Night Musk from Aviance has always been my favorite one. I have tried different parfumes before, but nothing compares to Aviance Night Musk from Prince Matchabelli for me. I put it on every day and I always get a lot of compliments for it.

you would think with all of us wanting back the old aviance that they would do it loved it not so much of the new one

I am hoping you all can help me. I am hoping to find the original for my mother in law for a Christmas gift. I never bought it before so how do I distinquish between the old and new. On ebay, they all say pretty much the same description and title. The only thing I see that is different is the shape of the bottle. Please help!!!

I STARTED WEARING NIGHT MUSK WHEN I WAS IN NEW YORK, IN 1989, HAS BEEN HOOKED ON IT EVERY SINCE. EVERY STORE THAT I'VE BEEN IN DOES NOT CARRY IT. I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER THE ORIGINAL PERFUME>AVIANCE, BY PRINCE MATCHABELLI. I JUST GOTTA FIND THE ORIGINAL NIGHT MUSK.

i agree this new verison of aviance really smell"s like chit i wish they bring back the old every now an then you can find it on e-bay an beleave me i buy them up

I hope someone in the production area of Aviance will bring back the formula for the 1980 version of Aviance Night Musk. I like the new but it is not near the fragrance as the classic.

Loved the original then they turned it into Aviance Night Musk Extraordinare and this newer version was awful--smelled like men's shaving cream--where can I find the original?--It was my abosolute all-time favorite

My older sister used to wear this and I thought she was sooooo cool and wanted to be just like her. Still do! so pleeeeease bring back the original!!!!!!

This splash was available by Prince Matchabelli in the 50s. They also sold the hand bar soap. It was wonderful!! I wish PM would find this scent and make it available again! It was wonderful! I don't understand why they are still making the others when this one was much more superior.

I have had both versions- and I can't stand either of them. They are at the same time both watery with some note in it that smells...dirty..and I don't mean "earthy" dirty. Made me nauseous- it went back!

i wish they would put it back into the stores....this is the only perfume that stays with me and that i actually got compliments on and i can't find this anywhere and i've even drove to florida and looked in all the stores on the way up and no-one sells it anywhere.....please bring it back into the stores.....

I, too, miss the ORIGINAL Version of Aviance Night Musk perfume. Why would they change such a good thing? I just ordered Aviance from another website thinking it MIGHT be the original version, but it's not. Do they even manufacture it anymore? If so, PLEASE start selling it, because the new version smells "Cheap". It's just not the same.

Please bring back the old original fragrance Aviance Night musk. I can't find any other cologne or perfumes that compares to the original. The new fragrance you have out now is horrible.

Original Aviance was wonderful..I wore it in in the '80s and tried the newer version when I could not find the original anywhere...I don't like the revised scent. If I could find the original scent in retail stores again I would buy it. I was always complimented when wearing the older version...please bring back the older great smelling original..can the original be purchased anywhere now?

I gave this to a girlfriend. I was getting rid of some of the ones I didn't wear as much, this one was in the bunch. Later she told me she got so many compliments on this a work.

I Love the way it smells - I love the way it makes me feel. I wrote the company that changed it and they told me they has such good sales on the new one that they had no intentions of changing it back - well I have no intention of buying the new one!

I loved the original Night Musk so much that I wrote to the current manufacturer to find out what happened to it. They told me that Prince Matchabelli sold the perfume to Parfums de Coeur (I believe they couldn't make it with natural musk anymore, in this country at least). P d C changed the formulation, and in my opinion, it smells like bug spray. Yuck!! Bring back the original!!

I agree with all those who say the old version is better. When I found out they were changing the formula I bought every bottle I could get my hands on. I love it and really would like to see the old formula come back. The new formula (I feel) isn't even close to smelling like the orginal. I wish they would bring it back.

This perfume is so sexy. My contractor told me how good I smelled, when I was standing beside him. I brought the newer one from Walmart and took it back. Instead I went on EBAY and got the older version, they have this all the time. This perfume is great, I see why alot of people like it. It also lasts all day. 5 stars.

I'm in agreement with the other customer who expressed the sincere desire to be able to purchase this product from a retail store. I have several family members who also had used this product for a long period of time and had, up to this point, not been able to even determine if this product was still being manufacured. l'm sure if they were willing to put this back in the local stores, they would be astonished at the demand for this product. Why not give it a try.

I would really like to suggest Dune to the ladies who really miss the "old recipe". It's quite nice really, obviously a bit more costly! But you also don't need as much. Just a thought...

Everyone comments on this perfume. Men can be down-right embarassing sometimes going on and on about how good I smell. The only place I can find this is Wal-mart.

What ever happened to the old fragrance of the avaince night musk they use to make ,i bought it all the time that was the only one i use to wear.please tell me where i can find it, i really like it. or go back and make the old one again please.

I've always loved this perfume, but noticed the change around that same time. I hate it now, and have never found an alternative. I don't wear perfume anymore. /sigh

Original Aviance was wonderful..I wore it in high school and managed to purchase a few bottles several years ago..now you can only buy the newer version..i don't like the revised scent much..i was always complemented when wearing the older version.. i loved it..now i think it still has a hint of the old but has much heavier smell and darker color different bottle..i still wear it occassionally..but its just not the same..please bring back the older great smelling original..can the original be purchased anywhere now?

This is the only purfume i've ever worn, except for a splurge for a bottle of Dune. I work in a supermarket, and get complimented each and every day about how good I smell. Was starting to panic because everybody has stopped selling it in San Diego! Excited to see it on line. I think every bottle smells a little different, but have yet to have one smell "cheap". Somtimes purfumes can smell different with your body smell. Don't know...

My lover gets very romantic when I were Night Musk. He just loves to smell it on me. So does my husband. By the way they are one in the same. T'd like to thank Prince Matchabelli!

I beleive the sent has changed also! This is one sent that both Men and Women would approch me to complement my sent. Now not so much

I was very fond of the original aviance night musk. I heard they stopped making it in 1997. I find the new version to be revolting. I found Mesmerize by Avon to be an excellent alternative.

I have been wearing this for 20 years, and everyone I come in contact with comments how wonderful this scent is. I get more hugs than you can imangine lol. Im sorry that it is not sold by the retailers anymore. Guess Ill just have to keep getting it here. Please dont ever stop making it. My kids get upset when I run out, they say I dont smell likr mom

I used to wear Aviance night musk in high school and it was a delicious, warm, sexy smell -- but this... did they change it? It smells cheap now!! Does anyone know if they changed the composition or is it just me?
