ricci-fragrance!!! The best Ricci ever made IMO. Adorable bottle design (EDT=pink / EDP=orange). Gorgeous delicious-sweet-fruity chypre fragrance with class and a special kick. Simply beautiful. Similar to Yvresse (ex Champagne) but more subtle and soft. The dry-down reminds me on Calyx by Prescriptives. Meanwhile there are too many fruity fragrances on the market... - Anyway Deci Dela, Yvresse and Calyx (1987!) were super innovative delicious fragrances when they came out in the 90s. Grandmother of these scents is FEMME by Rochas. Here a description: "Deci Dela by Nina Ricci for Women. Year Introduced: 1995. Scent Type: Floral - Fruity. Top Notes: Freesia, raspberry, peach, melon, boronia. Heart Notes: Hazelnut, freesia, May rose. Base Notes: Cypress, patchouli, myrrh, tonka bean, oakmoss. This is a wonderful scent!!!! I love the orange bottle I don't want a lighter scent I want all the gusto I can get of this stuff!!!!!

Is there any other perfume which smells identical to deci dela.I loved deci dela when it first came out.. But all the bottles ive bought now smell different. They are missing the strong topnotes of sweet juicy champagney raspberry soda and melon/apricot mixed with toasted hazlenut gelato. Can anyone suggest any imposter , deo , body spray or perfume .. ANYTHING which smells just like deci dela? ( believe it or not the teen spirit rapberry deodorant which as discontinued in 97 smelt similar to my lovely deci dela!)

I bought deci dela in 2002 or before and was madly in love with it.. There was this burst of sweet candy raspberries mixed with slight hazlenut gelato . Somehow since then all the bottles ive purchased fail to provide that raspberry melon burst. Is it because its old now? Gucci RUSH smells similar but only in the base notes.. Can anyone plz suggest a scent close to the raspberry melon of DECI DELA? ANYTHING , even a candle, deodorant , body spray etc will do!!

This fruity & beautiful don't-worry-be-happy-fragrance smells good enough to drink. If you like yummy fruity-scents with a kick like Yvresse (ex Champagne by YSL), Intuition by EL, Apparition by Ungaro, BRIT Red, or Red Jeans by Versace (RJ is very similar in the headnotes!!) this may be a winner for you. Oakmoss (Chypre) give this fragrance complexity, refinement and chic. Deci Dela by Nina Ricci is rare, no cheap-fun-fragrance and not easy to find. The bottle design is magnificent!!! Year Introduced: 1995. Scent Type: Floral - Fruity (Chypre). Top Notes: Freesia, raspberry, peach, melon, boronia Heart Notes: Hazelnut, freesia, May rose. I agree wholeheartedly with those who wrote "Deci-Delicious" and "Scintellating". The first time I smelled this, I was blown away. Deci Della is a real achievement of complicated deliciousness. The juicy soft apricot is ballanced exquisitely with dark cool moss and woods, and there is not a hint of powder anywhere. It drives me wild.

This is such a grear smelling scent, seem to be having trouble finding it in my local stores here in the uk

I have loved this scent. Especially like to layer (ie shower gel, cream, dusting talc and perfume). Lots of compliments but can't find the cream (scent lasts), shower gel or the dusting talc. Where did it go????

I like the orange bottle/parfum much better. Stronger scent, but last longer. Although, the orange bottle is difficult to find. I have only found it in airports abroad. Cannot find in the USA. Am ordering the orange for the first time online. Hope I am getting what I think I am ordering!!!!!If so, will be very happy.

this is a delightful fragrance..... the pink bottle is much lighter though and seems to fade away after a few hours if you have dry skin ! the orange one is stronger.

need i say more, i found a bottle back in 96 and fell in love with it, since then i have had a new bottle for xmas every year, it so reminds me of when i first got it xmas.

Deci Dela is a Chypre - Fruity scent that opens so wonderfully with Peach, Apricot, Raspberry (mmmm), Melon, and Baronia (which gives it that ever so slight citrus opening mixed with the above). At the heart of Deci Dela is Jasmine, Freesia, Hazelnut (mmmm), May Rose and Orris; giving it a very exotic, unique feel. Only to arrive at the base notes which crown Deci Dela with lingering scent of woods of Cypress, Patchouli, Myrrh, Vanilla, Sandal, Oakmoss and Styrax. I am very surprised to see that Deci Dela does not have a larger groups of admirers on Perfume Emporium... The bottle too is just stunningly gorgeous. Fuschia pink with gold swirls all around and around, kind of like the way Deci Dela goes.

I find this fragrance to be extraordinarily beautiful, it simply just charms. My first encounter with it - I was in love ;)

I just like this one no matter what the ocassion is or the mood I'm in !!, very pleasant smell I own lots of different brands and never got a compliment on this yet but I can care less !! I will always buy this one, it just makes me feel good all over.

This perfume fairly crackles, it's such an exciting scent. Yes, it's fruity, but somehow not overly sweet, and is a bit sharp. But that's good.

In my opinion this is a unique fragrance but very warm, great drydown and long-lasting. A nice winter fragrance. All Nina's scents are nice, I also were les belles and wore premier jour but found her scents w/exception of this one don 't last and you have to layer which I just don't have the time for! This one is really nice!

Found this one at my favorite place to shop. I had always wanted to get this some years back. I don't know what to exactly make of it. This is not a negative response, but it is unsual because it has hazelnut-& rasberries. It is in a concentree' form. I not sure whether it is a edp or parfum toilette? Very different for Ricci!

Will always be on my dresser, doesn't offend, and is very light. Shower gel (if you can find it) smells even better, strangely.

I always like this scent, next to L'air du Temps. It's clean smelling and lasts on me.

It's a lovely, soft powdery scent. Floral and woodsy, but not too cloying. Perfect for when the weather is somewhere between spring and winter! Lovely!

i really love this scent. but it is very potent. when i smelled it for the first time, i thought of being censed by the priest at church. i walk out of church with that smell clinging to me. so perhaps you could say that this perfume is divinely inspired?

I tried so many fragrances so far and Im always looking for something unique,something that smells a little different.My fault is that I get tired so quickly of a smell that I always have to search something else.So,after so many perfumes,although I knew Deci Dela before,I bought a bottle and Im so happy I did...I dont like sweet perfumes,I hate oriental,heavy perfumes,I hate a floral,only floral scents,I found something not sweet but it makes me sweet if someone can understand this...I just love it...

I discovered this rare and wonderfull fragance for 17 springs and it's the only female perfume that I love. But I'm disappointed 'cause I can't find the body's products. They're only available in the Nina Ricci's Corner in Paris !!!

I first bought this because I loved the ad campaign when it came out...a woman with bobbed dark hair with two "fairies" fluttering about. It still is my favorite. Fruity, but not too sweet. Touch of floral, but not too much. Complex and interesting and just different. Also I love the fact that it isn't "powdery" which I believe is aldehyic? Too many powdery frangrances around. They smell so Eighties.
